Alevere / Alizonne

dm2ooo · 23/03/2015 11:46

For reasons unknown, the name of the Alizonne diet has changed to Alevere. I have only known it as Alevere and wanted to start a new thread so people can find it under the new name.

I am nearing the end of week 1 and have lost 8lbs so far. I don't count this much as I lose 7lbs in the first week of any diet. I'll see how I go over the next few weeks.

It's a lot of work to follow but I'm getting used to it. Would be happy to swap tips with anyone - particularly on recipes.

Also very happy as I won £500 today which covers a lot of the 1st month costs!!! :)

Thanks bubbles. You're probably on less than 500 Cals at the minute.

You've got to keep me going!!! Have you tried the strawberry milkshake or banana dessert? The banana is great as a milkshake too. The bars are a good wee change too!

Make sure you're eating your salad/veg too as that breaks the sachets up!

Cdc1997 · 28/02/2016 19:44

I've been getting fed up of the sachets bubbles but tried the strawberry milkshake this week & it's really nice also made the oatmeal Apple cookies today and they were nice too :) have you tried stuffed mushrooms with the feta cheese melted on top that makes a nice change ? I'm running out of ideas now But I'm halfway through now so battling on :)

BexxG · 28/02/2016 20:19

Hi bubbles, i went off all the sachets apart from the hot chocolate so i feel your pain. The other drink that i didnt mind was making the vanilla desert with about 100mls of extra water and adding a shot of coffee. Makes a nice vanilla latte and is way nicer than the cappucino (which i found ghastly).

Theres 110cals in each sachet so we're on 550 calories a day and whatever veg and salad we have which isnt a lot.

Hope everyone has a good week. I'm dreading weigh in on Wednesday. It was my daughter's birthday yesterday and I had cake Shock Shock Shock

starfish11 · 29/02/2016 07:50

My third weigh in on Wednesday 3lb off losing my 1st stone
So far I've been quite clinical about it & living of the drinks occasional soup & omelette with bowl of salad or fried mushrooms spring onion with omelette also with a 3 hour food timer on my phone but I think Ive started to hit my wall & need to pull my finger out try some variations
Well done everyone I think you should be proud no matter what your loss it's far from easy living off 800 cals a day

bubblesMcgraw · 29/02/2016 09:24

BexxG..........Cake......(said in Homer Simpson voice) not sure I remember what that is exactly. However, back on plan this morning after digging out a (very old)pair of size 12 trousers and (with a huge intake of breath) managed to do them up. Certainly not ready to wear them in the real world BUT a step in the right direction to gee me up again. Thanks to Cupcake, BexxG(Cake....) and cDc for the sachet smashing idea's. Tally Ho!!!!! Smile

Hi xbella
I would be interested in the chocolate desserts & pancakes but don't know how to send a pm on here?

xbella91x1 · 01/03/2016 21:52

Ideally I am looking to sell the lot in one go. The cost for all of everything listed works out to be around £108. I am looking for £50 so it's a bargain with so many meals X

bubblesMcgraw · 02/03/2016 20:56

How are we all doing? I've just fallen off the lorry and had sea bream with runner beans......I think that's three Hail Mary's and a pound Smile

Susieq55 · 02/03/2016 21:37

Sounds deelish!! I can't imagine it will do that much damage x

Cdc1997 · 03/03/2016 07:37

Cdc1997 · 03/03/2016 21:23

I dreamt I was drinking a glass of prossecco last night Shock was lovely ha ha

alphachick007 · 04/03/2016 16:51

Hi all,
Do you make the chocolate brownies or are they something someone has worked out a recipe for?
Many thanks

Susieq55 · 04/03/2016 18:28

Hi alphachick
They are just one of the sachets. The instructions say to microwave but if you have time I think cooking in the oven gives a better result. I usually have mine with some strawberries or raspberries

Carrielyn · 06/03/2016 15:04

Only lost pound and half! No chat or support from therapist either. Fed up. Still, did find I was eating rhubarb at wrong times. Will do better this week.

Cupcake0310 · 06/03/2016 15:32

Carrielyn, what week are you on? I had a low loss every 3 weeks, some people have it every 4 weeks. Don't be disheartened though. Keep going, it's a long term goal!

I've decided I like to punish myself! I'm on holiday in Tenerife, sticking the diet! It's actually tougher here than back home. Wanted to lose 0.5stone while I'm here so I can start stage 2 when I'm back!

Determination is key to this diet! Grin

Cdc1997 · 09/03/2016 21:50

Had my 9th weigh in on Tuesday & only lost a pound :( so hard when your loss is so low :( 1stone 12 lb off so far I only have six week left & really want to get another stone off but I'm sticking to it so strict I just have to be patient & stick with it I guess :)

starfish11 · 10/03/2016 06:48

@Cdc1997 I had my 4th weigh in yesterday & have been sticking to it by the letter I only lost 2lb I have been feeling crap this week as well headaches tiredness so last night was ready to dip chocolate biscuits in my tea with milk and sugar!!! But I put them back & got my herbal tea out instead let's hope we get better one next week to give us a boost

Cupcake0310 · 10/03/2016 09:15

Hi all, please please please don't be disheartened about low weight losses. You are doing this for a long term goal and Rome wasn't built in a day.

I didn't focus on the week to week but aimed for 1st a month and succeeded up to the last 4th stone which it slowed down a bit, but I kept going as I've invested so much money in this.

Starfish, well done for not dipping the biscuit, it's very tempting I know. Worth giving the clini a buzz about the headaches but make sure you're drinking at least 2 litres of water. If you're having really long days, you might need a 6th sachet.

You are all doing great so keep going and think of the bikini body! X

Lou1990 · 10/03/2016 23:20

Hi all,

I have finally plucked up courage to join the chat, I would have been happy with any loss at all but actually put 4 lbs on!!!!

Cupcake0310 · 10/03/2016 23:55

Welcome Lou, has the clinic gave you any idea why that's happened?

Lou1990 · 11/03/2016 08:17

Hi Cupcake,

They are baffled! They have suggested more in depth blood tests which I will have next week but I have already had tests for thyroid which was fine so I am not sure what the problem could be. I am sticking to the diet and making sure I drink enough water. I hope the blood tests show some reason for it so I can crack on with losing the weight!!!

Cupcake0310 · 11/03/2016 09:19

That's really annoying! Hopefully the blood tests will shed some light! Keep us posted and good luck x
