Well done everyone, it's so encouraging to read your successes!

Starting day 4, scales haven't moved an ounce but considering AF yesterday, that's amazing in itself! I don't feel at all bloated, in fact my stomach has definitely gone down 😁

And best of all, no wine, although I could have killed for a glass, I battled through and feel so much better for not failing x

Well done guys.
Hot stepping shows a 2lb gain. Wtaf. I was really hoping to reach reward by my actual weigh in tomorrow!
Should finish the day on 1291. I'm also going for a run (with a friend so will actually go today) so hopefully I'll be at reward by Monday??

Also my meal plan for today made me realise how much I used to eat. We are having tarts and I would have had a third. Have to eat a 6th to come in at 1291! No treats today.

Was it last night you went out cora? It's just undigested food/fluids etc. Unless you did have 11,000 calories of course😉
May just take 2-3 days for it to work its way through, stay low cal today if you can

Struggling with PMT hunger/sugar craving today, but made a much lower sugar version of these cookies to have as a later breakfast when a friend came over for coffee this morning, which has me feeling nicely satisfied. Almost 500 calories for two really big cookies, but better than 650-700 on even more sugary stuff I suppose, and it was in place of breakfast. Have planned out the rest of the day and still hoping to come in well under 1,500.

Ooh those cookies sound delicious hope, how much sugar did you put in & do you think they were sweet enough? My kids hate raisins but I love a raisin cookie so might make them safe from little nibblers😉
If you can stick to 1500 on a craving day, that would be excellent. I'm starting to feel a bit peckish but will try to hold off eating until after 1pm, might go for a hobble walk around the shops. 4 hours to my next pain session, although I might feel better after it (ever the pessimistic optimist)

On & off - fitness blender/Jillian/Davina - anything is better then nothing. I always try to walk as a minimum. You'll remember from bsd keep that MM recommended 10,000 steps a day & hiit 2-3 times a week for optimum results. Good for the body, good for the mind. You thinking of starting something?

Evening all! Been a paragon of virtue today. Even took my own bowl of salad to a meeting (where the buffet laid on was all carb heavy sandwiches etc), and and have finished the day at 1100.
And I ventured back to Spin in my new padded cycling shorts. Didn't hurt half as much and hopefully I wont be doing my John Wayne impression in the morning. I'm holding out for a lb loss when I step on those scales so fingers crossed for me?

keep I do ashtanga yoga every morning. Not with a DVD, but similar sort of thing. I have done Insanity before, which was incredibly effective, but I don't fancy doing it again ever.

Ended up somewhere between 1,500 and 1,600 today, which is fine, given that 750 of them were cookies at various stages of the day Grin. not I put about 70g of sugar in, and used wholemeal flour. TBH I could have cut it more - the spices and raisins make them feel really sweet anyway.

I've closed the kitchen at 1350cals, 14500 steps and day 4 of the 30day shred. The scales is stubbornly not moving though. Here's hoping the effects become apparent next week!

Hi everyone, and thanks for the good lucks’s yesterday Smile I think it went quite well so fingers crossed! In at 1232 yesterday and 1233 today. Had beans on toast and a cuppa for breakfast (325 calories). Lunch/tea was cottage pie, mixed veg and bisto gravy (420 calories). Had 4 dairy box chocolates (200 calories) and a cup of tea (8 calories – I’ve stopped taking sugar in my tea now lol) and just had bowl of porridge, semi skimmed milk and a level tbsp of Nutella for supper (280 calories). Not a brilliant day but not awful either, I’ve done some weights work too! Bit of an emotional day at placement and also I fancy ALL the wine and chocolate but I know I’m not actually hungry and keep reminding myself to think of the calories. I’ll allow myself a few glasses tomorrow seeing as its Friday.

I delighted your exam went well made and amazing restraint on the calories today - I'd probably have celebrated that I felt the exam went well with the whole box of chocs and a bottle of wine!
Second bc class was pretty tough, I was a wobbly mess but 2 down and done til Tuesday. I'm in a real pmt fug and have had a nibble fest, with wine, and then a rant at dh who is just on my bad side - yep the witch must be imminent. And this is why I do b2b pills normally - fool, I'm a fool to take a break😩 I have no confidence in seeing a loss in the morning. Great, I'll be like a lightening b*tch again.
Right, I've moaned enough into your ears ladies. Thanks for "listening", sleep well😉

Hello everyone!
Just a quick post from me. Haven't had time to read everyone's updates sorry.
I've been away on a work conference for a few days (and I think I have probably undone all my hard work over the last 3 weeks in cake and champagne Blush Sad )
It's too late to weigh now as I've just got in and am soooo tired and hungover I'm heading straight to bed, posting now as the thread has dropped off my 'threads I'm on' page where I haven't posted in so long, I will check back in tomorrow. Night

cinder hope today's weigh in isn't too bad! A lot of it will be post alcohol/carb bloat, so don't be too alarmed.

not fingers crossed you'll actually be able to walk when you get up this morning Grin.

Down to 10.2.9 this morning, which is the same as my low of exactly a week ago. which is lovely, but was expecting AF and bloat, so am more irritated that my PMT rage won't be leaving yet than I am pleased about the loss! Also we are away again this weekend (Legoland, which I suspect is a spiritual home of crap burgers and fizzy drinks), so I'm going to have to really keep my focus on in order to avoid gaining a ton and a half. We are taking a dinner picnic in the car this evening and hopefully a packed lunch tomorrow, to minimise the expense and crap food intake.

I've managed to put on a bloody lb not loose it! Absolutely gutted! I don't get periods so it can't be that and I've been so good all week!!
I've even started having chia seeds in my oats which have given me the runs....
