New thread since the old one is full :)

MonsterBookOfTysons · 21/04/2012 10:14

I noticed when I had a KFC box meal :o
I have pasta with hotdogs today, Hmm not exactly what I would choose but the dc love it.

bexsybooboo · 21/04/2012 11:38

cinnamongreyhound trouble is there quarter cheese burgers are so nice Grin.

Next body pump class is on Monday and should be attending, the problem is I think i'm addicted to body pump and it burns calories for 48 hours after class so a big incentive. Hoping it's the fact I overdid the weights and I was such a weakling before lol. Smile

I put a 1ib on so no tears just annoyed at myself and ultimately blamed it on weighing a day earlier lol

KFC nom nom if we go there I have the variety meal and refuse to look at their board that tells me there is 1100 cals in it Grin

MonsterBookOfTysons · 21/04/2012 11:44

Yes I hate those boards in KFC, not helpful :o
Tell me more about body oump please, my gym membership allows me into any classes and I am sure there is a body pump one.
I have never done any classes other than aqua aerobics so would be more scared as I can normally hide the fact that my legs are doing nothing sometimes :o

How is it fair to tempt people with food that has such an obscene amount of calories in it?!?

Well I have come out of my weightloss stall and lost 0.7Kg since Thursday, my body is so annoying! Still mustn't complain, hoping for a bit more before my totm static week Grin

Looks like another run in the rain later today :(

cinnamongreyhound · 21/04/2012 13:04

Don't have to give up anything BabsJansen, just reduce it or make more sensible choices elsewhere to give you a few more cals to play with.

MonsterBookOfTysons · 21/04/2012 13:07

Babs just have wine once a week as a treat, a small glass of rose is 89 cals :)
Cinnamon well done! Hopefully you will have a few weeks if losing again, its normally how it works for me :)

bexsybooboo · 21/04/2012 15:38

monsterbookoftyson body pump is amazing. You work different parts of the body with a barbell with weights of your choice to addictive music. I also do spin occasionally but not really for me Smile

Always remember once you've done the first class you are no longer the newbie and as for how you look well when I started exercise was more than 5stone overweight, have lost 3 of those and I really learnt not to give a shiny shite any worry to how I looked at least I was there and doing it for me Smile have you got your gym to do you a personal programme, have just had mine done and feels so much better than me just doing what I think is right Smile

I also have to do the following 'hi my name is becky and I had a McDonalds quarter cheese for dinner Blush

Just checked BabsJansen and for yesterday your total was 1396 ish but only 800 showed up in your three meals and today only lunch is there. Have seen that with others too, not sure why.

BehindLockNumberNine · 21/04/2012 22:26

Help, it is weigh-in day first thing tomorrow morning and am already nervous....
Have been under my cal goal every day, but not drunk as much water as I should and .... yikes, I hate weighing in...

MonsterBookOfTysons · 21/04/2012 22:55

Behind you are doing really well, you will be fine :)
Bexsy I joined my local council pool/gym, I get free classes and pool and health suite which I don't use, I don't like just sitting there :o and haven't paid the extra £20 to have the induction at the gym so no personal program. :)

BehindLockNumberNine · 22/04/2012 09:31

Woohoo! Lost 1.2kg, so that makes a total of 4kg (which is around 9lbs) lost so far. Am thrilled Grin

Right, have been looking into C25k. How do you do the timings (the 60 second run / 90 second walk thing). Do you download it onto an mp3 player?

Am also going to look into water aerobics - I used to love that in my slimmer days... Would it be any good? I am thinking the water resistance will make it a bit like weight / strength training? And iirc we used foam dumbells under water too...

MonsterBookOfTysons · 22/04/2012 09:57

Yes it is good, burn over 200 cals and its fun. We use foam dumb bells which is my favourite part of the class :)

BehindLockNumberNine · 22/04/2012 10:09

Cool! Just need to find a swimming costume with in-built scaffolding to hold the girls in. Last time they flopped over the top of the swimming costume during some chest-deep jumping manouvre!! It was mortifying and I have not been back since (four years ago!!)

cinnamongreyhound · 22/04/2012 10:22

I did the C25K with the nhs podcast which I downloaded to my phone BehindLockNumberNine, but others use apps which have similar timings and mp3 player would be fine too. Now I'm using runkeeper which cuts into your own music every 5 mins to tell you your speed and distance. Well done on your weightloss.

RGPargy · 22/04/2012 19:54

Just checking in! Grin

NCIS · 23/04/2012 12:51

I've lost 4lbs this week! I know it's not going to carry on but still really pleased.

Cherrypi · 23/04/2012 13:16

Anyone else finding they're always over the recommended sugar amount by lunchtime? I'm not sure what's doing it. I'm pudwood on there if anyone wants to add me. I have no friends yet Sad

BehindLockNumberNine · 23/04/2012 13:30

Wow NCIS, that is fab!!

cherri, will add you now Smile

nimbs · 23/04/2012 13:51

Hi :) can I join you? Been on MFP for a while now - but seem to have stalled! I've lost a few pounds but as my clothes don't seem to be any different I think it's all come off from my ankles/wrists/neck/random body part that makes no difference if I'm lardy or not :( . Keep reading threads that say you drop a dress size for each 10lb you lose - def. not happening here - so any tips very welcome!!

cinnamongreyhound · 23/04/2012 13:59

Well done NCIS!

I'm always over my sugar, pretty much every day Cherrypi I seem to remember someone mentioning adjusting it to a value that was recommended elsewhere, I think it was jchocchip. I don't worry too much about it, I am under on everything else so I think it must be ok. Have added you :)

cinnamongreyhound · 23/04/2012 14:01

I don't think that's true nimbs, I've lost 24Kg so almost 53lb and I have only just dropped my second clothes size!

TheseGoToEleven · 23/04/2012 14:03

I am down 5 lb in my first week of actually trying Grin so pleased with that!

Cherrypi · 23/04/2012 14:04

Ooh I have some friends now. Thank you. It's on days I've not eaten anything sweet even. It's making me realise how much hidden sugar I must be eating. Also noticed how low my iron intake is. Fascinating isn't it?
