I somehow managed to lose a pound or two this week.

Don't know how, but I'll take it.

Grin

Will there be a December thread?

I am no longer even pretending to try to lose weight this side of Christmas, but could do with support maintaining my weight until the New Year, when I will be back in earnest in January.

Now off to catch up with the thread.

Sorry for being so slack.

BitOutOfPractice · 24/11/2016 14:57

hello Doin!

I would very much like a December thread. I luffs you lot!

BeyondTheHarpy · 24/11/2016 15:36

I'm being careful BOOP, still in bed in between short walks downstairs. Not wandering the streets Grin

BitOutOfPractice · 24/11/2016 15:40

I'm glad to hear it Grin

DoinItFine · 24/11/2016 15:40

Beyond - you had an operation.

Belated Flowers

Glad to hear you are out the other side and already tracking your steps like a mad thing! :)

QuimReaper · 24/11/2016 15:52

Bloody hell Hairspray Shock You poor thing, you must be so uncomfortable! That's definitely going to affect the scale!

BOOP I do hope so but I didn't eat anything before weighing in, just had one cup of tea and one coffee, which isn't unusual for me pre-weigh in, and I'd just peed before weighing Hmm

I'm writing it off for now and secretly maintaining it was a dodgy scale and will try and put it behind me and hope for better next week. If I really have gained from just having two fast days instead of three (interspersed with the Very Naughty Tuesday) then that is spectacularly unfair.

I need to stop having Tuesdays "off" I think. 4 days a week of sensible eating and no booze is doable, but it has slipped to two or three in the last couple of weeks. I need to reign it all in until Christmas anyway, my bank account went like a yoyo this week as I got paid and then went mad on Black Friday sales Christmas shopping...

QuimReaper · 24/11/2016 15:55

Waheeeeeey Doin you're back!

So glad you're OK, and of course there'll be a December thread for however you choose to use it.

BeyondTheHarpy · 24/11/2016 15:59

Thanks doin :)

Gosh hairspray, I'd missed that! How's your fibre intake etc, has anything changed to account for it?

BitOutOfPractice · 24/11/2016 16:42

Does anyone have any spare halo polish? Just took DD2 out for cake and hot chocolate. I had a pot of tea and one forkful of her cake. I'm a saint. A saint I tell ya!

DoinItFine · 24/11/2016 17:17

Wow, BOOP.

That is most 😇

Completely beyond me at the moment.

Glad you are being careful, Beyond. :)

Quuuuiiiiiiiiiimmmmmmmmm 😗

BeyondTheHarpy · 24/11/2016 17:38

Wow, that is good. I'm having a 'treat' this evening too, as I'm missing wine night. I have a can of Diet Coke Grin

HairsprayBabe · 24/11/2016 17:40

Well I have.... ahem... been now. So we shall see what I weigh in the morning I think it was just a slowdown after my hangover on Sunday. I mainly eat vegetables, pulses and cheese and eggs, I didn't feel errm bunged up so to speak just didnt need to go!
Apologies for such a gross post!

BitOutOfPractice · 24/11/2016 17:40

Oh the blessed relief!

DoinItFine · 24/11/2016 21:13

Weight yourself now! Wink Grin

HairsprayBabe · 25/11/2016 08:04

I had just eaten dinner when I last posted so didn't want the results to be skewed!

Anyway, weighed this morning 12.7! Huzzah! And I will not drink loads of wine this weekend and ruin it! -7lbs for the month so far with 5 days to go!

I am optimistically thinking I might lose another lb or two before the bingefest that is December. I am really anxious about ruining all my good work but I know I know I have at least 10 days in december that will involve drinking and eating everything in sight, surely I can't do that much damage? Please God of calories!! Pleaseeee....

BeyondTheHarpy · 25/11/2016 08:39

Yay!! I've stayed the same this week at -14lbs... Today I have lost another 0.2lbs! :)

I have progressed from bed to sofa this morning, hoping to get 2500 steps today after getting just shy of my 2000 goal yesterday

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 25/11/2016 09:04

Well done Hairspray! And glad to hear you are recovering Beyond.

I have stayed the same this week, at 4lbs down. Annoying but I think I can chalk it up to a week of late shifts at work. I always end up eating strange things at strange times and sleeping badly. I also haven't managed any exercise at all, so I am dragging myself to a bodypump class later. I think I will also do a second fast day on Sunday, as I have only done one so far this week.

I'm hoping to lose another pound in these last few days so I can be down 5 for the month. Fingers crossed! Then not sure what will happen in December, would it be ridiculously optimistic to aim to lose a few pounds?

DoinItFine · 25/11/2016 09:29

Nice work, Hairspray, Beyond, and Spuriouser :)

Those are great November numbers.

I think December will be a different kind of month - so much temptation so much if the time.

My aim is to just not lose the run of myself entirely.

Have a good day everyone!

Good luck with your 2500, Beyond.

QuimReaper · 25/11/2016 11:04

Wow, everyone is clocking up such great losses! Well done losers, and terrifically angelic work BOOP!

Anyone seen Kiki around?

DoinItFine · 25/11/2016 12:33

Haven't seen Kiki for a while.

Hope she's OK and her Mum is well.

KikisDeliveryService · 25/11/2016 12:48

Hello, hello! I've given up entirely on the idea of losing weight but trying to get back into at least not just grabbing convenient carbs and getting to drips with meals composed of veggies and protein. It's a step in the right direction. And finding my way back on here of course (it dropped off my TIO list Blush ).

Mum is improving, slowly but steadily Smile

Well done to all those doing well, KOKO to everyone else!
