Well some of you are, clearly!

And I notice more talk about maintenance, which is evidently a very good sign.

I think the best way for maintenance is to gradually increase your carbs until weight loss either stops or you find that you're putting weight back on.

Don't rush out and fall face first into a plate of pasta, though! Start with fruit and veg (be careful with which fruits and how much), and possibly some legumes - e.g. lentils, or beans - i.e. we're looking to add 'good' carbs into the diet, rather than rush straight into 'accessible' carbs which have an immediate impact on your blood sugars.

Today is Day 1 of Week 1 in my 'let's get that last half stone off' before I go on holiday. (Except that last night's meal, plus a bit of 'eye off the ball' time, means it's more than half a stone now ...)

Amaxapax - you're on the spreadsheet now, I hope I've got your weights right.

Also added AlpinePony and put QueenStromba in her place (alphabetically that is!).

Morning girls!

I am 2.5lbs down. Hurray! That's 10lbs in 3 weeks, despite my tomato excess and my disaster night of collapse on 2 glasses of wine! Must be the magic mushrooms I had on Friday.

I am so thrilled. I have not felt deprived at all, have been out to eat twice a week since I started, have had a couple of light G and Ts and generally loved my food. Never drunk so much water. All down to you lovely people. Thanks so much for all the support. Only 1st 2lb til I reach target (still 11st but hey, I'm quite tall.

Good luck to everyone weighing today Smile

Fiddle gawn then add me to your beloved spreadsheet please. Starting weight 11.7 and this morning 10.5! Considering I never started this woe until nine weeks ago and I am Hypothyroid I am soooo happy. Grin Grin

Greeneyes Congratulations! That is fantastic news. Please keep us updated it'll be really good to see how you cope with maintenance.

New chat thread is here

And new weigh-in thread is here

Some good losses this morning! Well done you all.

I'm 4lbs down, so back to 9.13 (and a half), but need to really break through this and get beyond it! I'm aiming to be down to 9.11 by next Monday.

tartiflette - try Stevia if you can hold of some. It is supposed to be a natural sugar replacement. You don't need as much of it to taste - I haven't used it in baking yet but at least it isn't a chemical.

FiddleDeFat · 02/07/2012 08:34

The weigh-in link above takes you direct to the spreadsheet. Link for the thread is here.

BIWItheBold · 02/07/2012 08:36

Whoops! Thanks, Fiddle
