I can't keep up on here, the threads never moved so fast 😄

Everyone seems to be doing so well Star Well done on the losses.

Still 10st 7 this morning! I'm away for 10 days starting next week and would have liked to get another 1-2 lb off before then to keep my 3st loss even with a little real weight gain but it's not going to happen. Never mind eh.

Not2bObvious · 06/09/2016 11:10

Well done bath, that's a good solid lump off. I'm hoping to see the same this Friday for me. hope I don't think that's silly at all, lovely for the kids that mummy can join in.
I actually managed to get out & jog for 30 mins this morning despite the lack of sleep, then did a solid 45 minutes of cleaning. No chance of a nap call but that's ok, it would probably impact on tonight's sleep. I just get the odd night when I wake for 2-3 hours, most of the rest of the time I'm awake by 5 for the day. I'm used to it now but hate those 2-3 hours nights. must that's so brilliant that you're this weight now, I'm sure you won't be like me & gain 7 10 pound on your holidays. I think you're officially a skinny minny 😉

sugarmonster64 · 06/09/2016 11:43

Well done emily and bath. Great start to the week. Last night went from bad to worse with the addition of a galaxy ripple so my worst day since starting. Got meals planned for today that keep me within target as long as I don't snack. Have been holed up this week and struggling to get out and exercise which should be better next week!

hopefully did you say you do yoga? Have you found it good for toning? Granted I need to lose the belly before toning comes into play but I'm finding a short daily yoga session is relaxing so think it's something that I could do more of

DawheadAwgusEeentock · 06/09/2016 15:00

Argh - Thurs and 5 pages since I posted! Wow so many updates - there's no way I can do everyone justice (or I will fill pages) but I have read everything and caught up. Just a few call outs:

Not2Be sorry about the TDEE Blush relatively new to all this and still get excited by the science of it. 1600 sounds quite tough so you are doing great. I was going to join you and Stewards in aiming to be in the 10s by end of September, but that would mean losing over 8lbs so I don't think it's realistic for me Sad. I am rooting for you and would love to be there myself some time in October.

Fitter hope you're ok Flowers. Sounded like you were having a v bad week, but the fact that you are here and trying is such a brilliant thing to be proud of. Please keep telling yourself how well you are doing at something that's really difficult. Hope're you still reading and would love to see you back on here.

coragreta, Hopefully, Loli, sugarandsalt, Wally, Stewards, Sesame, Emily and Bath well done on all the overall losses since I was last here Star Star Star Star Star Star Star Star Star

Hi Fearsome, madein, Callme and dorothy and Welcome Smile

Sorry to everyone I've missed this time Flowers.

So impressed by all the exercise everyone is doing. And yy I find 1200 v hard as well -> that's why this week I'm averaging 1500 per day this week Sad. Haven't had any major binges and no chocolate but just been having extra snacks/portions that have all added up. Keeping up with c25k but found last session tough - should finish week 2 tonight, but TOTM arrived yesterday so not looking forward to it as I'm feeling v tired and bloated. Also weigh in day tomorrow eek.

Today's plan brings me to 1370:
B: Porridge 190
L: Boiled egg, bread, slice of cake Blush 650
D: Pork chop, spuds, veg 530

Keep going everyone - onwards and downwards! Will try to get better at more frequent (and shorter) posts.

dorothymichaels · 06/09/2016 15:41

I may have just signed up to the under 150cals graze box. I get sick of the same old low cal treats so being a bit indulgent. Just had a very strange snack of a corn cake and pease pudding! Lived in the North East nearly 20years and never tried it before. Husband bought some at lidl as it was only 40p. It's like poor man's hummus! It was only 34calories though and quite nice.

EmilyDickinson · 06/09/2016 17:09

That graze box sounds very interesting dorothy I really struggle to find low calorie but satisfying snacks.

Lolimax · 06/09/2016 17:11

Feeling a bit ugh today. I've just worked a 10 hour day and I'm due in Zumba at 6 and I'm knackered. I inject Clexane every day but for some reason my tummy has got really sore. I'm also hungry today which I haven't been. Luckily DH put a beef stew in the slow cooker so at least I have that to look forward to (and as I've only eaten 450 calories so far today I can have a nice bowlful).
Someone put a bomb up my backside? The good news is I went to Head Office today which I tend to avoid and people commented that I'd lost weight. Isn't it nice when others notice?

