Wynken broke the other thread!

Have been so busy at work, only in the door a few minutes. Haven't eaten yet, but weirdly not hungry.
Must have something otherwise will suddenly get ravenous.
Looks like everyone is doing ok though.
Am actually looking at Shred DVD (Still in its cellophane wrapping!)but too wrecked to start doing it today.

Thanks Wynken, good memory too! Ria my consulant said something before Christmas that Stuck in my head, you can all get to target by next Christmas, which is true for this thread.

We will need a virtual clothes swap at this rate, speaking of which if anyone wants this in a size 22-24 www.mandco.com/Anya-Madsen/Stripe-tie-front-cardigan/invt/1800752blackgrey. Please let me know, was bought at end of August and in v good condition.

WynkenBlynkenandNod · 29/12/2010 08:51

That is do true, I really want to be at target next Christmas. Clothes idea is a good one, I will have a lot of size 18's that will be too big in a few months I hope. Am delighted to say your Cardigan is too big thank you, feels strange to say that as started off that size.

whatkungfuthat · 29/12/2010 09:37

Hi everyone, don't worry Upsy, you'll get it off quickly as it went on quickly. I don't even want to think what I have gained over xmas, but I am back on it today. I went round the house last night throwing away opened stuff (even my beloved Walkers sweet chilli sensations) and sent DP off to work with a tin of choc orange segment things - they are the devils work. DP bought me a saxophone for xmas after 20-odd years of longing, so hoping that learning to play will be a diversion foodwise! Going a bit off-topic here - I got the new Next book yesterday and there is literally nothing I would wear, which is Angry as i have vouchers. When I opened it I thought I was in 1978!

upsydaisysexstylist · 29/12/2010 10:02

Whatkungfuthat could you ebay them, swap with someone who wants to live in 1978.

As I live in the servants quarters of wealthy town I am hitting the charity shops as soon as I am a 16 most places, as only affordable shops round here are dorothy P's and M and Co, Sigh used to get jackpot stuff in sale when single working lady, but has gone up loads recently and my SAHM budget stretches to Primarni or Tescos

RiaInExcelsisDeo · 29/12/2010 10:33

I love going to the towns near MILs, as the charity shops there are fab (more money than sense type area harshly contrasted with the complete opposite). Not so keen on visting MIL TBH, which is the plan for today. Am just putting some photos of the boys of a memory stick, to load onto their digi photo frame while we're there (don't want to put them on the frame in case they've got one - want to take it back and spend the money on token Boots sale toiletries for them and the change on the boysXmas WinkBlush)

whatkungfuthat · 29/12/2010 10:53

Love the cunning Ria Grin

I'm going to 'sell' my tokens to DP, who seems to have discovered a fondness for 'Alfie Moon' shirts Confused

RiaInExcelsisDeo · 29/12/2010 10:54

would be be wrong to download "Grandma we Love you" as the backing track? Xmas Wink

I REALLY DON'T WANT TO GO!!!!!!

whatkungfuthat · 29/12/2010 11:19

V. wrong, do it! Xmas Grin

ditavonteesed · 29/12/2010 16:08

hiu everyone, well done on losses and hope everybody has had a fantastic christmas, we certainly did. not really back on the wagon after xmas as far too much choccy in house. been going for lovely long walks with the dog though. planning on having a complete motnh off booze starting 1st oibviously and the dd's are at school from 6th so I will be trying to increase excercisxe then. havent been tracking and feel like I have beenn eating none sto0p, put 3lbs on which doesnt seem too bad all things considered.

DontCallMeBaby · 29/12/2010 16:15

Hello all, I'm back from cold parts! Well, colder ... actually there was one day when it was a mere -3 and may have been colder here ... it was -29 when we arrived though!

We had a good time, except DH and I both had colds (DD escaped somehow), and the cats survived the cattery. Owners hardly saw them though, and they weed in their beds, little tinkers.

RiaInExcelsisDeo · 29/12/2010 20:42

how I wish I had. Bloody bloody inlawsXmas Angry

Am waiting for DS2 to go to sleep so I can leave DH and DS1 with Doctor Who and go to my mums with a bottle of wine (bless her, she texted me at about 5.30 to ask if there had been a murder yetXmas Wink). Had the day from hell, as well as the inlaws, there was freezing fog there and back, DH hasn't been paidAngry(again), DS3 wouldn't behave in the designer outlet so I didn't get my retail therapy that I earn by visiting ILs, got part of the way there and had to come home for my wallet, and I have lost one of the earrings Dsis gave me for christmas. Am a tad pissed off! (sorry for rant)

welcome back from the cold DCMB, and to the thread dita. I haven't thought about a thing I've eaten (except after some of it with regret!) Soon be the 3rd and I'll be well motivated. Am planning already (shopping etc), meant to stock up on low alcohol pink fizz today, but didn't get to the shop.

