Sorry, being dense, what is KOKO Kiki ?

KikisDeliveryService · 25/11/2016 13:16

hairspray Keep on keeping on! A mantra for those times when you just gotta keep going even when you don't want to.

Ahhh I see Smile

I have vegetable broth for lunch, and a handful of pecans.

We are having fish tonight (I don't really like it so there is a chance I won't eat much) with steamed veggies... thrilling I know.

Not sure on our plans for the weekend but it will not involve any wine!

DoinItFine · 25/11/2016 13:28

I'm having my standard ham and cheese sambo for lunch.

No idea what will be for dinner. Off to visit my Dad.

BeyondTheHarpy · 25/11/2016 13:38

I had dairylea triangles on dark rye ryvita, with a chunk of cucumber. Couldn't be arsed to plan more than that! Grin

Dinner is salmon, the other half of the giant cous cous sachet I had yesterday, and a load of veg. I really fancy some sweet chilli sauce but don't have any, will have to add it to next weeks shopping

BitOutOfPractice · 25/11/2016 15:26

How is your dad Doin?

I'm just getting the train up for London for dinner and drinks with old friend. I've also been out for lunch.

Done absolutely fab totals for the month Grin

BitOutOfPractice · 25/11/2016 15:42

some absolutely fab totals for the month Confused

DoinItFine · 25/11/2016 15:58

My Dad was in good form when I spoke to him earlier.

He had a Very Important scan yesterday and was bemused that the consultant said he'd ring today to let him knkw the results to stop him worrying.

Apparently he wouldn't have been at all worried and was quite happy to wait until next week. Hmm Grin

Honestly!

I love him to bits. But seriously, everyone else would have been worried for a week on his behalf and he is just totally oblivious.

Anyway, the results were very good apparently. :)

What that means in practice is less clear.

KikisDeliveryService · 25/11/2016 16:15

Very pleased to hear that Doin Smile Even with the uncertainty, it's nice to have a small positive. My mum was on good form today too, it was lovely to see her like that.

Thanks, Kiki :)

I know what you mean about a good mood making all the difference.

HairsprayBabe · 26/11/2016 08:38

Morning all, 12.5 this morning that brings me to -9lbs for the month so far, visiting my parents this weekend so we shall see how steely my resolve is!
Excellent start to the weekend at any rate!

KikisDeliveryService · 26/11/2016 09:23

I dared a weigh-in this morning for first time in ages and was pleased to see I'm maintained rather than put on several stress lbs! Sometimes maintenance is a win.

BeyondTheHarpy · 26/11/2016 10:28

Woohoo, fab news Kiki!

I didn't weigh this morning, was brought breakfast in bed again so didn't have chance

BitOutOfPractice · 26/11/2016 10:55

That is a win in my book kiki. Well done.

And that's a brilliant total hairspray. You've done the thread proud.

My weekend has gone to hell in a handcart. Out in London with an old uni friend last night (really weirdly there was a massive power cut all through China town and soho. Really dark and eerie. Like something from a Jack the Ripper film). So that was burger and fries and much red wine.

Today I'm back in London for afternoon tea with some girlfriends with bottomless prosecco Confused

Just going to enjoy it and get back on the wagon tomorrow

QuimReaper · 26/11/2016 11:13

Hairspray you definitely win! Amazing loss, and you might even see another before the end of the month bringing it into double figures!

Doin your Dad sounds delightfully exasperating Grin So pleased to hear things are going OK and same to you Kiki.

I am SO envious BOOP! I didn't hear about the power cut, how extraordinary. Definitely just roll with this weekend and have a bottomless glass of Prosecco or two for me Grin

I am determined to have a good scale result next week after yesterday's blip. I'll probably do my final weigh-in for the month on Dec 1st and will be happy with 3lb for the month and delighted with 4... Fingers crossed!

QuimReaper · 26/11/2016 11:13

Beyond your DP is a star to be giving you this royal treatment! Absolute keeper! Glad you're so well cared for and on the mend.

BeyondTheHarpy · 26/11/2016 14:42

Tmi, I was bleeding a tad heavier than I have all week yesterday (still nowhere near heavily, don't worry!), so DH is paranoid and complaining about me knowing better than doctors and being out of bed.

QuimReaper · 26/11/2016 15:53

GAH! NSV!

I'm wearing the dress I wore for my birthday in 2014!

It's one if my "landmark dresses", been too tight to breathe in for absolutely ages.

Squee!

Smile
SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 26/11/2016 17:22

Well done Quim! That's amazing, it must be really encouraging too. Hooray for NSVs!

HairsprayBabe · 27/11/2016 08:06

Thanks Quim
You sound v well looked after Beyond Flowers for a speedy recovery.

I at my mothers and have weighed in on her generous scales, they seem to think I am 12.3 but I don't trust them enough to agree with that! BUT it would bring my total to 11lbs for the month so far!

BeyondTheHarpy · 27/11/2016 09:29

Yay quim!!

What's everyone's plans for December? I'm wondering how realistic it is to aim to keep losing for the first three weeks and maintain in the fourth?

BeyondTheHarpy · 27/11/2016 09:30

Thanks btw hairspray :) DH is being an absolute star

BitOutOfPractice · 27/11/2016 10:02

I think that's a good idea. I think we could aim to use the thread to try and not go too bonkers.

BeyondTheHarpy · 27/11/2016 11:51

I have for eg got a Christmas meal coming up... I have picked LC appropriate smoked salmon and prawns starter, veggie main (aubergine timbale) and a fruit tart pudding (I'm planning on eating the fruit and leaving the case, so it feels like ive had a treat but without going overboard). I'll drink sparkling water as I tend to do with most 'going out' meals.
I'm thinking that for any day like that, I will counter it with a 500cal fast in that week?

Bunnyjo · 27/11/2016 17:32

Well done 'losers'. Really great to see lots of positive posts.

I'm now 12st 2lb, so that's a loss of 1.tlb dance last week, 6.5lb for the month so far and 34lb in a little under 3 months!

Would love to see 11something on the scales in the next week or so and I'm hoping that December isn't too damaging scales-wise...
