Just thought I would start a new thread, seeing as we are perilously close to the 1000 posts cut off!

We have all started WW this January and so far so good, we are all losing. This is a really supportive group. Please feel free to join us and share your WW tips and any recipes that you may have. Smile

Well done Crunchie!!!! I agree about the fat bits, I think it is because they are furthest away from the hot bits Wink.

I have been good today food wise but I need to up my exercise. I was so good but the weather has really put me off (we have high winds and hail!). I want to put in my exercise dvd but hate it when everyone is home.

I have spent the morning making a 350/1 scale drawing of our new house to make sure the furniture I want to order will fit nicely Blush. DH looks somewhat Hmm.

AddictedtoCrunchies · 24/03/2013 16:43

confusion I did the exact same thing when we moved.

I'm still snuggled under the duvet Grin

fledtoscotland · 24/03/2013 17:21

Well done crunchie!!!!!ThanksThanks

MsIngaFewmarbles · 24/03/2013 18:24

Oh well done Crunchie :)

Another question, how many activity points is 30 day shred? It nearly kills me so I'm guessing high intensity for 20 minutes?

mylittlecherub · 24/03/2013 20:04

Evening everyone,

Well I must of jinxed myself yesterday of me having a "good week" my car got stuck in the snow luckily for me some off roading lads happened to be coming along the same road and pulled me out... Well after that drama I swiftly went home scoffed apple pie with cream, peanut kitkat bar and several glasses of wine :( I didn't bother to point that lot up and it definitely could of been worse if I had more yummy's in the house, annoyed with myself! Wine just sends me off the plan completely, I seem to lose all inabitions, maybe I should learn something from that :S at least today's been slightly better...ish

Back on it tomorrow!!

ONTHEMETRO - I'm with you on the normal person eating thing, although I find it hard to decipher whether I'm actually hungry or not. I've heard a few people do the "if its not born or grown" don't eat it, think there might be something in that, might stop me from wasting away points on crisps etc..

CiderwithBuda · 25/03/2013 11:28

Wine sends me off plan too mylittlecherub. Every single weekend. Sigh.

As it did this weekend. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Even ended up at MacDonalds yesterday. DS has a friend here for a few days so I took them bowling and then to MacDonalds for lunch. I did only have a cheeseburger and small fries rather than my usual big Mac and large fries. Dinner was turkey, ham and all the trimmings. There was lots of wine.

And I haven't done my c25k either. Blush

Taking car in for service this afternoon and will walk home after and then back to get it. It's about 35/40 mins each way so will do a run on the way back.

CiderwithBuda · 25/03/2013 11:29

Oh - well done crunchie! Impressive!

fledtoscotland · 25/03/2013 16:23

Am polishing my halo as went to McDonald's with DS2 for lunch today. I had a grilled chicken & salad wrap and about 6 chips so 10pts for wrap and counted 2 for the chips.

SallyBear · 25/03/2013 16:38

Decorating the dining room so the six of us are having Dominos. Hmmm think that will be my weeklies used up on day one of this week! No change so not great but better than a gain. Smile

Happy Monday everyone... I fell off the WW wagon in spectacular fashion this weekend. Saturday went like this - wine, pizza, wine, roast dinner with proper dauphinose (sp?) potatoes (made with double cream!!), wine, banoffee pie, wine, wine wine. Sunday went like this - bacon sarnie with 4 rashers, tea, haribo, tea, pizza hut, garlic bread, tea. Blush

Today I've been a saint and stuck well within my dailies. But somehow I think the damage has been done. Trying to think light thoughts between now and Saturday weigh in but think it's a little optimistic. Hopefully if I be angelic the rest of the week I can limit the damage somehow.

Boot up backside required / Crunchie line!

MsIngaFewmarbles · 25/03/2013 21:20

I am hormonal. I need chocolate. My husband is 150 miles away. My 3yo is asleep upstairs. Aaaaargh.

Dancermeg · 25/03/2013 21:48

No change for me this week Angry BUT had my gym induction this afternoon and discovered that the scales at the gym weighed 7lb lighter than mine at home! I knew there would be some difference but I feel a hell of a lot better thinking I'm half a stone lighter than I was this morning haha! (Although I think I'll stick to my home scales to make me work harder!)