Not2bObvious · 06/09/2016 17:14

Well done on the c25k dawg, it's a fantastic program, I think it really makes running doable for all. I reckon if you keep going the way you are, you could get into the 10's too or close as possibly. I'm home now and feeling quite zonked, bought a lovely looking seafood dish in m&s which brings me just over the 1200 and I'll very likely have a 2 finger kit Kat so I'll be around 1350 but yesterday was under 900 (prob explains lack of sleep, body in shock!) so it all balances out. Dh working late so need to be patient with the kids as no-one to hand over to, so probably best not to be h'angry😉

EmilyDickinson · 06/09/2016 17:20

Well done Lolimax! You're doing really well if colleagues can see the difference. Smile

Callmesausage · 06/09/2016 17:51

That's great that others noticed Lorimax, well done.

Not2bObvious · 06/09/2016 17:57

Probably too late to put a bomb under your noticeably smaller behind, but even if it wasn't I wouldn't. That's a loonnngggg day, I don't blame dreading the Zumba although I bet you'll love it when you get there. No snacking today, was just too busy. I love days like that when food isn't my only focus. My feckin pasta disk is taking an age to bake, can't wait to inhale. I was never that fond of pasta until I couldn't have it on Bsd plan. I'm finding the old bowl very comforting

Not2bObvious · 06/09/2016 17:58

Odd bowl, not old - this stupid phone!

Hopefully · 06/09/2016 18:48

Argh, another terrible day. Likely to finish around 1,800 if I include my (optimistic) exercise cals. I need to get over the excitement of reaching my last milestone and start heading towards the next one, or I'm going to put it all back on again!

loli that's a long day! Especially on only 450 cals so far.

dorothy I may steal some ideas from that graze box site! No point signing up as I hate most nuts, but some good ideas there.

sugar yes, I do ashtanga yoga. It's more dynamic than lots of other types, so extra good for toning, but I think most yoga will help.

Not2bObvious · 06/09/2016 19:35

Never mind hope, it's only a couple of days eating at maintenance level - sticking to it day in day out is tough going. Dust yourself off & start again tomorrow or the next day. Had my kit kat, have to declare the kitchen closed...oh gosh it's hard though

coragreta · 06/09/2016 19:35

I love when people notice. Well done!

I find Pilates really good for toning and I just get the videos of YouTube.

Finished today at 1055 and I'm not even hungry. Yay. Plus I've planned out my meals for the week plus snacks and should be under every day. Fingers crossed no more birthday cakes cone my way!

Too tired to exercise tonight but have a big run planned tomorrow so should be good.

I'm feeling loads better than yesterday. Positive for the week!

Sugarandsalt · 06/09/2016 19:43

Wow this thread is moving fast!!

I've still got a hot swollen knee so no more exercise this week I think. It's very annoying- I love to run but it keeps injuring me. Think I need to find a new exercise once this current swelling settles. Cora I've been thinking of Pilates- but need to lose a lot more fat before toning will kick in I think!

I've had a fairly good day. Hobbling so not many steps, but so far calories in target.

Breakfast- scrambled egg, grilled tomato, turkey rashers
Lunch- beetroot, squash and feta salad. Apple mid afternoon
Dinner- In process of making saag paneer (will have with cauliflower rice)
I may have a few dates for dessert.

All of that will be 1350cals.

MustBeThin · 06/09/2016 20:35

Thanks Not2b I did surprisingly well last holiday and had lost the weight within days. I did obviously eat more than my usual 1200 (didn't log anything at all) but I reckon I probably ate a lot more protein than I do at home, at home I eat more carbs. I did have a few puddings and chocolate bars too though Blush

Just had a Mini Milk. Well under calories today, couldn't face much of my tea. I'm crap at eating proper meals when it's hot. I just want to pick at things like sausage rolls, cheese and cold meat but I'm not buying things like sausage rolls because I'll end up looking like one. Grin Don't mind being under my calories for a day or two though because I just bought another tub of Haagen Dazs and I'm sure I'll eat half of it on Saturday night....damn you Asda for selling them at £2.50.

