Sorry if stepping on toes. But couldn't see another thread. Anybody want to join me? I guess the idea is that some weeks you loose a bit more and some weeks you gain but aiming for 1lb a week sounds good to me.

NantucketNightbird · 17/05/2016 14:11

Wow! That's great going hav Smile how far from goal are you?

havalina1 · 17/05/2016 14:49

10st is my target Nan. I've lost 3lbs now in 3 weeks so it's finally decided to shift off. I got my first period since the baby and I'd say that has had a role to play in the weight just not moving while I was breastfeeding (still am but less as he's on solids now).

Anyway all good but I need to stay on course. I had a sandwich in Nero's today which was stupid as I was still starving afterwards. Waste of calories.

Rinceoir · 20/05/2016 13:52

Well done Hav! Checking in from the sunny Algarve. I've definitely relaxed on the food and wine front, but not going mad with desserts etc so hopefully won't go too far backwards.

NantucketNightbird · 21/05/2016 10:35

Hav that's great going! Hey rince hope you are having a great time, don't worry about what you eat I didn't when I was away and by the time I had weighed again any weight I had gained had come off and more. You will bounce straight back Smile.
I'm doing good here had some cake and pizza for DH birthday on Wednesday but cut back accordingly the next few days. Hoping for a 1b loss on Monday.

I'm back! I'm just hanging on in there, 12st 8lb today so 4lbs down since I first posted about 6 weeks ago. I have motivation now as booked a holiday for 6 weeks time. Great to see you are all still doing amazingly. Will need to make a point of coming back to this thread to keep me going Smile

NantucketNightbird · 23/05/2016 14:09

Welcome back raccoon Smile
1lb off for me this week, I've been very strict but no walking as it rained so much last week. I'm due my period literally tomorrow so I will be glad I feel so bloated. 4lb to go to the target I originally set myself of 9st 7! Hoping to be there by June 7th then dead on 9st by July 11th when we go to butlins.
How is everyone else doing?

10st, 9.4lbs!!!!! That's 1 lb down this week.

Smile

Am happy!

Rinceoir · 24/05/2016 23:58

Well done to you all! I got back from my hols this afternoon and was delighted to find I was down a half lb! I expect it might jump up next week (have a trip home for a family party this weekend too) but am hoping my choices were reasonable and that perhaps all the walking I did helped.

NantucketNightbird · 25/05/2016 10:40

Wow rince! You are made of super stuff Grin. Great going hav. I got my period today so I'm feeling a bit better bloat wise already. It's freezing here! I'm definitely feeling the cold more now I'm not so padded, I've put the heating on!

OP posts:
Blueraccoon · 25/05/2016 22:08

Freezing here too! Just had glass of wine, lump of cheese and 2 small biscuits. Not too worried, still feeling motivated. Off to bed now and strict again tomorrow.

Rinceoir · 30/05/2016 08:06

Hello all, down 1.5lbs this week. So that's 3 stone on the button. Had a massive meal out on Saturday so I'm hoping those calories don't take effect later in the week! Hope everyone is having a nice bank holiday weekend.

Blueraccoon · 30/05/2016 08:58

Congratulations Rince, you must be over the moon to have lost 3 stone! Hope you had a good holiday too.

Well, mid week I hopped on the scales and was down another 1lb. Then I half starved over the weekend and went swimming so expected to be 2 lb down this morning. Nope. Same weight as last Monday! I couldn't believe it. Sad

Am going to weigh myself again tomorrow - hoping it was just a blip.

PirateFairy45 · 30/05/2016 09:03

I'm in.

Rinceoir · 30/05/2016 09:48

Thanks blue, I was very emotionally invested in getting to 3 stone down alright. The lbs are coming off slower at this point and I still have 2-2.5 stone more to lose so it's a long way off but I'm determined to get there. Went shopping in my pre-baby wardrobe this weekend and can squeeze into some of my old jeans and dresses. Some more that I should be able to wear at another stone down so I'm popping them in my wardrobe as motivation. I have a beautiful black leather pencil skirt that I would love to fit into by September/October. It cost me a fortune and I wore it a lot so I'd love to be able to wear it again this winter.

Blue scales can be treacherous- step on 5 times in an hour and you'll get 5 results. When I'm home I pop on most mornings and I bob up and down but overall trend week by week is down whichever is the main thing. I also find that results can be delayed a bit- a good week might take 2 to show on scales.

Fossie · 30/05/2016 19:49

My main weigh day was Friday. I lost 21 pounds at week 21 so pleased with that though I have relaxed a bit since then. Oh well, back to it tomorrow.

NantucketNightbird · 31/05/2016 07:38

Hello all Smile that's great going all you losers. Rince 3st that's amazing you should be so proud. I'm in exact same boat at the start my losses were 4lb a week but now it's 1lb at a push 2lb. But that's fine as it's all going that's the main thing. No weigh for me this week as our boots didn't open on a bank holiday (very small town). So I will weigh next Monday.

It's been lovely weather so we have been at the beach most days, it's the good thing about pembrokeshire. Yesterday we decided to go to porthcawl, I used to go as a child on coach trips and have great memories. Well the place is awful! Don't ever go! So we went on down to the boating lake and outside pool in swansea didn't get back until late. It's a quiet day in today, we are turfing the garden. Hope everyone has a good week, and has lovely weather.

Blueraccoon · 31/05/2016 08:40

1.5 lb down this morning, that's better. It's so true about scales Rince, thanks for the encouragement.

Rinceoir · 31/05/2016 10:49

That's great news Blue, well done! The weather is not lovely in London. It's like a scene from the day after tomorrow.

havalina1 · 01/06/2016 21:55

I didn't weigh myself this week as my damn period is due and I feel bloated and I know I'll weigh heavy and feel shite about it!

Off to Ireland for a few days, lying low with my mum, can't wait. She's is really into healthy eating so that will help!

Rinceoir · 03/06/2016 14:08

Hope you are having a nice time at home, weather much nicer than in England right now (for a change!). How's everyone? I'm working all weekend I'm afraid so will try to do some meal prep tonight.
