This is a thread for those who are pig sick of over eating and binging and have decided enough is enough.

There will be no excuses on this thread...no 'oh but I was due my period' or 'oh but it was left over so I finished it' etc

IF you need to have a nice meal as part of a celebration DO IT but no more excuses - have the meal and move on.

This is a thread for the brave.....this is a thread for the serious. Join at your peril.....

Monday mornings are weigh in - so that we cannot binge on the weekends. I am deliberately being hard on myself and if you want to do it to please join. Even if someone wafts wine and banoffee pie under my nose I will not have it - even if the world is going to end I WILL NOT HAVE IT

weigh in Monday morning and post here

Oh and drink some wine and eat some choc while you still can because on Monday you will be in hell Angry

Struggling a bit today with the 'I'm hungry' grumps. I think maybe I'm pushing too hard and need to keep my blood sugars up.

Had cheese on toast and some fruit for lunch then after having done battle with my non-eating toddler we went out for coffee with a friend. Usually this would involve cake but I stuck with just a coffee. By the time we got home I was grumpy and hungry. I ended up having what ended up being a small meal (piece of bread, shortbread biscuit and malt loaf).

By the time DD had done a poo in the middle of tea time I'd lost it. I ended up lying on the bed in tears.

Toddler-related stress is one of my comfort eating cues and I definitely don't cope we'll with it when I'm hungry. Sad

Looking forward to bedtime followed by a (small) roast dinner and a (large) glass of wine.

Tomorrow is kick off time. About time for me, I caught sight of myself in the mirror and I. Look. Like. My. Mother. sigh.

So having a final Wine , for the time being anyway as drinking wine makes me want to eat the contents of the house.

Not looking forward to the weigh in tomorrow morning. BUT I will woman up and face the music.

Evening everyone

I just had a 'last meal' type thing of scrummy things with too much butter and too much chocolate. I'm going to go on the clothes horse exercise bike in a bit before I have my bath to get myself into the groove before it all begins in earnest tomorrow :)

Carrotcake I feel your toddler stress pain. DS is being a right PITA lately, so I need to re-programme myself to deal with it with exercise instead of biscuits. DS starts nursery on the 18th, so I have a little bit of free time every day instead of desperatly trying to fit everything in around him.

I probably won't be able to post my first weigh in first thing either but I will weigh myself in the morning and post when I get the chance

Wine I have avoided the scales since they clearly mistakenly told me I was three pounds away from how much I weighed immediately after dd2 Shock and that was about two weeks ago. I once got down to 12 stone 12 and looked amazing so I suppose that must be my first target. Need to say NO TO CHEESE.

hi peeps, i'm clompy and am also in need of a bit of lard shifting, i am also new to MN and am still finding my feet with it all.

i would like to get to bout 11.5st but would be happy to just shift some, my youngest starts big school on tuesday and i have used up all excuses now.

It sounds impressive fermez but I haven't started it yet. I have started it twice now, and never got past week 4 (first time I fell pg, then second time was after mc and I was too miserable/depressed to really commit to it) It will be different this time!!

ParaOlympic I've got dinner booked at school training day tomorrow too. Not sure if I should just eat what they provide but just eat a smaller portion (and not have the free chips ) or take in my own and end up sitting by myself to eat it. I'm all stomach too but at least that means when the weight comes off it comes off the stomach first and it's more obvious straight away I think.

I've had a last blow out today. I have eaten cheesecake and sweets in order to use them all up before I start properly tomorrow. I will weigh myself first thing but might not be able to post til later as I'll be back at work :(

Can I join you?
I weigh at least 16 st Shock possibly more as not weighed myself for a few weeks. Biggest I have ever been and I hate it but it doesn't stop me binge eating or eating crap.
For example over the course of the day yesterday, I ate 5 kitkat chunky bars. Shouldn't have bought a multi pack on offer!
This is going to be tough for me. I don't enjoy food anymore just shovel in any crap. I don't know what to eat.
Only exercise I do is walking dc to school which is a mile each way.
Going to need a massive kick up the bum.

Can I join please? 3 stone needs to go. I turn 40 in 4 months. I really want to do this but need some support (especially at 4.30 when getting kids tea ready I have found in the past!). I have finished the vino and got the healthy stuff in. Ready!!!

Morning all!

First day in new job today. I've had my bowl of cereal as I'm sick of feeling starving all day. First time I've had breakfast in years. To be honest it's made me feel really, really sick. Hope this passes.

Back this evening to see how everyone's getting on. Out of interest, are there any other people on here who NEVER buy/eat sweet stuff - but binge massively on savoury? Just curious.
