You're a braver woman that me whyme2! My friend goes to Zumba on a Tuesday and keeps asking me to join her and other than the, what I feel is, ridiculously high price I know there's no way I'd keep up!!

Is that 5 weeks or 5lb or both IBlamethePenguins? Enjoy your mums food and be sensible as it sounds like you are, maybe go for a hike in some welsh countryside!

whyme2 · 28/03/2012 12:55

I have a friend who goes to the official Zumba which is about £6 a time.
The one I went to was £4 which I thought was not bad. I was pleasantly surprised by how well I managed to keep up and not make a tit of myself.

cinnamongreyhound · 28/03/2012 14:11

Here it's £5.50, which is too much for me and why I run on the streets as it's free :)

RGPargy · 28/03/2012 19:55

Hi guys! Bookmarking! :o

IBlameThePenguins · 29/03/2012 18:24

cinamon thank you for your words of encouragement. I took your advice and went for a nice long walk today... Just abouth balanced out all of the welsh cakes! The wedding is 5 months time... Not sure where the lb bit came from.... I've obviously got lb on the brain!

bexsybooboo · 29/03/2012 18:42

Keep up the logging everyone it's great seeing how well we are all doing Smile

MonsterBookOfTysons · 30/03/2012 19:09

Marking place.
I am ill again with a migraine, twice in a week, it is ruining my eating and exercise :(

jchocchip · 31/03/2012 11:57

Hi everyone. Had a bad week logging wise but the weekend is easier as I can do it as I go along. Totm so haven't lost this week. :( Been good today though and done 30dayshred and a run with dh already. Quick swim later after I have cleaned the kitchen too. That should mean I have plenty of calories to spare today ...

cinnamongreyhound · 31/03/2012 18:51

Well done bexsybooboo!! What is your personal weight goal?

bexsybooboo · 31/03/2012 22:25

cinnamongreyhound my personal goal weight is to achieve 10stone which is still classed as overweight Sad due to my height only being 5 foot 2, but it sounds a nice number to me lol Grin so another 2 + stone to lose nearly 3 but putting it as 2+ sounds better Smile

rgpargy reading all the different classes you do has inspired me to take my life in my hands again following doing the 10k and have booked myself into a body pump class on Wednesday everyone please pray for me lol Wink

cinnamongreyhound · 03/04/2012 19:58

I have been 9 1/2 stone bexsybooboo so I know it's achievable but not sure I want to be that small. As I'm getting closer to my goal of a normal BMI I am wondering if it will be low enough- 68Kg/10st 10 but as I haven't been this light since I was 18 I dont know at what point I will want to maintain.

bexsybooboo · 05/04/2012 09:42

That's why I think I will aim for 10stone cinnamongreyhound and if I am happy with this will stick and try and maintain Smile but if I feel I should lose a little more then I will try. 10stone is a weight I have seriously not seen for way too long we are talking even before I had kids Sad.

It's WI again for me tomorrow so hoping a little more off, really would like to be 11stone for our holiday in July but not sure how doable losing 1 stone 11ibs is before this. Would like to think doable but sometimes I get stuck in a plateau and it doesn't shift for weeks, so am just going to do what I can Smile

I am impressed with MFP as it does actually work and is the longest I have stuck to anything Smile

piratecat · 05/04/2012 17:01

i have been mpf for 11 weeks, and never been hungry. lost 11lbs. it's slow but sure.

but the past few days i am feeling soooooo hungry all the time. deffo not monthly cycle related as i have only finished a period a few days ago.
maybe my body is bit fed up with the sameness of my food? hard to think of other stuff to eat tho. or perhaps i need to up the cals a tad to get some movement. I think this because i have taken 4 weeks to lose the last 2 lbs.

yawn!

AmazingDisgrace · 05/04/2012 17:39

I've now lost 27lbs doing MFP. Everyone's doing so well (especially Bexsy!) I'm being very bad tonight and having an Indian takeaway but instead of overeating masses I'm sharing a naan bread and going for lighter options so hopefully won't do too much damage!

cinnamongreyhound · 05/04/2012 19:19

I get hungry spells piratecat and also fanciful spells where I really crave junk food some of it cyclic but some of it I suspect is just down to my body not quite having enough calories but I'm not an expert. What is your limit at the moment? Perhaps others can give you more suggestions.

piratecat · 05/04/2012 19:25

my limit is 1200, my bmr is 1326. i don't excercise as such, nor am i particularly busy on my feet.

thanks x

cinnamongreyhound · 07/04/2012 08:00

Bmr?? Maybe try to be a bit more active so you can eat more a couple of days a week to give your weightloss a boost? Go for a nice brisk walk is probably easiest.

piratecat · 07/04/2012 09:59

Basic metabolic rate.

yes more walking is the easiest isn't it. thanks

RGPargy · 07/04/2012 13:46

cinnamongreyhound · 09/04/2012 08:19

Genuinely interested in how you know your bmr piratecat?

MonsterBookOfTysons · 09/04/2012 09:08

Cinnamon I googled bmr and it makes you put in a few measurements, I don't use mine all the time but it has made me relax if I go over my cals :)

bexsybooboo · 09/04/2012 09:21

Bookmarking I have been very bad for nearly a week so much so I lost the thread so am sneaking in to bookmark Blush

piratecat · 09/04/2012 09:33
