Well done on tightening your belt Fearsome. Milestones like that make the weight loss real.
Interesting tea flavours Loli!
Sesame I'm finding that my tastes are changing as I do MFP. I really have to think about what I spend my calorie allowance on and am prioritising proper meals over treats. Some of the unhealthy stuff seems less attractive to me as the calorie spend seems excessive compared to the reward. Recently I had a day where I skipped lunch so that I had enough calories to indulge in coffee and a tiny cake with a friend. The cake was delicious but the realisation that I couldn't fit lunch and a cake into my spend for that day had me questioning whether it was really worth it.
Very impressed with all your exercise made.
Well done on the losses Hopefully and Sugarand salt.
Yesterday the scales showed that I'd reached my target weight. Yay! So, now to the bit that was tricky last time. Keeping it off. I know what not to do. Last time I stopped counting calories, stopped logging onto MFP and stopped weighing myself and basically went, "Phew, that's done, now I can go back to normal and eat as much as I like of whatever I like."
My plan is to let myself go onto the maintenance calorie level (1,540), 1,200 is doable but I find it hard, especially as three reasonable meals a day doesn't leave much left over for cups of tea and fruit even.
Truth be told, although I look much better and my clothes aren't tight any more I'm still a bit podgy round the middle, but I know that I should really try and get rid of that by building more exercise and activity into my life.
Yesterday I did go a bit over my new larger allowance
but the need to collect one of my children from a party at midnight did at least keep my away from the wine!
