Not. I've gone to a long bob length. My hair was sooooo long. I liked it when I left the hairdressers but am now panicking that it's too short. At least it's not as limp and lifeless as it was before.

1176 today including a cheeky chocolate bar. Fingers crossed for a bigger loss next week.

Callmesausage · 16/09/2016 20:34

Thanks Not. It's stupid, eating shit isn't going to make anything better, so pissed off with myself now too. Thanks for the encouragement, have a good weekend.

madein1995 · 16/09/2016 21:39

Ok ish day today. Burnt off 400 calories (aqua gym and swimming - 7 lengths today so progress, and sit ups and weights) so although I've had 1551 today, I'm not over because of exercise calories. Will be back on it tomorrow. Breakfast was toast and a glass of milk, lunch was leftover pasta from last night. I've snacked on half a bag of mint aero bubbles, and tea was fajitas with homemade chips (in oven so healthy ish). Also having a glass of wine. Stess has been a contributory factor - the dwp lot messed up my universal credit and while I don't have rent etc to pay I do have bills which has led to a bit of stress eating. Luckily my dad has offered to help me out til things get sorted, and I'm happy I stopped when I did rather than going all out. Swimming again tomorrow afternoon, I'm going to try and improve by 1 length every session so will aim for 8 lengths tomorrow.

Lolimax · 16/09/2016 21:48

Last night in the caravan and I haven't been good- up to 1450 calories which is high for me. I'm dreading weighing Sunday morning but I've had a lovely week with DH (and no kids!!!) and in fairness I've swum and walked loads so I might have balanced it all out. This time last year it would have been all cakes, chips and wine, how times change!
The best news would be to be 13 stone 9- that would be a lb loss and my 2 and a half gone. But if not now it won't be long.
Made- you'll be surprised how quickly you build up stamina, keep at it.
On my phone so can't see the rest of your updates. Have a fab weekend all.

Hopefully · 16/09/2016 22:38

call try to forget about today - it's not going wrong one day that matters, it's carrying on with eating sensibly the next day each time.

loli it sounds like you've done brilliantly on holiday. Even if you haven't lost, you have kept on track really well.

Kitchen closed at a net of 1250 after 250 cals burnt walking, which I think is the closest to netting 1200 I've ever got! Those calories were all made up of terrible carby food though, so I will be shocked if I am greeted with a loss tomorrow.

Not2bObvious · 16/09/2016 23:51

I'm scared to mfp my misdemeanours😱 Ah well tomorrow's another day, Friday's don't count do they😕

Not2bObvious · 17/09/2016 08:22

I did my confessional on mfp and just under 2500 cal, 1000 cals of that on snacks! Crikey. I'm up 1lb from yesterday but that's to be expected, ate loads of salty snacks. I had bought corn snacks for party bags and subsequently decided they weren't quite the right sort - so I took 1 6 packs for the team. No one could say I don't take my hostessing seriously😉 Tis done now, must do better today. Egg & toast for breakfast with a baked hash brown as a treat, should keep me going until the afternoon. Lots of baking to be done today, and I've never been one to eat cake dough so I'm safe for once. Was thinking of doing park run but too much on so I'll settle for a good walk later. Anyone else up?

Sugarandsalt · 17/09/2016 08:36

Well I have far too bad a headache right now to go through all the previous posts but I will later! I drank all the wine. And champagne. And ate a lot. MFP estimates my calories at over 3000!!! I had a fit of sensibility and switched to Diet Coke around midnight so it could have been worse!

I'm going to have a hotel breakfast now so I expect today will be a write off too.

Lolimax · 17/09/2016 08:55

Sugar you're at a wedding aren't you? Just go for it and enjoy and crack back on next week. Have some white pudding for me though Smile

Lolimax · 17/09/2016 09:00

Not I'm enjoying my last cuppa in bed in the caravan absolutely gutted we have to go home today. For various reasons it's been our first ever proper holiday just the 2 of us in the 6 years we've been together (met in our early 40's, 4 DC's between us), through a combination of horrible illness and bereavement we haven't even had a honeymoon. This week has been lovely and I'm sad to go back to real life. But hey ho, there's a party tonight where I'll see all my mates and hopefully DS (18) has left the house in one piece.
What time is your birthday party? Is it today or tomorrow? I'm so glad mine are beyond that now lol!

Sugarandsalt · 17/09/2016 09:15

Yes just had a full Irish. And bread. I'm fairly stuffed. I'm not going to weigh myself until the end of next week and hopefully will have succeeded in damage limitation by then!

Not2bObvious · 17/09/2016 09:28

Aww I'm glad you had a fab holiday loli, much better to not want to leave than dying to go home. You'll have lovely memories to look back on. A child free holiday is about, ooh, 7 years away I reckon, something to look forward to. Party is tomorrow & the party girl is soo excited. Not a huge do, 9 kids including my 2 and 4 grown ups. Play place then back to mine for feeding & general mayhem. Have to unload her pressies while she's off at Saturday activities and try wrap them...must remember to get her a birthday card!! Feck there's always something I forget.
Sugar sounds like you had a ball, enjoy the fry, you'll feel the better for it

Cinderbelly · 17/09/2016 10:20

and will probably have that 90s song stuck in my head all day now!
Wow the threads been moving fast!

