Happy Advent!

Here's the link to the November thread where we cheered each other on to be MoSlender

Now we slide frostily into Christmas with the hope of losing more (or at least not losing our grip completely)

Nsv are brilliant. Weirdly even though I have lost quite a substantial amount of weight very few people have commented.

My nsv for this week was the size 10 dress fitting, stretchy and its skin tight, but it fits!

We had our monthly take away last night. Focuses the crap into one night a month instead of the old way where we are pizza / burgers / KFC at least once a week. I only hate half of mine. But that was still a plate and a half.

Gym tomorrow morning for me to start a week of going. This week I've been fighting off a bug and I haven't been. I have been doing my daily abs though.

BeyondTheHarpy · 03/12/2016 09:57

NSV for me, I just had a shower. Feeling pretty much normal now, just waiting to be let home.

Mummyreindeerlegz · 03/12/2016 10:06

Great news Beyond

ponygirlcurtis · 03/12/2016 10:12

What a great NSV, Quim, and what as great feeling. I did giggle about you dancing in the ladies. And about your DH and his possibly imaginary pole dance. Grin

So glad you are feeling more normal, Beyond. Will you get home today?

I am planning on staying on gin cocktails today - lots of liquid (hydrating), take longer to drink (won't get too drunk too fast). Win win! Xmas Grin

BeyondTheHarpy · 03/12/2016 10:37

Hopefully. The kids are helping DH to put the decs up ATM to 'surprise' me Xmas Smile

BitOutOfPractice · 03/12/2016 10:52

Oh great! You'll have to redo them you know that don't you?

Glad you're on the men Beyond. You had us worried there!

Wish I was on the men

BitOutOfPractice · 03/12/2016 13:41

Oops! Grin

Oh, forgot to mention I lost half a pound

Woop woop, so glad you're feeling better Beyond!

You can have today's Star BOOP, Sat morning gym session is very virtuous! I have only just had my first food of the day Xmas Shock A smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwich. Only marginally naughty, but I'm babysitting a friend's daughter and they've left me chocolate, Prosecco and money for a takeaway, so it's going to get a whole lot worse Xmas Grin

QuimReaper · 03/12/2016 15:44
  • and for the loss, I meant to add!
Bunnyjo · 03/12/2016 17:25

Hello all, some great posts on here - well done, everyone. Beyond, I hope you're feeling much better.

Huge congratulations to Quim and Mummy for their NSV, and a Star for BOOP going to the gym on a weekend morning!

Weighed myself this morning, as I usually weigh at the weekend, and I'm now 11st 13.5lb - no longer 12something, woohoo!

HairsprayBabe · 03/12/2016 19:18

Was 12.4 this morning but have eaten pizza and cake today so I am not hopeful for the morning...

QuimReaper · 03/12/2016 19:57

I never explained about my meeting, did I.

I was at once 1.5 hours late and one week early. Net fuck-up: 166.5 hours.

Confused

I surely deserve some kind of prize for that...

Rogeliodelavega · 03/12/2016 20:35

Hello, as you can tell by my name I am not a mum but a dad. Sorry if I'm not allowed here lol. So my dw suggested I join mum's net, as I want to lose weight and could really do with some support and help. I'm not fat but a bit podgy. But at 6ft 5 I guess I pull it off well. I'm looking at doing the 30 day shred and was wondering if any of you ladies had tried it and what were ur results if u don't mind me asking

Mummyreindeerlegz · 03/12/2016 20:37

I like it as it's short and I was able to fit it in every day. Level one is pretty easy but level two worked well for me. Physio suggested I stop as it's too high impact for me.

BeyondTheHarpy · 03/12/2016 20:58

My cannula is out, swapping to tablet antibiotics and they just want to check that I react okay to them overnight. So I should be let out first thing - keep fingers crossed for me!

Then xmas meal tomorrow (hence why I am so keen to escape!) :)

Rogeliodelavega · 03/12/2016 21:21

CN I ask if you got OK results doing it. I just lack self esteem so always put myself of it lol

Mummyreindeerlegz · 03/12/2016 21:22

Yep, I was stronger and more toned from doing it. I do three gym sessions a week now and a good amount of weights for the same outcome.

Archduke · 03/12/2016 21:40

Hi all, I'd like to join you - I have lost 7lbs in the last month and need to lose another stone before reaching my old fighting weight of 9st something. I'd really like to be 9st or back to being in the 8's as am a short arse but I think I need to accept that as impossible dream (or at least an unsustainable one).

I am eating small portions of healthy food - lots of veg and green smoothies, NO CHEATING, no sugar, and doing lots of walking/C25K. I've been pretty hardcore over the last 3 weeks but can feel my resolve slipping.

Well done everyone on losses and NSVs.

Rogeliodelavega · 03/12/2016 21:58

This is how I feel and being a man it is worse( in my head anyway) I just need motivation lol that why I joined this site lol

Rogeliodelavega · 03/12/2016 21:59

What sort of diet were you on whilst doing it x

Mummyreindeerlegz · 03/12/2016 22:01

I vaguely follow slimming world. I stick to the main principles, 1/3 of each meal fruit / veg and restrict bread and cereal and dairy and fat. Lean protein / grains / veg unrestricted. I've lost over 3 stone, just had to make it sustainable in the long term.

NadoligLlawenAmser · 03/12/2016 22:43

Joining this lovely thread. Id love to lose 7lbs in December. Lets do this...haha!!

Rogeliodelavega · 03/12/2016 22:52

Right from tomoz I'm going to attempt the 30 day shred. I will post results lol

Mummyreindeerlegz · 03/12/2016 22:54

I did level one for around a week before moving up to level two.
