Following on from June, July and August's threads, we're aiming to lose 7lbs.
(Posting as Rshard is still on holiday - hope you had a great time!)

All regimes welcome. Support and encouragement guaranteed!

My starting weight for September is 11st 5.25lbs. (I actually ended yesterday at 6.5lbs but the scales have jumped down again so I am having it!). That means I lost 5lbs in August. I found having this thread helped my focus and determination, if it helps anyone else, fantastic! Smile

Good luck everyone!

Hello everyone. I posted on this thread back on page 1 then forgot about it, now you've gone and half filled it. We'll done for all the losses. I did get drawn in to the 11,000 calories fantasising, but I think even I would struggle with quite that much food (although if you ditched the real food and just ate chocolate and sweets it would be easier to reach that amount without stopping to think too much)

I've lost 2 lbs this week. So that takes me to 2lbs lost this month as I didn't lose anything last week. I have lost 14.5 lbs since the start of august which makes me happy. My clothes all fit a lot better now, apart from my jeans which are now to long Confused which I assume is because they aren't stretched so tightly over my belly and bum and hang a bit lower on my hips.

Grin

Garfield, what a hero!

BitOutOfPractice · 18/09/2016 12:26

Oh ginge thanks for all that info. I need to pop to Sainsbury's later so I'll have a look.

Doin I'm glad I'm not the only mad one who does the marching thing Grin I hope tote ds is ok

I've lost another 2lbs. I am absolutely on a roll at the moment and I'm loving it.

What food have we all got planned today. This is me:
B: "fry up"
L: hairy dieter curried butternut squash and apple soup
D: sticky BBQ chicken with roast sweet potato and salad

BitOutOfPractice · 18/09/2016 12:27

And hello you are doing really well!

Helloheyhi · 18/09/2016 13:19

Starting sunday:- 13st7
Last sunday:- 13st3
Today:- 13st0

Whoooooo! Just got to at least maintain this for another week or so til the end of the month.

MegBusset · 18/09/2016 17:43

Well done Napqueen and other losers!

I have been a bit more relaxed this weekend as had a special occasion - had got down to 9st 2.5lb last week but up to 9st 3.5lb this morning, still 2lb down in two weeks and hopefully will get back down to 9st 2lb this week.

Had fish and chips yesterday so today is a light day :

Oatibix
Cashew and bean salad for lunch
Apple
Chick pea and lentil soup for tea

CarrieLouise25 · 18/09/2016 18:45

I walked into town to pick up 'Lean in 15' (there are 3 books. I got the one with the red cover - that's the one with the chicken pie in!).

Recipes look good, can't wait to try them.

Just did Jamie's Lasagne - way too many calories (1150) and it has nothing to do with my oversized portions - but I skipped lunch so feel justified Grin

GingerAndTheBiscuits · 18/09/2016 21:14

Had a PT session today after almost 6 months off heavy exercise. Let's just say taking the washing off the line earlier was an experience Confused

ponygirlcurtis · 18/09/2016 22:16

Might try and get it too Carrie. And not just to stare at Joe Wicks

Ooooo Ginger, I know that feeling. Ouch. Nice bath to help your muscles?

Spent the evening crocheting so I have been too distracted to even consider nibbling. Result!

Me too pony! What are you making? I'm testing a pattern for a friend then starting on the Stylecraft Carousel blanket

ponygirlcurtis · 19/09/2016 07:42

Ooooo I saw that crochet-along Ginger, looks beautiful but I am a total beginner - only started in the summer - and I don't want to overwhelm myself. Keeping an eye on it though to see if I can understand what to do. I mainly do granny squares, although I finished my first project recently, a cushion. Last night I started a slouch hat, probably for myself, and if successful I may try making them for Christmas presents along with the Attic24 neck warmer. Pleased with my efforts!

Have a good day everyone. Start of a new week. Smile

Oh wow that is so pretty pony very talented!

GingerAndTheBiscuits · 19/09/2016 09:11

That's lovely pony! You're right, it is a good distraction from eating and Candy Crush I feel much more relaxed since I've picked my hook up again after a long break.

What's one thing we're all going to do this week to keep moving in the right direction? For me it's going back to a circuits class I used to go to all the time but have been too lazy for the last 9 months!

BitOutOfPractice · 19/09/2016 10:20

Morning!

Ginge I'm going to really try and drink lots of water this week. It's the one thing that's slipped a bit

Food planned for today:

B: half a bagel with scrambled egg and a rasher of bacon (was lovely)
L: hairy dieter curried butternut squash and apple soup (didn't eat it yesterday)
D: hairy dieter bang bang chicken salad

I may go the gym as well.

I am determined to get to my first big goal (healthy bmi) by Christmas (I have 1.5stone to lose I thgink that's do-able)

pony I love that cushion - can I order one in teal tones please?

QuimReaper · 19/09/2016 11:24

BOOP you are absolutely nailing it, well done!

I had wine, pizza and Bridget Jones last night Grin Fast day and a swim today, determined to see the 56s on my Wednesday weigh-in!

pony did you make that?!

I should take up something non-screeny like that, I think it would help me chill / sleep.

GingerAndTheBiscuits · 19/09/2016 11:32

Quim sadly I find it has the opposite effect - you spend half your night thinking "just one more row/round" and before you know it it's 2am...

QuimReaper · 19/09/2016 11:34

Ginger Grin Sounds addictive but surely in a good, productive way rather than a wasteful screentime way?

Or do you go to sleep and just dream about tangled wool and tiny stitches?

GingerAndTheBiscuits · 19/09/2016 12:12

You do that head-bopping thing as you doze off and almost stab yourself in the eye with a crochet hook. Who knew it was such a treacherous hobby!

Helloheyhi · 19/09/2016 14:26

Well all my best intentions to give up the crisp went to pot! I have already eaten one two and it's only 2.23pm! Grrrr!!
Good luck getting back into the circuits ginger, assuming you will be sore so a nice soothing bath is recommended for you! Sounds like a fun evening Quim, enjoy your swim!

BitOutOfPractice · 19/09/2016 15:16

Damn those crisps hello

Crisps are my downfall too

Helloheyhi · 19/09/2016 15:30

Do you have any tips on how to give them up? Grin
I have been trying for many many years!!

BitOutOfPractice · 19/09/2016 16:07

Literally the only way I can avoid eating them is to not have them in the house I've just eaten a bag of frazzles

Helloheyhi · 19/09/2016 16:15

Grin that just made me laugh lol my kindred spirit!
I have tried doing that but I just end up buying them on my way to work.
I hear the crisps calling my name, I clearly have no self control Grin