Too much to catch up on, must check back more frequently! Sounds like everyone's been doing well, we are having a lazy day today as next week is going to be manic. it's DDs 4th birthday Monday, so will wrap up presents later when she's in bed, then she starts school nursery Tuesday, and I've got an overnight work conference as well next week. May have to do some housework today ready for party next weekend.
Didn't weigh yesterday, got caught up doing stuff and then ended up having a late dinner, so I will weigh later and see where I am.

Hopefully · 17/09/2016 10:39

Sounds like some of you have had Friday/Saturdays that are as successful as mine! Was one pound up this morning despite low calories yesterday (I think the fact that about a third of them were cake mix didn't help), and am in the less than ideal position of having 200 calories left for the day at 10:37am - DS1's birthday, so full English breakfast and cake sampling while icing it. Will manage some walking today but I don't exactly see it being a huge success! Will log it all though. Here is the first cake (second one in progress for tomorrow's party).

Not2bObvious · 17/09/2016 13:16

Oh wow hope, that's super classy! My efforts are currently cooling, will post a pic of the decorated cake later - hope it's going to be edible, worried my cupcakes aren't that nice but hey I'm not eating them😁 The rice crispy cakes should be good though (even I can mess them up) I'm debating what to have for lunch, I fancy a really cheesy toastie...or a burger lol! Few stray chocolatey rice crispies found there way to me, about 800 left if I hope to stay within 1200, I think we all know that's highly unlikely! Maybe I should go for a nana nap - keep me away from the temptations

Cinderbelly · 17/09/2016 13:17

Wow hope that looks delicious!
Happy birthday weekend to mini-not and mini-hope Cake
13stone4 today Smile loving watching the trend line on the graph go down..

Not2bObvious · 17/09/2016 14:52

Lost my last message - I'll try again - it's not quite in the same cake arena as yours hope but the birthday girl is delighted

Hopefully · 17/09/2016 17:58

That looks fab not! Love the smartie criss cross effect.

I feel so sick. Full English for breakfast, odd slices of bread throughout the day, then massive slice of the above cake for afternoon tea/dinner (complete with a sprinkling of the toffee/chocolate/sweeties topping). Am currently residing at a cool 600 calories over despite two decent walks, and feel like I have poisoned my poor body. Enough to put me off sugar for a few days. Just the yummy sausage rolls to contend with tomorrow then back on track.

Urghhhh Envy Envy

coragreta · 17/09/2016 17:59

All those cakes look amazing.
Looks like a few of us are up in the calories this weekend. Just at a wedding and feel full and sick. Had a big plate of buffet food (mostly meat so probs not too bad calories wise) then a giant scone. 2 cupcakes in my bag as I was too full to eat them. Definitely over but a week till my weigh in and I will be good this week!
Enjoy all the parties!

madein1995 · 17/09/2016 22:08

Ooh the cakes look gorgeous. In at 1267 today and managed 10 lengths of the pool today (dogy paddle). Banana and milk for breakfast, then steak, haldful of chips, pepper sauce and slice of garlic bread for lunch. Leftover fajitas for tea. Had 2 dairybox chocolates, proud it wasn't more. Also eaten 2 fruit winders. Today was definitely a'hungry' day, I'm still fancying something now but I've got a cup of tea so that ought to sort me out.

Hopefully · 18/09/2016 05:27

Well I have maintained overnight, so still only 1lb up. Am so put off having anything remotely sweet that today shouldn't be too awful!

Lolimax · 18/09/2016 07:02

Morning! First weigh-in for a week as I was down the caravan....and I've lost 2lbs!!!! That's brought me over the 2 and a 1/2 stone point (now 13stone 8lbs, starting weight 16 stone 2lbs). Feeling very pleased with myself today. Off for an early morning swim then a 5k walk with the dogs.

Not2bObvious · 18/09/2016 08:31

Oh loli that is brilliant! I just knew you would have a loss with the great behaviour on holidays. Not weighing in today as there's no point, I'll only annoy myself and I'm not changing the course of it. This time x number of years ago I was getting ready to meet my new baby (sniffles) and I'm going to enjoy her day without it being a guilt day. Having a cuppa while himself gets breakfast started!! Have a lovely Sunday all

SesameSparkle · 18/09/2016 09:35

Morning all!

Good news loli, lovely cakes there not and hopefully I'd like a chocolate crispy cake please, enjoy the celebrations. Some good losses still going on. Hang in there to anyone having a wobble.

I weighed in at 10st1 yesterday morning. That's another lb off in 7 days. Total loss now 2st3. Grin

I bought a skirt in a size 10 yesterday. It looks teeny compared to the stuff I used to wear. Actually the skirt is a bit too tight, but it was a pretty colour and the 12 was massive. It's corduroy - does anyone know if it'll stretch out on wearing?

Enjoy the rest of your weekends everyone!

Not2bObvious · 18/09/2016 09:55

Sesame 2 stone 3 is brilliant - how long has it taken you? And a size 10 skirt, swit swoo😉 The rate you're going it won't be snug for long so I wouldn't worry about stretching it. Soo close to the 9's! I'm partial to a rice crispy bun too but I think I may have only made enough for the kids, I'll have to be happy with the bowl scrapping I did yesterday - cake batter bleurgh, rice crispies coated in chocolate nom nom.
Cooking up the party food for reheating later - will have to keep my mits off the sausages. I'm planning on this being a dry day, not that I was going to lash down the wine with the kids here but afterwards I might be tempted. With luck I'll be too tired by the time it's over to venture to Aldi for 🍷
