Morning everyone,

Apologies for ramblings! I managed to finish the day with booze included at 1500 so not awful for first day! Going to have a poached egg with avocado and chilli flakes but the weather is horrid so not sure plans for a long walk will happen.

What's everyone doing today?

StewardsEnquiry · 01/10/2016 10:13

Child birthday party here too so I have on my new Hush size 10 wrap shire and I've blow dried my hair. Not quite at the drop and run age yet so I'll be trying to avoid eating anything at said party. Luckily a reprieve for dinner tonight, can stay in after all so will be sticking to calories.

Yes, water is good to flush out salt but I am HOPELESS at drinking H2O. Diet coke is my absolute downfall. And coffee. I am a truly hopeless case!

Cinderbelly · 01/10/2016 11:38

Wow lots of birthday parties this weekend! I definitely struggled with not picking last weekend when we had ours, so I'm sending lots of willpower to you all.
I've almost recovered scales wise from last week, I'm astounded that it's taken me a whole week to lose two days of indulgence! No wonder I've got to this size, as before I was eating and drinking like that every day!
stewards I'm very jealous of your size 10s that's my dream.. I will get there one day...

Lolimax · 01/10/2016 12:28

One of the benefits of my DC's being 18 and 19 is that they'd rather not have me at birthday parties now. I can't think why though.

SesameSparkle · 01/10/2016 12:35

Hello all, sorry I'm not being a good girl and keeping up with the thread. But I am still reading a lot of it and cheering everyone along. Smile

Mfp tells me I weighed 10st3 on 29 August and 9st13 on 28 September, so that's a total of 4lb loss for September. I tend only to enter my weight when I drop down a lb rather than record every time I hot step, so it turns out I haven't got the first and last of the month written down.

Didn't weigh myself this morning, but I went for an Italian last night so I'm not expecting miracles.

Not2bObvious · 01/10/2016 12:45

I only record losses as well sesame, be too depressing otherwise but I do keep a note of everyday WI so I can see trends.
roar that was a good stab on the first day, hope the vodka was nice. I'm back from shop/drop/shop/drop/collect/shop...was ravenous! Brunch done, now kicking back for 20 mins before washing scruffy girl. I'm on the fence about Bob today, but it's early yet! If I do it around 4, I can then have a bath with a g&t and my audio book. Then a snooze then steak & 🍷 I'm liking the sound of that.

This is mine for the past month since I started, hot steps and all.. including the start of the month before I realised my scales were naff which is why there's a big jump

MFP thread 6
MustBeThin · 01/10/2016 18:02

Well done Sesame I only record losses too.

Been shopping today, bought some new pj's and 3 new jumpers all size 10s Grin I still can't believe it. I'm a bloody size 10 hahaha I haven't been a size 10 since I was about 16/17 or something it's frigging amazing picking up loads of tops in 10s n them all fitting perfectly or being roomy. I could have probably got away with an 8 in one of the jumpers but I like them baggy with my skinnies and ankle boots. Autumn/winter is my favourite time of year, I hate summer and summer clothes. Blush

Used to despise shopping, I found the whole experience depressing! It was awful trying clothes on in what was supposed to be my size and them being too tight Sad

Bathsheba3 · 01/10/2016 18:02

9 lbs loss cinderbelly - well done!

I gave up chocolate, biccies, pastries & cake for Sept along with alcohol. Remembered it was Oct, so had a big chocolaty biscuit things. Absolutely delicious. Needless to say I had another. That's 300 cals in my system in an instant, that I didn't need. Plus now taken me over 1200. Grrrrrrrr.

MustBeThin · 01/10/2016 18:04

Woo well done Cinder Star

Never mind Bath won't have done any damage. Tomorrow is a new day.

Bathsheba3 · 01/10/2016 18:05

Hurrah Must - so very pleased for you. I can feel your smile as you updated us! I hate clothes shopping too, and hate summer, for exactly the same reasons. Please reassure us that the pain denial is all worth it? Remind me what your starting weight was, and where you are now?

MustBeThin · 01/10/2016 18:15

Thanks Bath it's totally worth it. Grin

I was 13st 7 on the 4th January and I'm now 10st 7 been at this weight a whole month as I had a 10 day holiday.

I was a size 14-16 but mostly 16 and now I'm a 10 Grin

Lolimax · 01/10/2016 18:15

Oh can I show mine?!

