I'd like to join please! 9st 10 this morning and goal is 9st so 7lb this month would be amazing. Might struggle as my weight loss has always been so slow, even when bigger. Will do my best though and already feel motivated by reading all your posts, esp you Kiki you sound like you've got it sorted!

Hi all, I'd like to join in too, if there's room! Weighed this morning, would like to be around 7lb lighter by Christmas and staying there. I'm great at the crash diet and weight loss for about a month, always creeps on and on again.

Have started a Zumba class every Friday evening, and dusted off the bike, holiday here so have done a gruelling 26 km ride, there were three pit stops on route, one included a low carb picnic but some wine!!

Love reading everyone's tips, and meal ideas.

Hairspray I am veggie. I did okay but put loads on in recent few years. Nowt to do with being veggie for me but I do think that meat gives more options for healthy meals. I need more inspiration in my life (and more time!)

purplepandapants, clearly we have similar taste in names. That confused me for a while [big grin]

I'm in! Done a few of these monthly threads before and always gave up. I won't know my weight until Thursday, and my access to a set of scales will be fairly irregular! Maybe I'll go by measurements for the time being.

My (vague) plan is to eat a healthy two meals a day (live in catered student halls with huge portions!) and try to fit in as much exercise as I can.

Hello all! I'm definitely in again this month - would love to see the scales continue moving in the right direction...

Good luck, everyone!

PANDAS EVERYWHERE! Bear

Welcome to all! There's room for everyone Smile

I wish I had it sorted ppp! I think I'm getting back on track after being in denial for a few months. I was so damn fit and lean this time 2 years ago (after a huge 50lb weight loss) and never thought I would back slide again.

I'm a bit late but I'd love to join. I have a LOT of weight to lose so am taking it slowly, but 7 pounds this month would be fantastic. I started calorie counting last week with MFP and have stuck to my target of 1500 most days, apart from Sunday... I had roast dinner and thought I'd be miles over but actually was less than 200 calls over! I lost a kilo in the first week so will probably stick with it. I like the idea that I can eat anything and not feel I've ruined my diet and will be falling for that chocolate mug cake I know (I'm gluten free so perfect for me!). I'm also doing a 16:8 fast most days, not sure if that's helping or not, but I naturally eat that way.

I've decided it's time because I have an injury that won't heal (torn tendon in right hip) along with a dodgy back and post-traumatic arthritis in my ankle. So exercise is tough but I have some physiotherapist-approved moves to do at home.

Today I had home made muesli and berries for breakfast, avocado and Philadelphia on rice cakes for lunch and leftover roast chicken with potato wedges and veg for dinner. And two pieces of Halloween chocolate Blush but still under my calorie limit by 29 cals... Now what can I eat for 29 cals? I do but jest, going to sleep instead.

Hello all!

I have a stone to shift before I feel happy with myself again so losing 7lbs this month would be lovely.

Reallt trying to battle my sugar addiction by going cold turkey, my other efforts failed terribly sorry this is the only way for me.

Awful fail last night after binge eating crisps and kit Kat chunky. WTF is wrong with me, I'm constantly self sabotaging with booze and food.

Draw a line Feck. (Typing that makes me want to shout Father Ted quotes Grin)
Today will be better. For me also. I consumed a lot of alcohol calories last night, I know that's what is stopping me losing. So I am restarting on daily MFP logging.

Yep, draw a line and crack on again today :)

I'm having to eat (not exactly lchf) muesli for breakfast as we are waiting for the shopping... I do get the no added sugar stuff though, so it could be worse!

I've been lurking here so I thought I would say hello. I realised recently that I have gained 18 lbs over the last two years, it's just crept on. I've been doing the 5:2 diet for a couple of months but barely lost anything, I think because I have been overeating on "normal" days. So I am going to start calorie counting on my "normal" days too, and generally up my exercise.

Today my goal is around 1800 calories (this is what mfp estimates would maintain my weight), and I will go for a (gentle) run later on. So far today have had two scrambled eggs on one slice of unbuttered toast (Sad) coming in at 300 calories. We'll see how it goes!

Hello new people! Welcome aboard!

I'm at the hairdressers getting a blow dry for my do today. Really struggling to do my own hair to a decent standard because of my bad shoulder (did I mention my bad shoulder? Wink) so I thought did it.

Another pound down today

Hairspray I weigh everyday as well, I'm sure I shouldn't though!

Today I've had a fried egg sandwich for breakfast - not ideal but it'll fit my calories. I'm having cup a soup at lunch and pasta bolognese for dinner with lots of veggies. I was 2lb down on yesterday today, so 5lb to go this month! Currently 12 stone 12 at 5 foot 3. Would like to get down to 10 stone initially and 9 stone ideally.

Morning all!

Have you picked a frock for tonight BOOP? Bet your hair looks spectacular!

I didn't take the opportunity to have a golden day yesterday, but I will today. Fast Day and hoping for a lot of steps. The bastard pool closes early on a Weds so it's going to be a one-swim week I think Sad

Will weigh in tomorrow morning and hope to have at least lost my gain from last week, but not too hopeful since I normally weigh on a Friday after three good days...

Man, it's such a stunning day today Smile

It's gorgeous isn't it? I'd rather be out walking than on a train to London. The do is lunchtime / afternoon then in to the pub. I don't think it'll be a golden day today

I'm in. I always say that and then instantly forget, but I feel like I still have the LAST Christmas weight gain to sort before we get to this one.

I have a big night out in 2 weeks so am aiming for 4lb off by then.

Starting today at 11s10lb. Sad

Will be doing this through fasting and walking.
