10,000 steps is aprox 4miles.

Lolimax · 30/09/2016 19:32

Ha ha not! No I have both apps so I know how far I've actually walked but MFP does tell us our steps doesn't it? I didn't realise how shit it was until today. I think I need to invest in that new Fitbit flex 2 when it comes out as that's waterproof and I swim twice a week.

Dontyouopenthattrapdoor · 30/09/2016 19:42

I'm toying with asking for one for Christmas Loli. I also swim a lot.

Dontyouopenthattrapdoor · 30/09/2016 19:42

God that post was dull.

Sorry.

I'm brilliant really.

imwithspud · 30/09/2016 19:43

I am thinking about getting one too. A few people in my family have one, feel a bit left out!

Grin at takeaway not person.

Lolimax · 30/09/2016 20:04

Lol Don't! I like you Smile

roarfeckingroar · 30/09/2016 20:28

Good advice! I've just been for a run and row at the gym. Hunger has passed Grin good first day!!

Check in settings in mfp that it's linked to map, I think it needs to "pull" the info from something. I don't think it has a pedometer function

999 cals today. Want to get my own back at scales for not showing me an 11 this morning.

roarfeckingroar · 30/09/2016 22:26

Eek a few chips, two vodkas and two glasses of wine. Bye bye calorie deficit !!

Bathsheba3 · 30/09/2016 22:29

oops Roar - but it is Friday night. So long as you behave on Sat night, otherwise you will end up undoing all your good during the week in one weekend voice of experience

roarfeckingroar · 30/09/2016 22:35

Nah, I skipped dinner and tomorrow I'll swim it off! I went from drinking 5 days a week (work in corporate PR, central London, newly single, 28) to just Friday and Saturday

Not2bObvious · 30/09/2016 22:38

New record for a Friday me thinks, a smidge under 1500! Of course I barely moved all day so probably just cancelled out what I burned but progress yes?
Wow bath, I'd say your scales is sh*tting itself, give it hell in the morning😉

No clue on calories today but I enjoyed myself Smile ate less than usual though and didn't plan it - just stopped eating when I was comfortably full instead of carrying on and even left some dessert Shock had this garlic bread thing with mushrooms in a cheese sauce to start, steak, a few chips (they come in a tureen helpfully so you just help yourself), mushrooms, cheesy garlic bread, and chocolate cake for dessert with a kopparberg to drink. So probably highly calorific but well worth it. Am back on it 100% this week - am going swimming tomorrow, tuesday I have my physio exercise session, wednesday is aqua aerobics and I know I'll know go swimming again on friday so that's at least 4 times and in all honesty I'll probably go swimming on sunday or monday too Smile

roarfeckingroar · 30/09/2016 22:49

Vodka all round !! Grin

Sugarandsalt · 30/09/2016 23:55

Closing MFP at around 2500cals. I think. Had no breakfast, miso soup for lunch. Dinner and wine made up the rest Blush.

Not2bObvious · 01/10/2016 07:07

Hope you had a great night sugar, that's what visits home are for. Scales still the same as yesterday so I'm good with that. Most Saturday's I'm up anywhere between 1-2lb. Following the weekend plan so today's a brunch & steak for dinner day. Adding link for newbies to see, ways of maintaining weight over weekend/week days are weightloss days

1lb up exactly this morning after dinner out. I didn't go mad and left lots of main course because I was full. One glass of wine only. Restaurant food is salty!

I might have another dinner out tonight too so not holding my breath for a better weigh in tomorrow either.

Bathsheba3 · 01/10/2016 08:26

not venturing on the scales until I can be sure I am in the 11s. Have logged my day already, and I'll be just under 1000 again, if I stick to it. I was going to go for big walk today, but can't risk hair-frizz omg, what a crap excuse as I'm going out tonight. Volunteered to drive, so fizzy water for me. Boring.

Not2bObvious · 01/10/2016 08:40

I think you're v sensible bath about the hair, I destroyed my fabulous blow dry last week with that bastard Bob Harper workout AND I was going out. Gutted. I only get nice hair every 6-8 weeks & the blow dry lasts a good 3 days (yes I'm a scuzzy article every 6-8 weeks)
Busy day, shopping for birthday present, child drop off, shopping for more stuff, collect child/drop off other, food shopping, home, collect child, home, drop both off at party ...3 child free hours! So I get my reward in the end, although me & Bob may meet again😉

I thought you'd been into the hairdressers again this morning Not Wink! A busy day by the sounds of things - mind you it sounds normal for a saturday though. Are you on your own btw? No mention of a DH or DP. Mind you, by the time I explain, list, check, & go through it all again with my DH I am better off just doing it myself anyhow. Sigh. Hope you enjoy your hot date with Bob!

Not2bObvious · 01/10/2016 08:56

Oh yeah I forgot about him lol! To be fair he usually does all the drops/collects but today I'm doing them (although I'll prob outsource the last collect to him) as I've to bring the pair shopping. We have eldest dd bday party next week & need to buy crap for party bags which is outside of his area of expertise (and I'm renowned for my party bag prowess) and we need a present for the party that's on today.
Rest assured though, he's being put to work on laundry/hoovering/cleaning. Ain't no one getting a free ride in this house NOT a euphemism got conjugal

MustBeThin · 01/10/2016 09:23

Drink plenty of water today Steward will help get rid of yesterday/today's salt bloat.

Well done Not2b and Bath, you are doing so good sticking to 1000cals, especially at the weekend Grin you're going to kick Saturdays ass 💪👊 11s for you by the end of the weekend.

Fitterbysixty · 01/10/2016 09:27

Full day of running about there not2be, I'm glad to be past the age of parties.

lolimax mfp has to get the steps from somewhere, whether it's collecting them from a phone or a fitness app. I get about 4 miles (6.4km) to 10k steps but then I'm only 5' 4.5". If you're taller then you'll cover more distance in the same steps.

Monthly weigh in for me on Monday, my weeks and months always start on a Monday even if the calendar doesn't.
