In at 1845 today Blush very busy day so been grabbing food here and there and not had much chance to do exercise or go swimming, have walked 6000 steps which is good going for me. Going to do some sit ups and weights later on.
Can't swim tomorrow but am going to fit it in on Thursday and Friday - even if it will mean me getting up earlier to do so. Physio went well - my knee is improving very slowly Smile and am also going to start volunteering in a refuge this week so that will keep me occupied.
Tomorrows plan is -
Get up around 11am and have a cup of tea - mum will be cooking lunch for 12 most prob so not much point in eating breakfast. Lunch will be cottage pie, mixed veg and gravy (530 cals - she uses a slimming world recipe). Will prob have a banana afterwards. Have an evening class so will probably have a go ahead bar for a snack on the bus there, and will then have soup and bread once I get home @ 9pm. Should be 1129 calories then.

I am laughing at the baggy bras because I am currently wearing what I bought as a sports bra. I no longer fill out the cups and I'm on the final set of hooks. I bought it at the end of May so I can see that some of the two stone odd has gone from above my waist. I've lost five inches off my hips but that's ok as when I rummaged in my wardrobe I found three pairs of new with tags trousers that I had no recollection of buying. Although they are all the same size in the same brand they are different enough in styling that I've shrunk into them one pair at a time. Today I tried on the final pair and they fit now. Yes, I am still a size 22 but it's better than the 26 that I started at. Some of my pants have been retired because they fell down but I have a huge pile to go at in varying sizes so I should be good for months.

Today has been a better day because I started with porridge. I have enough calories left for a glass of wine with dinner so I should really raise my rear from this settee and go and make it.

Bathsheba3 · 20/09/2016 20:57

Star to celebrate Fitter's pants round her ankles Grin. Keep up the good work !!!

Sugarandsalt · 20/09/2016 21:18

Hope I hope the social event was enjoyable. And if you had cake I hope it was good (it's such a waste when the calories aren't at least tasty!). I'm also finding it easier now DD is a bit older. How did the toilet training go by the way?

Well done Not. I've just done day 2 of the 30 day shred. With weights. I think the pain I was in today will pale in comparison to tomorrow. May take an anti-inflammatory going to bed.

Made 1845 isn't disasterous, shouldn't cause a gain anyway.

Fitter congrats on the smaller trousers!

Kitchens closed here at 1302 calories, 13500steps (new job has me running between a few sites so is great for my pedometer!) and 30day shred. I hope I'm not in too much pain to complete shred tomorrow! I have a social event in October and a big presentation at a conference in November so I want to lose some and tone up some before those.

Wallywobbles · 20/09/2016 21:18

Bit of a break though today. I went riding today and both horse and I found trotting easier than usual despite him having a huge tummy! I didn't have thigh burn at all. So that's really encouraging.

Down 14kg in 8 weeks exactly. That's 2.2 stone.

Started looking for a size 14 evening dress for posh 80th party in a months time. Anyone know where I should look?

Sugarandsalt · 20/09/2016 21:19

Sorry made I just saw what I said and I meant in relation to your embarrassed face! I'm glad physio is going well, I hate physio (have had a lot of it over the years) but they are miracle workers when good.

Fitterbysixty · 20/09/2016 21:24

I finished at 1300 on the nose today (including the glass of wine and then the second one as well). I ignored the exercise calories because I don't exactly get sweaty from walking. I'm considering joining a gym, maybe after I've taken another half a stone off my knees - certainly after buying a new sports bra that fits.

Perhaps I have one of those stuffed in the back of the wardrobe as well?

madein1995 · 20/09/2016 21:45

Yay fitter you'll be a skinny minnie in no time!

overtired hello and welcome Smile think it's amazing you trying to lose weight with a small child - I find it difficult enough now, I can't imagine doing it with a baby!

not I'm glad you enjoyed, it sounds really good!

sugar thanks, I'm hopeful it won't cause a gain, I feel quite 'bleurh' now anyway so think eating proper food will be a nice treat for myself haha!

wally that's bloody fantastic, well done! Flowers I think most high street shops have good stuff for size 14's - Monsoon has some lovely stuff but is quite pricey, I'd love to go mad in there! Evans is also really good - it's not just old fashioned stuff but perhaps a bit pricey, you can get the same sort of stuff on the high street for less. I always find New Look to be alright and generous on the sizes. Debenhams is my favourite shp for dresses, such a wide range for all sizes and prices, they've got some decent sales on atm.

Not2bObvious · 20/09/2016 22:16

I love phase eight wally, I think they're in debenhams & house of Fraser? They do some super flattering dresses, I have 2 that I love. Not mad mad money but a little pricey, feels like quality though.
sesame I keep meaning to shout out congratulations! 9'something, you must be floating, fantastic😁

Lolimax · 20/09/2016 22:17

Well...I lied to MFP tonight to complete my diary as I'd only eaten 900 calories and didn't want anything else but it's ok because it lies to me all the time about what weight I'll be in 5 weeks time lol!
But liars are always found out and within 10 minutes of doing that and climbing knackered into bed DH rings from work on nights to say he's hurt his foot and can I take him to A and E. So here we sit with the interesting evening crowd. I fear it could be a long wait!

madein1995 · 20/09/2016 22:26

aww loli I hope your husband is ok and that you don't have too long a wait, and that it's not too serious Smile do you have work in the morning? If so and you don't get in til early hours don't feel bad if you phone in sick - no point going in if you're really tired. On the plus side at least it's not a Friday night so probably less drunks!

