I've had a really good (boring) Saturday. Under 1100 calories mainly as I'm on my own and I've probably burnt most of that as I swam for 45 minutes first thing then walked the dogs tonight for an hour and a half (3 and a half miles).
My legs are still bloody burning from spin bikes on Thursday. Hope everyone else had a more interesting day than me!

Not2bObvious · 10/09/2016 21:27

Better your legs than your lady carriage loli 😉

Lolimax · 10/09/2016 21:29

This is true Not. One of the few joys of 2 sections. Although I wish my horrible stomach apron would do one! There really is no pleasing us, is there?

Bathsheba3 · 10/09/2016 21:39

Glad to hear someone has had a good Saturday - food / calories. You're doing brilliantly Lol. Boring saturdays are good for ones sanity I reckon. Similar here. I've done 2 x dog walks, but rest of day was sitting on backside. tbh I needed it. but not good in calorie-burning stakes.

How is / was the wine this evening Not? I am soooooo tempted this evening. I even have you in your Mrs Brown voice shouting your g'wann's to me Wink No space in my calories, but right now I couldn't care. Just had mini bag popcorn @ 78 cals, but that hasn't taken the wine craving away.

I really can't believe you loose 1 1/2 lbs liquid / weight after a bf coragreta. That's insane! How old is your baba again?

Run out of slimline tonic. Ahah, I know what I need - hot water & lemon. That usually takes the wine cravings away ....

madein1995 · 10/09/2016 21:44

That's really good loli and wow, that's amazing Emily I can only dream of being at target. I've not been to the aqua gym today but went on a dog walk and also done lots of weights work and some weighted sit up (sit up, 2 punches with weights in hands and repeat) so burned off 200 calories. Good thing too as I've eaten 1668 today (but with my exercise cals I technically have 73 left), went as according to plan but with the addition of raspberry and pear wine, a doughnut and hummus and crackers. Weigh in tomorrow morning (will go over before eating) so hopefully I'll see a decent result.

Sugarandsalt · 10/09/2016 21:56

I had a lovely boring Saturday. Went for a short walk in the rain, otherwise lots of reading, playing with my toddler and tv.

Came in at 1170cals.

Cora my DD was a milk monster, I'm sure she was draining that much fluid from me each feed when she was EBF- I used to pump 12oz in 10mins no problem. Of course awkward child wouldn't drink it so ended up donating it.

Loli I have an apron after my C-Section too, I hate it. I'm hoping to have another baby in a few years, which will be another section- I'll definitely consider a tummy tuck afterwards, as vain as that sounds.

Not and Bath I'd love a glass of cold white wine tonight too, but with wedding next weekend I'm thinking its best not to drink this weekend.

Brunch out tomorrow. Must peruse the menu and see what I will have. Dinner will be roast chicken leg, and roast carrots, parsnip and perhaps squash. That will be 500cals or so, leaving me plenty for brunch!

coragreta · 10/09/2016 22:14

My lo is 9months. Definitely doesn't have my appetite when it comes to proper food. Basically lives on bread yoghurt and mummy milk. I'm blaming my husband who has always been a fussy eater.

Sugarandsalt · 10/09/2016 22:23

Cora I don't think my DD swallowed anything really other than a little toast before she was 10-11months and only really started to like food at 18months. She's still got a little appetite, grazes all day but tiny portions. She loved her milk though- now she's weaned she'll have the odd glass of cows milk but no real interest. I was very annoyed that despite the litres she drank I managed to gain weight, it was probably the constant eating on my part!

Not2bObvious · 10/09/2016 23:17

Haha bath, I'm hoping you mean Mrs Doyle not Mrs Brown, if it was Mrs Brown I would be roaring "gerr it in'ter yer Cynthia ffs!"😉
I have to say my icy cold NZ SV went down spectacularly, sipping vodka & light cranberry juice watching the Christina Nobel story and thanking my stars for my life, so sad & inspiring

Bathsheba3 · 10/09/2016 23:39

oops - can't believe I got my sitcoms wrong. Mrs Doyle, yes. But same sentiment. Am over your way next weekend for a friend's birthday. It would be a sin to not have a drink then, don't you think? I'm wide awake on account of 40 winks earlier but on a roll prepping for a work meeting next week. Couldn't be doing that after a few glasses of vino, so something good out of it.

Not2bObvious · 11/09/2016 01:04

It would be a SIN bath! As an ambassador for my nation I would be insulted if you didn't! If you're in Dublin I'll be thinking of you, wondering if I passed you on the streets😉

Not2bObvious · 11/09/2016 01:06

Oh yeah and I dare you to say to anyone Irish at the party my gerr it in'ter ye Cynthia!

Hopefully · 11/09/2016 05:54

No access to scales while away from home, but given that dinner yesterday consisted of lasagne followed by chocolate cake and cream, I think that's for the best Grin. Was hoping to pre-emptively walk it off but the weather was horrible so only did a little walk. Hoping for a more sensible day today despite BBQ this afternoon.

Sugarandsalt · 11/09/2016 07:17

Bath you absolutely need to have a few drinks in Ireland. I'll be doing the same next weekend! Just remember we are made of stronger stuff and have bigger spirit measures (1/3bigger).

Hope BBQ generally offers ok options- some plain meat and salad perhaps?

