Wow! Lots of new people still, and more questions! Will try and answer them:
Bessie123 - 5 cherry tomatoes is unlikely to have derailed you! They will be around 3.5g in total, so not a problem
KickArseQueen - if you need to avoid gluten then low carbing is perfect for you! Your carbs should be coming mainly from vegetables and salad and you shouldn't be eating bread or pasta anyway
TheSloppelGanger - that's a US site, so I'm not sure how reliable those counts will be, as they are probably based on US brands. Also, they measure carbs differently - you need to make sure you are using the net carb count, not the carb count including fibre
Essexgirl31 - this WOE is harder if you are a vegetarian, although lots of people do succeed. Rose Elliot's book is often recommended here. Re vegetarian sausages and Quorn, it will depend what brand you buy or what Quorn product you buy. Cauldron vegetarian sausages are 3g per sausage, which is quite high - but other brands could be lower. Quorn mince is 4.5g carbs per 100g. Although that's not too high, when you consider that meat mince is 0g carbs, you can see that adding Quorn could quickly raise your overall carb count
Rubygates - hello! And step away from the chocolate ...
Pistey - sloshing with water now I hope, rather than sloe gin?
Guymartins - I haven't given up drinking coffee with milk. I really don't like it black, and only just tolerate it with cream. So my solution is to try and restrict myself to 2 cups per day.
FallingOver - cinema snacks are hard, unless you're prepared to take hard boiled eggs or packets of sliced meat into the cinema with you! But it raises a really interesting point. Are you snacking in the cinema because you are hungry, or because we have become conditioned to snacking in the cinema? (No coincidence that the profits for cinema chains come from their sales of food and drink, by the way!)
DangerousMouse - there is a list of allowed foods somewhere on this thread - I posted one a couple of days ago. Also, if you look on the spreadsheet, which is also linked to on this thread (and a new one will be posted for Monday), the tabs at the bottom will show the list of carb counts for allowed veg.
Cauldron Original Tofu is 2.3g carbs per 100g - so not too bad but, as I said to essexgirl31, that can quickly add up, so go easy
ProlificMincePieBreeder - please don't expect to lose weight overnight! It won't happen like that. Some days it will, some days it won't. Better, if you can't cope with seeing a loss per day to weigh just once a week.
frenchfries22 - I assume you are another vegetarian from your meal choices? Only thing I would warn you about is the amount of cheese/dairy you are eating. It can impede weight loss for some people. In terms of how much to eat - you need to eat enough so that you have satisfied your appetite. This WOE is not about starving ourselves. There is no need to do that.
Phew! Hope that is everyone dealt with ... !
