Alevere / Alizonne

dm2ooo · 23/03/2015 11:46

For reasons unknown, the name of the Alizonne diet has changed to Alevere. I have only known it as Alevere and wanted to start a new thread so people can find it under the new name.

I am nearing the end of week 1 and have lost 8lbs so far. I don't count this much as I lose 7lbs in the first week of any diet. I'll see how I go over the next few weeks.

It's a lot of work to follow but I'm getting used to it. Would be happy to swap tips with anyone - particularly on recipes.

Also very happy as I won £500 today which covers a lot of the 1st month costs!!! :)

Hello I started the therapy 1 week ago and have been following the diet plan and had two sessions of the therapy and at the end of week 1 I haven't made much progress and have lost less than 1 kg. I don't understand why I am not losing as much as is expected.

I would imagine that I should be losing at least 2 kg a week to meet my target within 8 weeks. Its very depressing.

anybody has any idea..please!!!

Slimslimslim47 · 01/01/2016 12:44

Cake123. Have you been drinking the amount of water you should? This is really important especially on the day and day after you treatment try to get about 2 1/2 litres in. Also are you eating lots of unlimited veg and what limited are you eating. I find that the less I eat of this the lower my weight loss is. - also I have stayed away from satsumas and clementines as they seemed to slow my weight loss down. Make sure you weight and measure everything and if it is not on the diet sheet don't eat it - if you are using vingar make sure it is not balsamic many of the flavoured ones are even if they don't say they are and that will have an affect. Finally if you have been more active you maybe building up muscle which weighs more than the fat / so do your clothes feel looser. It will all sort itself out and good luck x

Cupcake0310 · 01/01/2016 13:27

Cake123 well done for starting! My first week wasn't a great loss but my second week was. Takes your body time to adjust to the new regime. As SSS47 says, drink and eat as much as you can of the veg etc as it gets everything going.

Just to warn you every 3 weeks can be a lower loss too so don't get down about it!

I'm at the clinic tomorrow and will hopefully of lost 3 stone but I've still got a long way to go. It's the most mentally challenging thing I've done so keep going! You've done the toughest part by starting!

wolfie100 · 01/01/2016 14:56

Happy healthy new year everyone.

A big tip for everyone - don't finish the diet just before Christmas - it's really really hard!

I have only put 5 lbs on so its not too bad. When I finished the diet I was 9 stone 7 and now am 9 stone 12 - that's 5 lbs in 3 weeks. It's not great but I have enjoyed Christmas and it could have been a lot lot worse. Back on the straight and narrow now and am back at the clinic for a maintenance review tomorrow and am expecting a slap on the wrist! The key is that I am determined to stay under 10 stone and as long as I hold onto the determination I will win through. It really helps reading everyone's posts as it reminds me what I went through to get here and how hard a journey it is.

Well done all of you who stayed on track over Christmas or kept things in moderation. It seems to be the one time of year everyone goes for it so really well done if you managed to avoid this.

Am glad the madness is over and am looking forward to getting rid of all evidence of Christmas this weekend and getting back to work and a healthy routine with no temptation - this is the key for me. On the plus side I have managed to get more exercise done over Christmas and have at least stayed off the alcohol if not the chocolate!

Best wishes for 2016 - keep focuses on how much slimmer you will be by the time the sun comes out and it's time for a new summer wardrobe!
Xxx

Happy new year to everyone! Off for my first app today- you all inspired me to sign up before Xmas, and got all clear on bloods so it's all systems go. Almost fell at first hurdle- tried to make egg white omelette with powdered egg and it frothed so much looked like a bubble bath in kitchen lol so many things to learn..

Shellywelly48 · 02/01/2016 22:09

Hi everyone - over the last few months I've read all your posts going right back to the start and have finally saved up enough to start the journey myself so signed up today and got a consultation on 1st Feb. I think you are all amazing and no doubt will need your support along my journey. I will be back on when D day arrives ☺.
In the meantime congrats to Wolfie100 you are an inspiration x

BexxG · 03/01/2016 08:40

Happy New Year everyone, and welcome to all you newcomers.

Lots of different people on here, different ages, different weights, different lives, we're all at different stages of the programme and all have different ways of dealing lol but we all encourage and support each other and its probably the people on here that have helped me the most and kept me going.

Dont be afraid to ask questions or vent frustrations. We've all done it more than once on our journeys and you'll find there is always someone who is feeling the same and always someone with ideas to help.

It's tough, but worth it.

