Following on from June, July and August's threads, we're aiming to lose 7lbs.
(Posting as Rshard is still on holiday - hope you had a great time!)

All regimes welcome. Support and encouragement guaranteed!

My starting weight for September is 11st 5.25lbs. (I actually ended yesterday at 6.5lbs but the scales have jumped down again so I am having it!). That means I lost 5lbs in August. I found having this thread helped my focus and determination, if it helps anyone else, fantastic! Smile

Good luck everyone!

Good luck anyone weighing in this morning who has had a less than saintly weekend. I'm predicting a pound back on for me but hopefully it'll go again by mid week. I'd lose weight so much faster if I could be restrained on the weekends!

Dyrne · 12/09/2016 08:36

Weighed in today and I have lost a grand total of 100g since last week! Blush I know I was lower during the week, that'll teach me to have a heavy weekend! Hopefully it's water weight and it'll come off after a few days of being good.

Oh well, a loss is a loss...

GingerAndTheBiscuits · 12/09/2016 09:07

Weekends are really hard. I'm doing 16:8 intermittent fasting and at work I find morning flies by before I even register it's time to eat; at home I'm staring at the clock! Husband cooked a big Mexican feast with tonnes of cheese on Saturday and I enjoyed every mouthful Grin but back to it today - salad for lunch (well, kind of. The closest I get to salad for someone who gags at the sight of lettuce) and veggie chilli for tea. I may have overdone the 'chilli' component so not sure how much I'll manage to eat. Was back in the 12st bracket again this morning, just barely, so hoping for another lb off by "official" weigh in on Thursday. Also went for first (very short) run in 3 months last night and survived. Just have to get motivated to keep getting out there in the dark...

Here's to a healthy week all!

DoinItFine · 12/09/2016 09:18

Hi everyone,

Had a very active weekend doing a race and a training run. Largely stuck to my calories too.

Have been off booze but was drinking Saturday night, so that won't have helped.

Oh well. We'll see how the scales look on Thursday.

Well done everyone. 🎖 We're getting there.

twobambinos · 12/09/2016 09:32

First week done and dusted and I'm down 2.5 lbs. Weigh just under 9St 8.5lb and back in the Healthy bmi absolutely delighted. I tried to make healthy choices and not eat as much junk food so I think it went OK. This week will try to drink more water and up the exercise.

Apple with peanut butter for breakfast and have a salad sandwich for lunch. Not sure about dinner yet.

Keep up the good work every one.

BitOutOfPractice · 12/09/2016 09:33

Morning! Hope you've all had good weekends. Well one weekend each

I am pleased to report another 3lb loss. No idea how really though as I had a boozy night this weekend. I did manage to finish a 5km race though - first one for years!

That's 6lbs off so far in September and I am tantalisingly close to the next stone bracket!

BitOutOfPractice · 12/09/2016 09:34

Well done two! Healthy BMI with a bit to spare is my goal too though I still have another two stone to go Sad

Helloheyhi · 12/09/2016 09:35

That's an amazing loss BOOP , you must be feeling great after the run as well!

Well done everyone. Here's to a good week for everyone Flowers

Helloheyhi · 12/09/2016 09:37

Two what a great feeling to get back into the healthy bmi. That was my first aim too.

Helloheyhi · 12/09/2016 09:41

Keep chipping away at it BOOP and you will get there by the end of the year. You are doing great Flowers

BitOutOfPractice · 12/09/2016 09:45

Thank you hello

I've already lost 1 stone 10lbs so I'm almost half way there and still really focused. I feel like I have really made changes to the way I eat / think about food rather than being on a diet so I think and believe I can do this now! Smile

I' reading success stories on MFP forums now to get me focused for the week

Helloheyhi · 12/09/2016 09:57

That's a solid loss BOOP, of course you will do it! Your belief and focus will carry you through the other half. I also like the success stories of MFP, really motivating.

Helloheyhi · 12/09/2016 10:00

Slightly off topic, does anyone know of any vitamins or serum or anything to prevent hair loss? I am losing too many hair and getting a bit desperate!!

twobambinos · 12/09/2016 10:01

I was only 1/4 pound outside the Healthy bmi but it was definitely the motivation point. I want to be at the midpoint for the bmi or close to it because even though I'm in the Healthy range now I still feel im carrying a few excess pounds. Can't get away with much at 5ft 2 at all.

Well done bitoutofpractice on the loss and the run. I'm a bit of a runner too but I find it makes me eat more so doesn't help with the weight loss for me grrr.bring on the next stone bracket for you.

BitOutOfPractice · 12/09/2016 10:13

Thank you all. It's so nice to have somewhere where people understand and encourage! Flowers

DoinItFine · 12/09/2016 10:14

6lbs already BitOut?

Wowsers.

That's fantastic.

Well done, twobambinos. I know what yiu mean about wanting to be the middle of the healthy BMI range. I was getting up near the top, and I don't look good there.

BitOutOfPractice · 12/09/2016 10:38

Do I win the thread so far doin? Wink

DoinItFine · 12/09/2016 10:47

LOL Grin

No, we all win.

This is a collective effort.

My 1lb, your 6lbs, all into the same pot we can be equally proud of. 😂😂

MsHeffalump · 12/09/2016 11:10

Nice one, BOOP! I'm chucking 7.8lbs into the pot. Frankly astonishing, as FIL has descended upon us this weekend and keeps taking us all out to eat.

DoinItFine · 12/09/2016 11:16

MsHeffalump - have you just lost the guts of a stone in a week and a half? 😮

BitOutOfPractice · 12/09/2016 11:20

I was hoping for a sticker at least Wink

MsH that's amazing! Great stuff!

DoinItFine · 12/09/2016 11:27

Here's your sticker.

There's one for everybody.

KatoPotato · 12/09/2016 11:29

Can I please join?

Lost just shy of 5st on a MN weightloss board, then got pg with DS2 and now need to lose 10lbs to get back to where I was, with a further stone t shift to get to my target weight?

we had a spreadsheet and everything, that I'm happy to recreate if and when everyone would like such a thing?

Currently 71.6kg and 5ft 5.

mfp as katoabes if anyone wants to join me?

DoinItFine · 12/09/2016 11:52

Welcome, Kato :)

Grab a sticker!

10lbs not a big gain in pregnancy.

5 stone loss is amazing.

Well done!

How old is DS2 now?

Skala123 · 12/09/2016 11:53

Wow that's amazing losses everyone!! I was dreading this mornings weigh in as I ate badly this weekend. Decided to put it off until now and after a smoothie for breakfast and then a weights session plus 5 mile run I am another pound down! Not exactly a true weigh in as I always weigh less after a run but it's spurred me on for the rest of the week!
Have decided to stop mfp for a few days and focus on clean eating instead. Feel like the calorie counting was making me anxious and obsess too much about food.
