hi there. I only joined sw three weeks ago so am very new to all this. Hopefully this is the "diet" I'll manage to stick to (it will be a first !!) Here goes .......

good luck hoppymum. I am a SW veteran so if you have any questions I hope I can help. And if I can't there are loads of us here so someone will be able to. I know all the theory - it's putting it into practise that is so hard

good luck hoppy mum - I have stopped and started too many times now myself and have really worn myself out!! This time I'm trying to do it for real. Going out tomorrow night for Salsa night, hoping dancing equals out the wine and food!!!

AS long as you tell your class leader your bf you'll have no problem i think they allow you extra's but u'd need to check.

i lost 4.5 pounds this week

hi,
i am going to start slimming world soon and wanted to check whether it's safe to do when ttc and pregnant. i heard it was since you got to eat as much as you want? i'm about 3 stone overweight at the moment and don't eat very healthily so i thought that i'll join and either lose weight before i get pregnant (if it takes me a while to conceive) or eat more healthily if i do get pregnant immediately. anyone else in this position?

DelGirl · 11/06/2004 14:39

Hi munchkinsuzie. You can follow SW whilst pregnant - I think it's the only 'diet' that midwives don't have a problem with. To be sure you could always check with Mears. I'm trying to follow SW and I shall be starting another course of IUI in 2 weeks and if successful, will try and carry on with it whilst pregnant. hth. I think when you are pregnant you have extra choices and can eat slightly more than usual, i.e cheese etc.