Smile

As an older lady who is about to embark on the diet and skin tightening sessions, I would like to know how effective the treatment is for older ladies. What happens to breast tissue in particular? I am not expecting a miracle but it would be good to know what your experience has been.

Optimistic61 · 05/01/2016 00:56

Hi

Cupcake0310 · 05/01/2016 07:43

Hi Optimistic, I'm not an older lady but I've lost 3.3 st on the diet and my chest has gone up 3 cup sizes. None of the treatments go near my chest and asked at my weigh in this week what I could do and was told that the chest area either stays or goes. There is no common theme. Good luck with the diet!

Quack32 · 05/01/2016 08:31

4.3 kgs down in my first week !! Yay!!
;)

Optimistic61 · 05/01/2016 08:55

Hi Cupcake

Well done on loosing so much weight. I didn't ask the doctor about sagging breasts but from what you say it's up to nature. Anyone else any experience of this?
Thank you.

alphachick007 · 05/01/2016 16:23

Hi Optimistic,
I am an older lady, 61 yrs. I have lost 3stone half with Alevere and half without. The skin tightening has worked far better this time than when previously I dieted without help of the 2 machines. My breasts are sagging a bit but my cup size hasn't reduced although the size under my breast has reduced by inches.
All in all my waist is sagging a bit but I intend to continue with the skin tightening once I reach my target weight. That's what has been suggested.

Optimistic61 · 05/01/2016 17:39

Thank you Alphachick that is very helpful. Sounds sensible to keep going with the treatment if need be.

Cupcake0310 · 05/01/2016 18:15

Well done Quack! Great first week loss!

luckylori22 · 05/01/2016 20:06

Curtain30 · 05/01/2016 21:06

Hi everyone! Wow some amazing and inspiring posts, I've been debating this plan for a while after many years "yo yo" dieting and then following the birth of my daughter 2 years ago my weight has just crept up on me and now I'm the biggest I've ever been in my whole life 😂 so I've decided to take control and sort it out so I went to the clinic on Saturday and am now day 3 into my first week 😃 going ok so far just finding out what I like and how to manage it all I'm hopeful once through the first few weeks are done it will become easier, have really loved reading all your tips and ideas so please keep them coming! Anyone got any inspiring ideas on what to do with the 'chicken goujons' they are somewhat very bland on there own and also I know mushrooms are an unlimited food but does that mean portobello mushrooms as well? Sorry if that's a daft question just really don't want to be eating anything I shouldn't be 🙈

Curtain30 · 07/01/2016 07:30

Portobello mushrooms are unlimited xx

Quack32 · 07/01/2016 07:52

Thanks Cupcake! At the clinic today for my first WI, let's hope I've lost - a bit more.

Curtain 30 - I've just completed my first week so we are at a similar stage. How are you finding the sachets? Which ones are your favourites?

I have a nearly two year old too, he's been staring at my shakes haha. Good luck with your journey.

Carrielyn · 07/01/2016 11:20

Hi all! Am part way through my first week- not hungry like I expected to be, tho I'm puzzling at how to cook some of the less obvious sachets like chicken nuggets. Is there an instruction sheet ive not found yet? I've got the recipes but they seem to mix packets mostly. Can't wait4 first weigh in on Saturday 😃

Cupcake0310 · 07/01/2016 11:34

Hi Carrielyn, the instructions are on the bottom left corner of the front card in each box. Not an obvious place at all!
Good luck on your first weigh in!

Curtain30 · 07/01/2016 18:02

Hi good to know others are at the same stage in this journey!

Quack32- hope today went well, I'm excited for you!

I'm getting on ok with the sachets didn't like the orange and pineapple drink at first as it was to thick but I rang clinic and asked if I could dilute it with more water than what the packet said and they said I could so been mixing it in about 500ml of water and loads better I can now stomach it! The vannila desert and hot chocolate are my favourite so far, also like the spicy chicken so I've been adding spinach leaves to it instead if bread 😉 have ordered some different ones for my weigh in saturday so that I can try a few others, how are you getting on with the sachets?

Carrielyn- I'm also having my first weigh in Saturday wish good luck to you hope it's a good loss the 'chicken goujons' were awful at first but I have been adding chilli powder to the mixture and having it with a portobello mushroom and spinach leaves carnt believe I'm saying this but actually really tastey!!!

Susieq55 · 07/01/2016 19:33

Just starting out on my Alevere journey & Mumsnet popped up on my search for more info. I'm more than a little confused with all the different tablets & extras on top of the sachets & fruit, veg & salad. Any advice on how to plan my day? I'm a little disappointed in the lack of info from my clinic :-(
