Need to lose a cinder block (Google wtf a cinder block is).
Just ate the most amazing chicken meatballs from the mfp blog. Yummy yummy yum!

Coming in at 1038. Fingers crossed for a weigh in tomorrow.

dorothymichaels · 12/09/2016 19:07

Hi all
The wedding was amazing. Unfortunately someone kept filling my glass so as I got drunker I cared not a jot for what I was eating. The food was so good though! And pretty healthy. Some pics attached!

Despite this binge I'm 1kg down on my weigh in this morning. Onwards and downwards!

More food!

coragreta · 12/09/2016 19:25

That looks amazing. Glad you had a nice time!

Not2bObvious · 12/09/2016 19:48

Wow that food looks good and drink too
It's brilliant you lost weight despite of a excellent weekend. I'm so thirsty today, goes to prove how salty Chinese is. I probably haven't helped my cause by making a curry with Chinese concentrate, laced with salt of course! Got a decent walk in after all but pretty hungry, my calorie count is just under 1300 so I'll have to ride it out. Stupid sodding Monday. Went to supermarket while out for my walk, the amount of people buying drink goes to show how many other people feel about stupid sodding Monday! Moan over, going to calculate how many small animals I've lost & acquired over the last few months😉

Not2bObvious · 12/09/2016 19:51

I need to lose my spare tyre! 20lb, I can then put my bald eagle on it and roll it down the road...sorry getting carried away now

Cinderbelly · 12/09/2016 19:58

1lb up here today so am at 189lbs (13.5lb which is where I thought I was at the start of last week, yay!)

dorothy the food looks gorgeous, sounds like you had a good time.
I am slightly over today at 1251 but I'm not going to beat myself up over 51 calories

madein1995 · 12/09/2016 20:37

dorothy ooh that food looks nice, and is that champagne I see in the background ... Smile

Finishing today on 1190. My aches and pains have meant a walk was out of the question but I've done well on the calories - half a banana and some orane juice for breakfast, mushroom slice and a slice of bread and butter for lunch, strawberry chewits and some popchips for snack, 2 cups of tea, I ate half my pasta at tea and I've just had a small glass of wine, so feeling good.

Sugarandsalt · 12/09/2016 21:14

I have a spare tyre left to lose! Cora good luck tomorrow. Dorothy that food looks amazing. Cinder you are probably bloated too. Made sounds like a good day.

I weighed less this evening than I did this morning. After spending 2 hours getting home from work in sweltering heat, I sweated it out! I've come in at 1214 today. made roast chicken yesterday, stripped carcass and made a big curry- so dinner today and tomorrow sorted. Freezer meal Wednesday then off to Ireland Thursday!

sugarmonster64 · 12/09/2016 21:59

Well done to all those that lost last week. I'm struggling keeping up with who's done what!

Been awol this weekend, mostly spent eating and drinking and then feeling worse for wear afterwards. Did lots of walking today and made some yummy home made food which saw me a bit over but way under total when I included exercise. Got lentil soup for lunch tomorrow with slow cooked beef for dinner. Will have toast and an egg for breakfast I think.

Hopefully · 13/09/2016 04:39

cinder 51 calories is definitely not going to sabotage you!

not2be I am aiming for bald eagle territory!

dorothy well done on ending up 1kg down despite the yummy food.

I managed to completely forget to log from after lunchtime onwards yesterday, but had a healthy dinner and I think I came in around 1,400-1,500. Down over half a pound of my 1.5lb bloat already anyway, so something went right. Meeting a friend for lunch today and we usually go for pizza at a Prezzo/pizza express type place, but will get a salad and be walking around beforehand, which hopefully will keep my calorie count vaguely sensible. Have a horrendously busy week, sleep is at ridiculously low levels (6hrs on a good night, and likely to remain that way all week) which always slows down any loss for me (partly because of not resting enough, partly because being awake longer means I am physically hungry more to keep me going) so will need to really keep on the case all week to ensure I hit my next target before PMT bloat hits.

Not2bObvious · 13/09/2016 06:30

We must be on the same bloat disintegration schedule hope, I'm down 1.4 from yesterday to 11.6, so 2.4 up from Friday & 3 days of good behaviour to go until my Friday weight in. Bring so busy might work in your favour - keep you away from food? Just keep your eye on the bald eagle😉 (Sounds like a secret message!)
Sugarm I highly recommend egg & toast for brekkie, it's my go to these days. Keeps me going for a good 3-4 hours. I'm trying hard to keep to water drinking too, I down a glass straight after morning weigh in, another just before breakfast - and then aim to get another 1-2 in by lunchtime. More in the afternoon if I can but definitely try to get another pint into me before dinner. Makes for huge number of trips to the loo but I reckon it helps clear out any weekend bloating. Well that's my theory, I'll know by Friday eh?

Bathsheba3 · 13/09/2016 07:23

glad to hear you're both de-bloating hope & not.

I'm 2 lbs down from last week, down to 12 5. So that's a consistent 2 lbs / week for the last 3 weeks. Phew. So all going well and I don't go crazy in Dublin at the weekend I'll be on track for the 11's for October.

I think I will crank-up the exercise in Oct too, for some extra burn & tone - belly, arms, thighs. Everywhere really. Didn't want to set myself up to fail by setting too many Sept goals making excuses.

Not2bObvious · 13/09/2016 07:34

That is fantastic bath, well done! Offset gains by lots of walking around Dublin - it's a very walkable city as you'll probably know...and has too much lovely food & drink too😫

Sugarandsalt · 13/09/2016 07:37

Well done Bath! My monthly bloating has started in earnest, I'm a half lb up on yesterday and I feel really bloated.

Glad to hear Hope and not2b are debloating. Sugarm I agree eggs are the way to go for breakfast. Or oats. Both keep me full for ages.

I'm working from home this morning then into office this afternoon. Luckily as we are going away on Thursday our presses are pretty much empty but must avoid all the lovely cheese in the fridge.

Callmesausage · 13/09/2016 07:43

Well done Bath and good to hear the bloating has gone down hope and not2be. Going to be a hot one today!

Sugarandsalt · 13/09/2016 07:46

And sugarm Dublin seems to be gripped by a "clean eating" craze at the moment. You can't throw a stone without hitting a salad bar etc! Even the celebrity chefs are getting in on it.

On a completely separate point I have woken up with the beginnings of a massive coldsore, for which I will start applying copious amounts of aciclovir later. Does anyone have any good camouflage tips? (I have a wedding to attend on Friday).

Sugarandsalt · 13/09/2016 07:47

That was meant for bath sorry! Morning brain!

aurorie11 · 13/09/2016 07:59

Sugar - cold sore, have you tried the compeed cold sore patches? They clear it up quickest after a zapper thing. Plus if you're careful you can then apply make up over the top of the patch

Sugarandsalt · 13/09/2016 08:06

Aurorie I've never tried them, haven't had a cold sore in years. I like the sound of makeup on top, I'll have to experiment. Thanks!

Cinderbelly · 13/09/2016 09:32

Love the secret code of the mfp thread..

'Come join us on the bloaty bench... Whether you've lost a badger or a human head, park your spare tyre on the bloaty bench, keep your eye on the bald eagle and just focus on one Guinea pig at a time..'

Callmesausage · 13/09/2016 09:54

Love it Cinder!

Not2bObvious · 13/09/2016 10:07

😝 Brilliant cinder!

Lolimax · 13/09/2016 10:51

Omg cinder that's fab!

Sugarandsalt · 13/09/2016 10:52

Title of the next thread methinks!