I'm out for brunch today. So skipping breakfast, am trying to decide between shakshouka or broccoli and corn fritters with poached egg and salad (both look reasonable calorie wise), then roasting a chicken this evening. I'll stick to roasted veg on the side I think, will do stuffing and gravy/roast potatoes for the family. I'll be a proper mumsnetter and make a huge curry which will feed us Monday and Tuesday. Can't be bothered doing a big shop when we are going away Thursday morning.

Hopefully · 11/09/2016 07:22

I'm hoping so sugar! I actually have a horrible food/booze hangover anyway (I always get this when I eat after about 6pm, and drink so infrequently that even two glasses of fizz is too much), so not feeling remotely inclined to eat ATM. Did manage to limp my way through my yoga this morning too, despite DC3 (2.5) sitting as highly critical audience for much of it. 'Why you falling over mummy?'

Sugarandsalt · 11/09/2016 07:25

He sounds like my 2 year old! I feel like I have an inquisitor following me about asking constant questions these days!

She's smart too- she's copped on to the fact that daddy's dinners are made with more butter/cheese/carbs and has stopped trying to steal my food and moved on to his. Won't eat her own mind you!

Not2bObvious · 11/09/2016 08:19

Yikes, I sure made up for my alcohol free Friday. My head is hanging off, only had 5 hours sleep so that's hardly helping. By my estimation I had around 2300 cals (just remembered I had 4 not 3 V&C😳) I'm not weighing in either as I've lowered a pint of water and that won't help the scales. Trying to decide if I should get up now and get out for a walk, clear the fog? Or lie in bed until dh wakes, takes pity on me and feeds me, decisions of the hungover.
Anywho, I've had worse and I enjoyed it. I'm off out to have a Chinese for lunch, that's sort me out.

SesameSparkle · 11/09/2016 09:40

hopefully glad the scales have dropped again. If I was at a National Trust café I'd have to go for soup and a scone with jam and butter for after. Maybe half a scone if I have someone to split it with.....

sugarand well done for the loss

not glad you're having a nice weekend. At least you are fitting some exercise in to counteract some of the effects.

Emily well done for getting to target. Amazing! Will you remind me of your statistics? Do you stick around this thread to help you with maintenance?

I finally made it to 10st2 yesterday morning! Hallelujah! Grin It's taken me 2 weeks to lose that lb. That's 2st2 down since starting mfp in April. 2st8 since new year! Grin Next goal for me is to get to 10st.

Not2bObvious · 11/09/2016 09:51

Halfway through my walk, stopped for a coffee to get me through the second half. Looking forward to getting home to a shower and a fry up. Mustn't be too bad a hangover cause if it was I'd be lying in bed scoffing crisps! Oh lord, 25 minute walk ahead of me with cars whizzing by. Painful

Wallywobbles · 11/09/2016 10:13

Feel guilty not being able to do names as I'm on the app. Thank you all for your inspiration.

Virtuousness feels very overrated at the moment. Went to a concert type thing last last night with DC x 4 in the pissing rain. While the crowd and DC had sausages, chips, crepes and churros I had a small bottle of water. No comfort there.

Played ponies for 4 hours in the morning. V wet dog walk in the afternoon.

However on the upside 12kg down - 700gs off 2 stone. So I think by Tuesday it should be 2 stone. My objective is 3 stone by 25 October which is the next time I'll see all my family. V smart black tie affair. New dress to buy in London for that and maybe shoes if my feet ever stop hurting.

MustBeThin · 11/09/2016 10:19

Quick check in, busy day before going on holiday. 1lb down according to the scales which is surprising considering I had 3 course dinner out Thursday and haagen dazs last night. It's been exactly 16 days again since I last lost weight. Hmm going to have a takeaway tonight then I have 10 days of eating out twice a day Shock scary stuff but weight was OK when I got back last time.

Keep up the good work everyone, you are all doing so well.

Sugarandsalt · 11/09/2016 11:01

Well done must and have a lovely holiday. I'm a 1/4lb down again today. So just 1.25lbs off my 12stone mini goal! I'm going to need a new coat for day to day (I have a lovely dressy coat) so might have a peek in shops after brunch. My usual day to day winter coat is a heavy trench but the one I had last year is huge on me now Smile.

Not the hangover will be much better after some food and an early night. You have my sympathy!

Wally well done, you are doing brilliantly.

Not2bObvious · 11/09/2016 11:40

Wow wally, being virtuous can be a pain but look at your rewards! That's great another pound is gone must, have a super holiday. Big amount of soakage gone in, now off to have shower with my newly purchased shower gel, it promises to revive me but in fairness that would take a stay in hospital😉 Best fill in mfp & see what I have to play with today but in fairness it's not going to be a 1200 day, I've 4 light days ahead of me to fix the weekend. Enjoy your brunch sugar and good luck with the shopping, there's some lovely bits out there. Had a look in h&m after my coffee, wish I could fit into their size 10 jeans, but they're not built for my huge thighs and I refuse to buy a size 12

Callmesausage · 11/09/2016 12:58

Sounds tough Wally, but well done. And to everyone else, lots of losses and motivation. Got my first weigh in tomorrow. I've been very good all week, bit lax yesterday but still came in around 1300.

madein1995 · 11/09/2016 13:34

The scales are telling me I've maintained this week Sad I dint think the dominos or last night will have helped matters really. It's hard to keep motivated after that, but I need to stay on track
