Thank you, everyone. I know when I'm having a crap few days it really helps to see posts from others doing well.

BOOP, 4.8lb is superb and just remember - size 12 skinny jeans!!!

Sometimes, it's not the numbers on the scales that make the difference; it's getting into that size 12 like BOOP, or dropping inches off your waist like Hairspray.

However, seeing a fabulous loss, like Beyond's 14.8lb or Hairspray's 10lb is definitely something to celebrate. Well done, ladies!

WOW everyone, amazing losses! Congrats to Beyond and Bunny and again to Hairspray!

It stalls occasionally but then I get a woosh and I am off again, I take measurements as well if the numbers aren't dropping I have gone from a 36 waist to a 32.

I know you are supposed to have a four week break in between rounds but I just had a big blow out weekend (over halloween) and carried on from there.

My Aunt put me onto it, she had been diagnosed with fatty liver and wanted the weight off fast.

I have never really tried to lose weight before, I was slim till I went to uni and worked as a waitress in a famous spicy chicken shop a few years ago, I didn't realise how fat I had gotten until we moved house and I got a full length mirror!

Hadn't weighed myself since I was about 18 so was horrified to find I had put on over 5st! I have 2 and a bit more to go till I am back to that weight, but I would ideally like to be in the 9st bracket like I was when I was 16/17. I am only 24 and don't have kids yet so I feel like if I get into good habits now I can really make them stick!

It's very encouraging to see you are still losing such big amounts a few months in btw! Luckily I was expecting weeks 3&4 to stall

Same here hairspray - my dad is prediabetic and my grandad diabetic, but no sign in me yet. Apart from a bit of a struggle losing before, that (as my thyroid is fine) I was told possibly suggested insulin resistance.

I'm not veggie but do eat a lot of veggie food, so agree on the lentils! Visiting my sister when on biwis boot camp (indian veggie household) was nigh on impossible as all meals are pulses, rice and bread!!

Morning all still 12.4 but am happy with my 10lbs!

Beyond I am also BSD! I find it really easy tbh never very hungry loads of energy, I started in September and have lost 3st now! I don't do it for blood sugar reasons, just for the weight loss, and I don't count the cals religiously just keep them around 1000 and nix the carbs!

I love it as a veggie because you can eat pulses and most low carb diets sadly ban them!

Good morning!

kiki first of all, I am very happy to hear things are improving with your mom

bunnyjo your post made me really smile! very well done! What a transformation!

Betond that is an amazing loss! You've saved the thread! Grin

I am weighing in 4.8lbs lighter than 1 November. I'll take that as I've had quite a boozy sociable month

Let's get a new thread started!

Well done Bunny and Beyond, those are fantastic losses!

I am still stuck at just over -4lbs for November, so I am hoping that Beyond's theory is right and December is kind to me. Actually if I could lose another 4lbs in December (instead of gaining) I would be overjoyed!

I'm on the blood sugar diet, it all went off in the first two weeks and I've bounced around the same weight for the last two Grin

Justified over-use of exclamation marks in my previous posts there. So lovely to see success stories on the thread. I have been largely absent this month, December is tricky, obviously but I feel my motivation coming back to me so who knows what it will bring.

Beyond you speak truth. I am bloating myself up ready for a grand loss in the first couple of week in December. I have no need to stress-eat anymore as things are improving in the mum department, so I need to step up my game, get out running, stop eating crap. ALL OF THE THINGS.

Look at it this way - if you've had a bad end to November, your weight will be falsely inflated ready for your December weigh in, and it will look like you have lost more in December :)

Are we weighing in for the end of the month today or in the morning? Scales are cooperative today, I'm back down that 0.8 lbs, so loss is 14.8lbs since Halloween!!

Bunnyjo · 30/11/2016 08:01

Oh no, Quim and Kiki. As BOOP says, tomorrow is another month.

Woohoo to the size 12 jeans, BOOP. Congratulations on the 10lb loss and get well soon Hairspray.

I have weighed today as I'm not sure I'll have the chance tomorrow. I am now 12st 1.5lb which is a total loss of 7lb for the month - hurray!

I'm a measly 0.5lb from losing two and a bloody half stone and I'm officially overweight, not obese anymore! Oh and I can pull my size 14 skinny jeans up and down without undoing the button and zip. Today is an epic day Grin Three months ago, I was a very obese 14st 8lb, I felt awful and barely fit into my size 18 stretchy jeans. Today, I am no longer obese, ready to try some size 12 jeans and I feel fantastic!

Good luck to you all for the end of month weigh-ins, and apologies for not mentioning everyone. I'm definitely in the right frame of mind to smash December, now!

I have not been golden.

Or silver.

Or bronze. Or copper or tin or mud...

So, have we been golden today? I'm just off the treadmill having run 5km. I shall pay for it tomorrow