MFP thread 6
Not2bObvious · 01/10/2016 18:22

Wow loli & cinder super work!
Shopping for clothes that fit without tears is an experience must, isn't it funny needing new pj's? I had a pair that fell off me although I think I'd stressed the elastic a bit
Well me & Bob had a session😉 It was hot & sweaty😂 Had a bath, now sipping a 🍷
Starving! Waiting for match to finish (sugar will know what I mean & dawg if about) before my dh wil peel himself off the sofa so we can eat. Managed with nothing since 12.15, feeling v in the zone. Is this how skinny people live🤔

Great to hear how everyone has done last month.
I've finished today at 1072. Feeling good. An done the first day of 30day shred. Thought it could be a good thing to do this month. How do people track the 30day shred on mfp?
Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Cinderbelly · 01/10/2016 20:32

Thanks everyone! I hadn't even realised that it was 9lb! Doh!
You guys are my 'thinsperation' lolli I wish my graph looked like yours Star although the reason I put the photo is that I quite like recording the small ups as they help me to stay on track.
must I remember your posts really clearly when I read through thread 4 before posting a month ago and you have done really well Grin

SesameSparkle · 01/10/2016 20:36

cinder 9lb is awesome!

must amazing to be a 10 - well done! I must admit I'm a bit Envy I love that I can try stuff on in any shop now, but I'm still struggling with fit as my hips are so narrow compared with the rest if me. I just posted a bra intervention thread in s&b and got a good response, I'm now wondering whether to post some sort of hip intervention....

bath I've had a sugary nut bar treat earlier and then a bag of crisps while I was out shopping. Both were not long after lunch so I didn't need them at all - so that's me an extra 300cal up today. Sad

loli did you really lose 10lb in 1 month? That's incredible!

Not2bObvious · 01/10/2016 21:14

But cora hoists one's pearls & adjusts busoms, ignoring the fact a sentence should never start with "But" one doesn't include one's exercise in one's calories to use. Joking! I would say 150 cals but I'm mean with exercise cals

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 01/10/2016 21:15

Oh I nearly forgot, go cora on doing the shred! It's tough but really worth it looking at people (sesame's?) results

Overtiredbackagain · 01/10/2016 21:28

NSV managed to creep back in my size 12 jeans - somehow?!

Long day and exhausted. Off to bed soon. What happened to my social life?? Confused

coragreta · 01/10/2016 21:48

I don't usually use exercise calories but I like to see what I've done exercise wise. It's also good if I accidentally go over I know not to be too hard on myself.
It was posts on this thread that inspired me to start. Would love to be able to recreate those results.

madein1995 · 01/10/2016 22:21

In at 1473 today which includes a few glasses of wine, also been swimming. Plan to go swimming again tomorrow. Well done everyone on the losses!

AprilLady · 01/10/2016 22:22

Hi all. Good day today, managed to resist birthday cake and keep to around 1200 calories despite going out for dinner. Sesame, my problem is the opposite of yours - very wide hips unfortunately! Have bought new dresses, tops and jumpers but avoided trousers as it's just too hard to find things that fit. Quite proud of my graph (which started around 3 weeks after start of diet).

MFP thread 6
SesameSparkle · 01/10/2016 23:34

It wasn't me that did shred.

April what a lovely line that is! I can't find trousers either. My hips are only 3cm wider than my bust. That's ok for a teen shape and wearing topshop jeans, but finding dresses, coats and even skirts, other than the stretchy ones, is a challenge.

Kitchen closed on 1580, so 80 cals under in the end.

Sugarandsalt · 01/10/2016 23:58

Hello everyone!

Hope all the birthday parties went well. Loli MFP talks to an app on my phone which counts steps. Not well done on your date with Bob. It will be worth it. I was most disappointed with the match; but at least it wasn't the crushing humiliation they usually get in the final. Dublin full of revellers tonight!

Everyone's graphs look really good. Must well done on your size 10s. I love winter shopping too, much better than summer. Over well done on the 12s! Sesame I struggle for the opposite reason to you- I have a narrow waist but HUGE hips/thighs. I have similar size and shaped boobs (28F and deflated++) to you though so I'm keeping an eye on your thread for advice!

Cora we can be shred buddies! I've done 12 days now. I enter it as circuit training.

As for me I'm not sure how today went. Got up and did shred first thing. Ate brunch (eggs/turkey rashers/veg) at 12 (300cals). Walked 16000staps around shops. But then went out for tapas- didn't drink as flying tomorrow early but ate lots. We will see how it pans out.
