This is a thread for those who are pig sick of over eating and binging and have decided enough is enough.

There will be no excuses on this thread...no 'oh but I was due my period' or 'oh but it was left over so I finished it' etc

IF you need to have a nice meal as part of a celebration DO IT but no more excuses - have the meal and move on.

This is a thread for the brave.....this is a thread for the serious. Join at your peril.....

Monday mornings are weigh in - so that we cannot binge on the weekends. I am deliberately being hard on myself and if you want to do it to please join. Even if someone wafts wine and banoffee pie under my nose I will not have it - even if the world is going to end I WILL NOT HAVE IT

weigh in Monday morning and post here

Oh and drink some wine and eat some choc while you still can because on Monday you will be in hell Angry

I'm currently trying to convince my body that yes getting out of bed is a good thing .let alone working out .

Morning all. Well done for getting out of bed human - you sound very positive and You will do it for your holiday. You have been so dedicated to your exercise.
tortoise if you have a few better days you could well lose weight or stay the same and with regards to compulsive eaters - if you have managed to stay the same you have a victory - you are still making concious eating choices and are getting it under control. It is not easy when you have been eating out of control for long time.
rowingboat I have had some of those pizzas and they are yummy! Very crisp. Have a nice coffee morning and lunch. Better to have one blow out day then to keep it going over a few days eh? I am out shopping today for the first time in ages and I am having a piece of cake. I will be just having a Glorious skinny soup for tea though...I hope I still lose weight.

You can I been dieting for 3 months now and excerscing for 8 weeks and I can finally see the difference so it drives me on and last night someone finally commented on wow you lost weight Grin

I need help! A kick up the bum or something.
I feel like i've slipped back into my old self. The 'oh well, i don't care, im going to eat that' person that i thought i had got control of.

Tonight i had cheese burger and chips for dinner. Not from take away but sure just as bad!

I can feel the weight creeping back on already and i need to break this habit Sad but what if i can't?

You CAN do it Tortoise. Have you got some healthy recipes for the food you love? I regularly have 'SW chips' (mine are wedges because I cba to peel potatoes) which are chipped potatoes, sprayed with fry-light and baked in the oven for approx 30 mins. They are nice made with sweet potatoes too.

The Slimming World website has some lovely recipes for some old favourites made healthier, I love their diet coke chicken or chicken chow mein. Or the Hairy Bikers have a diet book out, I think it's £6 in ASDA. Or google healthy recipes for whatever you fancy. Do you do much cooking for yourself?

Do you want to be slimmer? If the answer to that is yes then you CAN be slimmer, you just need the tools to do it.

tortoise please don't give up just because you've had a couple of bad days. Tomorrow's a new day, hopefully your cold will be a little better, and you can start again.

Go back to your entries at the start of the week. You got below 16 st and you were so positive. You can be like that again.

As it's the weekend can you have a day out with dc to take your mind off things? Can you take them swimming or to the park. Quite a big motivater for me is I want to be able to keep up with dds.

For *** sake why don't you all get on the low carb idea? This thread frustrates the hell out of me, you are all battling so hard with a road to nowhere...ditch carbs, stop counting SS, SW, WW or whatever you are counting, stop obsessing, craving and just enjoy food but low carb. FFS its so much easier than you are doing!

Going into town on the train tomorrow so will be doing lots of walking. Hopefully getting some more fish for our tank Smile

Also have costumes to create for our local children's carnival. DD1s is quite a challenge! Actually, DD2s isn't easy either and only have a week to make them now! So unorganized.

spam - welcome to the thread. Do you think we had not considered low carb? Many of us have been on this road for years. THIS time we are coming to terms with having a disordered eating pattern. Carbs are the least of our problems. This time we ARE losing weight. weigh in is going very well for many of us.

tortoise Today is a fresh day. Take a hold of yourself, block out the need to binge and block out your cravings. You NEED a new you. Some hunger and cravings never killed anybody. Go through the detox again - you will come out fighting!

Morning all.
Off out in a bit. Got to buy paint and tape etc to make costumes/props! Then this afternoon will be spent creating them with DDs. DD1s involves paper mache which will be fun lol. Hope the sun stays out so we can dry each layer quicker.

Ok I had a bad day yesterday...I had the cake and couldn't really stop myself from eating more nice food so trying to be extra good today.

However, I am feeling very down. I am struggling with it again. I haven't heard from my husband in a while....I miss him and I hate where I live. I have had enough and might just stay fat. You shouldn't have to hear this from the PERSON that STARTED the thread...I am still being good but my mind is telling me to give it up.

My will power is being tested so badly. I have no family, no husband and really no friends...just people I see for a cuppa but they have no idea what I am going through with food. I have (like so many of you) a real food disorder.

Oh youcan you sound so down. You can do it, even though it is really tough. Focus on how much better you will feel when you have lost the weight and how much more your dh will fancy you when he comeshome to the new svelte you. Is there anything that would make you start liking where you live? Do you have any hobbies that could help you make friends?

I had a tough day yesterday too. It was the day I was supposed to leave work for mat leave, but instead I dealt with bad behaviour, no homework and a nose bleed caused by 2 boys fighting :( So I had peanuts, cake, and haribos Blush. I want to say I'll be very good today to make up for it but I've already had a packet of crisps that I wasn't supposed to have.

Will I start the new thread now we're nearly out of this one?

Thank you for replying - I am glad that it wasn't just me that had a bad day yesterday. I do not make friends easily any more. I move around and have secrets about my history (childhood) that affect what kind of person I am. I love spending time on my own and also like having a offe and catch up with poeple bu they can never know me.

I sound pathetic. I just miss my husband I think and feel very hungry today - always puts me in a bad mood !!

Being hungry puts me in a bad mood too. I'm always snappy and irritable if I haven't had enough to eat.