Lolimax · 20/09/2016 22:41

Thanks Made. I'm meant to be in at 7 but can go in later. Ringing in sick isn't an option. There's a 2 and a half hour wait but apparently in the larger hospital it's 7 hours so I think we'll count our blessings!

Sugarandsalt · 20/09/2016 22:46

Wally well done! The high street has loads of choice at a size 14. What body shape do you have?

Fitter a good sports bra is a must. I need a new one myself actually, the 34G one I've been bearing is fairly massive on me now.

Loli hope your husband is ok, and that you aren't too long in A+E. If there is a minor injury unit it might speed things up. MFP lies to me about my weight in 5 weeks too.

loli thanks, hope Zumba helped to dispel some of that rage? Hope your dh will be OK and you don't have to spend too long in a&e.

sugarand thanks, I now have 4 dresses in my size, plus another 2-3 I'm still wearing although they are too big. A new bra is next on my list - probably a nude versatile one.

hopefully yes you can totally ditch that last 3lb and join me as a fellow 10 stone-er - I could use the company Grin Have taken some of the offending bras out the underwear drawer now, and as also threw some size 14 knickers in the bin for good measure....

not well done you - you are hard as nails!

cora, keep and sugarand well done for today's count. I had enough calories left for some dark chocolate squares with almonds. It tasted so good I had to help myself to another row, and then managed to finish 24 cals over.... Hmm

made glad your knee is on the mend. What is it you're doing at evening class?

fitter yes we need to burn our baggy bras.... Wink

coragreta · 21/09/2016 04:45

I was going to suggest John Lewis too.
I'm going out dinner tonight and since I know what I'm having I've logged it and will definitely come in at 2000 with no time to exercise. Really hope that I can stick to goal Thursday and hope for a small loss on Friday morning. Does that sound possible with 2000 today?

Hopefully · 21/09/2016 04:49

loli hope your DH's foot is ok! Also, 900?! That's really not a lot! I can't remember what you're regularly taking in, I assume that's a one off low day? It's so hard to get all the vitamins, minerals and protein you need for good health at consistently below

Overtiredbackagain · 21/09/2016 06:30

Second successful day yesterday, came in 50 calories under my allowance. And no wine Grin DD slept better, which means I had a better night too.

Busy day ahead in the office as boss is back from Miami, which means no lunch hour but I have a salad made up ready.
Hope everyone has a good day!

Not2bObvious · 21/09/2016 06:44

Little pickers wear big knickers, skinny chicks wear skimpy knicks😉 That's my new mantra, ahh yeah the curse of the baggy bloomers! It's a strange sensation isn't it? Well enough about under garments, as predicted I'm like Lego this morning, aka in bits. Funny how trying to get fit can make you move like an arthritic 80 year old. Good news from the hot stepping, down to 11.4 from yesterday's 11.5.2 and 2 days of good behaviour to get the scales under last Friday's 11.2.6 - we'll see. The aim for September was to break into the 10'something bracket. 2 weigh in's to go. loli I hope your dh is ok?

Not2bObvious · 21/09/2016 06:49

Just saw your update over, that's really good about 2 successful days, and brilliant that your little baby slept well - it's no great surprise sleep deprivation is a form of torture! My eldest was a dreadful sleeper, I think she's ingrained the 4-5am wake up's I frequently have.
cora have a lovely night out, if you have a nice low cal day tomorrow (soup days we used to call them) you could negate any extra's today and see a loss Friday but don't be too worried if it doesn't happen Friday - it'll happen with all the hard work you're putting in

Bathsheba3 · 21/09/2016 07:13

Another 1lb down from yesterday, so I'll take my official loss for the week at 1.5 lbs. Very happy with that. Only 4 more to get into the 11s. End of Sept may be too ambitious, but determined to give it a go. No exercise as very busy with work this week - but will up the exercise next week.

Sugarandsalt · 21/09/2016 08:02

Hope I admire your willpower having only a biscuit. I find social situations make it hard to decline food. Overtired sleep deprivation is a definite trigger for me to eat, and makes me want fatty carby foods. DD was a terrible sleeper from 6-18months and I was zombie like, but since just before 2 she sleeps 11-12hours straight and it makes a huge difference.

Not2b sounds like we are in the same state today. Getting out of bed really hurt! I have to go to 3 different sites for work today so hopefully all the walking will help stretch things out. Otherwise I have no idea how I'll manage day 3 of the shred. Jillian keeps telling me that if I just push through I'll definitely look like the girls in her video by the end...

Bath well done! I'm not getting back on the scales again until weekend but I'm also hoping to get back into the 11s by the end of September.

Not2bObvious · 21/09/2016 08:04

That's really good bath, 10 days to go to for us to get into the next stone - we've around the same to lose (well 4.2 will get me there) So if the maths worked and weightloss was fair which it isn't we would need to eat 1200 a day but burn off 2600 for the next 10 days. Feck...

Bathsheba3 · 21/09/2016 08:17

Final push then not. But I haven't forgotten we started at the same place way back last year, and you stuck to it. How many calories to burn to shift the extra stone ? Wink

Lolimax · 21/09/2016 09:24

Morning! No weight loss to report yet but I'm aiming for another lb by the end of the week. Finally got in at 1am so 3 hours in A and E. They think it's Plantar Facilitis (sp) which makes sense as DH has suddenly taken up golf again after being very poorly and had put on loads of weigh due to horrible steroids.
So I'm like a dead duck today. No exercise apart from a long walk with the dogs after work but am going to the pics later with the girls and DD to see Brigit Jones which will be a nice treat.
And thanks for the chia recipie with my overnight oats, very nice!