Have discovered morrisons nume Melba toast (2pp for 6 pieces) with 30g of light Philly with chives (1pp) as a yummy afternoon snack :-)

Dancermeg · 25/03/2013 22:06

Also, it seems like a lot of us have struggled this week so I just wanted to say keep at it Smile and it may sound odd but knowing that its not just me that has had a small loss (or none at all in my case) has given me the motivation to carry on and work harder this week!

MsIngaFewmarbles · 25/03/2013 22:08

That's amazing about the scales meg.

My bra is gappy already but my jeans are still tight Hmm

onthemetro · 25/03/2013 22:28

Big hugs for everyone struggling. Jazzcat, I had a similar few days last week and managed to minimise the damage by drinking loads of water & green tea (not all that nice but I have the Clipper green tea & lemon with a little bit of sweetener and its not bad) and I ate grilled chicken with lemon and lots of roasted vegetables for about 3 days! Managed to stay the same, definitely would've gained if I hadn't done all that I think. And it helped me feel less bloated and yucky.

Meg, that's awesome! Must have been great to see Grin

Doretaball · 26/03/2013 08:53

Morning all. I stayed the same this week. Was actually pleased as I was expecting a gain.

Not doing so well this week. Didn't point yesterday at all. May try and track back. Will start afresh today. Am only 3lbs away from getting down into the 10s, a weight I haven't been since I had dysentery about 12 years ago. Now that was an effective weight loss plan!!

inquisitivemummy · 26/03/2013 17:24

Hello everyone, havent been on in a week so depressed!

WEll done everyone on the loses and focus wish i had the same willpower :)

I'm gettin w tomorrow something tells me the scales will not lie and tell me i've put on a stone!!

I dont know if this is just me but when i'm in a shitty mood all i wanna do is stuff my face with shit and at the time I dont care about points! I still track and unbelieveably go way over my points! I really really really wanna get out off this cycle.....anyone any advice?

On a lighter note I tried the jerk chicken from last mag and it was so yummy even DP loved it and hes a pickie eater.

poorpaws · 26/03/2013 22:32

Big hugs inquisitive, I think you need a hug. Hang on in there, Spring is just around the corner and it will get easier. I eat more when Im fed up too.

I'm feeling very pleased with myself tonight as I've been out twice for lunch(nowhere special) and managed to stay within my points. I had a chicken and rocket sandwich 7ppts which I thought was a lot for a little sandwich in M and S cafe (but I usually have carrot cake too 25ppts and I resisted). Today Ive been for lunch with a friend and chose grilled chicken and bacon salad and I had the dressing on the side so that I only used half of it (10 ppts). I usually have sticky toffee pudding and custard at this particular place but again resisted. My halo is shining brightly (just hope I can keep this up). Its a long, long way to wi a week on Friday.

Thechick · 27/03/2013 06:40

I've been having a bad week too. I had my wi on Saturday and I sts, but since then I've been going into my weeklies every day. I've been feeling a bit off and have been starving and craving carbs. I'm bf so wanting to listen to my body. Not sure if I should just right this week off and start again next week, but it's Easter and we have a family meal and I bought myself a small egg so that's going to be a bad start to the week too.

fledtoscotland · 27/03/2013 08:02

Weigh in time is in 2hrs. How can I loose weight in that timeframe Blush

chillyigloo · 27/03/2013 08:45

Woohoo - got my 1st stone! And resisted the almost overwhelming urge to get a portion of celebratory chips from the chippy next door to weigh-in place on my way home (It's a really mean place to hold a weight watchers meeting!) even though they smelt delicious.

I'm going to try the ww recipe for carrot cake muffins later. I LOVE carrot cake and have a delicious recipe which is always popular but on recipe builder it came in at about 19pp per slice :-O

AddictedtoCrunchies · 27/03/2013 10:08

well done chilly. Thanks Thanks

I'm out for dinner tonight and really need to stay in control. I'm going to allow myself a main of steak and salad. But there will be dauph pots so need to factor in some of them too. Just stay in control Crunchie. You can do it.Confused
