Thanks for the new thread Kiki. Hope you have your Brew now.

I would be over the moon to lose a few lbs anything this month. I am starting at 11st 5lb.

Happy MoSlender everyone! Wink

Howlongtillbedtime · 01/11/2016 08:12

Morning all !

Thanks for the new thread kiki. Great title .

I am starting off at a sad faced 13.4 and I really want to do 7 pounds in mo-slender but my first goal is to see 12 something on the scales .

Good luck everyone Grin

PlayingGrownUp · 01/11/2016 08:17

Definitely joining in. Not able to weigh myself as in the middle of IBS flare up but definitely need to start budging the weight!

BitOutOfPractice · 01/11/2016 08:18

Good morning.

Pinch, punch, the first of the month and no returns.

After my loss yesterday I am feeling as shiny and super as our lovely new thread

KikisDeliveryService · 01/11/2016 08:19

Yes, woken up a bit now ponygirl!

Officially starting at 10st 8 here (though actually 3lbs above that, ie the 3 lbs I clearly misplaced rather than lost last month) and I need to get properly active again after a sluggish and sickly October. This is my last day off before starting a new job and as soon as kids have left for school I'm going to do an exercise dvd and then I might take myself out on a long walk after breakfast.

I have been ditching added sugar and refined flour on weekdays and I will largely continue, though less strictly with bread products now as complete deprivation seems to send me spinning towards the toast on 'allowed days'. I will avoid snacky junk at the weekend.

In conclusion: keep eating healthily, don't go nuts at the weekends and boost up exercise levels.

I'm with pony, would be delighted to lose anything at all this month.

My goal is 4 lbs. Would like to be below 9st 7lbs by the end of Nov.

Hallowe'en s over now, so last night's Twix binge will be a one off.

Hope the IBS flare up doesn't last long, Playing. Sounds enough to be dealing with 😫

KikisDeliveryService · 01/11/2016 08:28

Hurrah! Lots of motivated people. WE CAN DO THIS! It's time to accept that it's colder and autumnal but no stocking up for winter and no hibernating!

Welcome playing, sounds rough but hopefully you'll feel better soon. Does weightloss help with IBS? I've read that 5:2 fasting helps some people.

howlong you got this! Only 5lbs to go.

boop I think I nicked the thread title idea from your BF! It's perfect Grin

Are you all following a particular plan or just losing weight your own ways? I really.dont want to weigh myself Sad

Glamorousglitter · 01/11/2016 08:40

I d like to join in. I ve been stuck at 10st9 since having baby no 3 last year. I m almost finished breastfeeding so hopefully that ll make it easier to shift the lbs. would like to be down 7 lbs for my birthday in Dec x

KikisDeliveryService · 01/11/2016 08:41

No particular plan Bronte, we're all doing our own thing. You don't have to reveal your weight on here, but it's worth keeping tabs on it in some way. I just like to have a space where I can talk about all the weight stuff without boring friends in real life!

KikisDeliveryService · 01/11/2016 08:45

Welcome glitter! We're stuck at the same weight though I do not have the recent baby excuse any more! Let's do this!

Hello :)

I'm on the BSD thread, but thinking the more threads I'm on, the more likely I am to stay on track. Weighing in today at 234lbs

I have IBS - lchf type diets help with mine. I think cutting onions out is a big part too, I have swapped to shallots for everything

Ethnam · 01/11/2016 08:46

May I join you please? weighing in at 12.13 so if I could lose 7lb I would be delighted. I try to eat healthily, always cook from scratch etc, but I think my portion control is useless.

BitOutOfPractice · 01/11/2016 08:47

Kiki the bf is rather chuffed at the honour of naming the thread Grin

bronte there's no need to declare your weight. I never have. I think everyone is doing different things. I am using MyFitnessPal to log all my food. I've lost 32lbs so far.

Just join in here and chat away. It's a very friendly bunch.

I've retreated back to bed after the school run to plan my food for today. After my loss yesterday I really really want to keep the momentum up

BitOutOfPractice · 01/11/2016 08:49

Welcome ethnam and glam. You are very welcome to join. More the merrier.

BitOutOfPractice · 01/11/2016 08:50

Hello beyond. What's the bsd thread? Sounds a bit rude Shock

FeckinCrutches · 01/11/2016 09:05

I'm in! Weighing in at 10st 11 this morning which I'm pleasantly surprised at, as I've gorged over half term. I'm going to do some kind of carb cycling diet as I'm doing a lot of running this month.

BeyondReasonablyDoubts · 01/11/2016 09:05

ParisGellar · 01/11/2016 09:07

Hello, I'd like to join in here. Weighed bang on 13st this morning and I've begun a new MyFitnessPal account in the hope this motivates me for a fresh start this time. Really feeling good, like I could stick to it!

QuimReaper · 01/11/2016 09:08

Wool woop new thread!

I have just had the longest, deepest sleep I've had in ages: guess my complete lack of energy yesterday was trying to tell me something!

Friend has cancelled plans for tonight and I'm trying to convince myself I should take it as an opportunity to have a Good Day; but having lined up wine and pudding in my brain I'm struggling with my resolve Confused

P.S. I think I'm being a bit dense, why the Mo in Mo-slender?

BitOutOfPractice · 01/11/2016 09:20

I think "mo" is an American slang way of saying "more" quim

Can you look on the cancellation as an opportunity to have a golden day?

welcome newbies. Yes we CAN do this.

QuimReaper · 01/11/2016 09:36

Oh, I was being dense! Mo' slender! I was thinking about moustaches Blush

Yes, I should definitely look at it that way, especially since over the weekend I was looking at my calendar in despair at the fact I had two nights out this week and didn't want to break my winning streak...

BitOutOfPractice · 01/11/2016 09:40

Go swimming instead?

I'm staaaaaaaaarving!