I take my hat off to all of you dedicated to exercise.......I am totally useless and lazy Blush I haven't done any while using MFP. I think when I started in January I went on a few long walks then gave up. Blush

madein1995 · 06/09/2016 20:59

Quite a good day today, been making sure to drink lots of water though I've been going to the loo loads as a result. Finishing today on 1208. I'm going to try and have more protein to fill me between meals and eat meals later.
Breakfast was 1 slice of toast and butter and scrambled egg, and a small glass of milk. Lunch was some leftover pasta with grated cheese, and a 10 cal jelly pot. I snacked on a smoothie of a banana, handful of raspberries, some melon chunks and tangerine and a drop of milk and some water @ 4pm. Tea was half an hour ago and was slimming world sweet and sour ready meal with 90g rice and a small slice of bread. Had another 10 cal jelly.
Writing that it seems like I've eaten loads, too much for that amount of calories, but I've made sure to measure/weigh everything properly so it's odd. I hope I see a result on my way in day (it's been hard resisting maltesers)

FearsomeNasalHairs · 06/09/2016 21:14

Still 13.5 Sad starting to think my scales are dodgy (they are very old) as the wiifit tells me that I have lost 1lb but that puts me on 13.6 Angry

So bloody confusing!

Thanks to everyone for the help with bmr I didn't really understand what I was looking at, and the coma explanation was perfect - can't remember who said it sorry!
100 calories left for today, so I'm going to have a coffee and a small biscuit.
Well done to everyone today, some great results Star

madein1995 · 06/09/2016 21:19

Is there a local gym or somewhere else where you could use their scales fear? I find that my scales are very inconsistent but the ones over my gym I can stand on 3 times in a row and they tell me the same thing (whereas mine can tell me I'm anywhere between 11 stone - I wish - and 18 stone)

Callmesausage · 06/09/2016 21:32

Good day, been at Aqua Aerobics and finished at 1049.

FearsomeNasalHairs · 06/09/2016 21:34

Can't afford the gym membership unfortunately made and it's a virgin one so they don't even do a one day entrance.
They used to have a proper set at work that did bmi etc as well but it was right outside the canteen area (big open plan office) and nobody ever used it because of the busy area it was in.

madein1995 · 06/09/2016 23:04

Just eaten 3 chocolates - 120 for all - sp not over my cal intake, but still annoyed. I can't seem to do a day without chocolate. I had a big late tea but then I let myself down Sad at least I stopped at 3, so the damage won't be too bad. On it again in morning

Hopefully · 07/09/2016 05:15

Crumble tummy remains, but I suppose I should be grateful there isn't any further gain after yesterday's disaster! Planning out today's calories and going to try a high protein lunch - afternoon snacking is always my downfall, between about 3 and 6. I don't struggle in the evening, weirdly, but I could seriously eat everything in the house in that post-lunch/pre-dinner period. And it's when I'm helping the DC with post school snacks and cooking dinner, so the food is right there in front of me and I just give in to a mouthful of this and a handful of that. Am going to be strict about only eating food that I have put on a plate and sat down to eat as well, rather than just grabbed from a cupboard. My snacks yesterday added up to 750cals!

Made well done for staying within limits a three chocolates really isn't a disaster if you managed to keep the calories to the right level.

Sugar I used to be an avid runner, but the constant injuries were a nightmare. I actually started the yoga to try to help with it, but after one particularly bad foot injury I decided I was sick of spending half my life in recovery from injuries.

Wallywobbles · 07/09/2016 06:34

Yesterday's best weight was 87,7. And exactly 6 weeks in. 11.1kg or 24.47lbs down.

I've had to order some more flavored of my slim and save to try and help with the boredom. In 6 weeks my only slip up has been 1 glass of champagne. Depressing

Brought two new Connemara ponies yesterday to finish backing (4&5yo), which should keep me away from the house. Desperate measures.

I'm doing the non riding work on them and the stud will do the riding/more dangerous work on them in return for a new website and updating their facebook page etc. (more sitting at computer at home in range of goodies though). I finish with the pony of my choice and they keep the other for the riding school. Now I just need to pay for mine.