upsydaisysexstylist · 30/12/2010 07:53

Rhia, rant sounds entirely necessary, hope today is a better day. Have no managed one full day of EE although somewhat anally spent ages working out the syns in tiny bite of ella's kitchen rusk, taken purely to check ds2's puzzled face was not because I was trying to posion him

whatkungfuthat · 30/12/2010 09:26

Hi Everyone, Ria hope you got your much-needed wine. Welcome back Dita and DCMB. Weighed myself today on the Wii, says I have put on 9 pounds Shock, hoping to get some off quick though as I can temporarily gain 5 pounds overnight from having a chinese. Can't believe its so much as I haven't eaten anywhere near as much as I would have without this wretched headcold/chesty cough as I can't taste much. Must be all the alchohol Hmm. Also haven't done any exercise in over a week.

Wynken, what kinect game are you using?

RiaInExcelsisDeo · 30/12/2010 12:39

thanks for listening. slightly better today as some of DHs wages have arrived, but he is working today so has been able to speak to the boss, and hopefully they will sort it outHmm would still like to hide under the table and cry though Xmas Sad

WynkenBlynkenandNod · 30/12/2010 21:18

Lovely to see everyone again! Glad holiday was good Dontcallme.

Sorry to hear about wages Ria, we used to get a lot of that and it is horribly stressful.

Dita, dog walking in cold weather must burn off extra calories from the shivering!

Kungfu, I've been using Dance Central. No energy for it today though.what has gone on will be offf soon, probably something to do with water retention and you not feeling well, hope you feel better very soon.

Went to WI today and lost 1.5lbs so just need a half for my 2.5 stones next week.

whatkungfuthat · 31/12/2010 09:41

Oh well done Wynken, bet you were one of the few that lost Grin

I really need to get back on it, there is just too much bad stuff hanging around to pick at. We don't have a sitter for tonight so are staying in and getting a chinese, thats not going to help! Hopefully once the schools start I can get back to proper exercise. DS1 has ordered the Michael Jackson experience from amazon with xmas money, that should help! My 2 don't go back till wednesday because planned INSET days clash with the royal wedding!

Dog walking in the cold will def. burn more calories Grin What is everyone up to tonight? Happy Hogmanay (half scottish) Smile

RiaInExcelsisDeo · 31/12/2010 17:29

well done wynkenSmile

Happy New Year to you all!!!

We are in tonight, my parents (and maybe my Uncle as there's been trouble with his family) are coming in about half an hour for a meal cooked by the kids (I am shattered, might have almost bneen easier to do the cooking myselfHmm). DH is at work, though he said he's coming home as soon as he can possibly leave and not staying for the party.

Hope everyone enjoys their evening, whatever you're doing. x

DontCallMeBaby · 01/01/2011 19:53

Oh help. I decided to kickstart the new year with a bit of fitness stuff, having basically not done anything since before Christmas (although we were pretty active over Christmas, with the skiing and suchlike). So I finally broke the 30 Day Shred out of its cellophane.

I should possibly have had a bigger gap between finishing the chocolate orange and starting the DVD.

WynkenBlynkenandNod · 02/01/2011 08:22

A belated Happy New Year to you all! This time next year we will all be pretty much at target. Losing 'Just ' a pound a week is 4 stone by next Jan.

Dontcallme, can you move today? I am not joining you on the Shred, it sounds dangerous!

Kungfu, we had Chinese New Year's Eve, very nice it was too. Mine aren't back till Wednesday and I have DD's bithday to cope with on Tuesday. I'm using Dance Central.

Ria, hope your DC's cooked you a good meal !

DontCallMeBaby · 02/01/2011 11:51

I can move ... obviously didn't try hard enough (I was told on holiday that not falling over when skiing meant I wasn't trying hard enough, don't care, not keen on pain!) My arms ache, not a lot else. My feelings may be coloured by aforementioned skiing though, the day after the first lesson, never felt anything like it, SO MUCH PAIN!

4 stone would be crazy. Another stone would break another stone barrier for me, and be the weight I was post-relationship-break-up aged 24. Crazy enough in itself. If I DO manage to get fitter though I could imagine the weight plateauing though as I build some muscle, so need to keep an eye on the tape measure and the fit of clothes.

whatkungfuthat · 02/01/2011 19:49

I just can't stop eating rubbish Sad chocolate is like crack atm (not that I'd know about crack). Can't wait for things to get back to normal so I can exercise.

happynewRia · 02/01/2011 23:11

my boys cooked the most DELICIOUS meal ever. DS1 did prawns in chilli, garlic and olive oil for a starter (I had garlic mushrooms) with retro brown bread and butter cigars! Then he cooked lemon, garlic and herb chicken, roast potatoes, sweet potato and baby corn, mange tout and carrots. (I did some lamb as the boys and parents love lamb, and it was reduced in Tesco!)m then DS2 and I made pavloca with raspberries, strawberries and kiwi. YUM YUMM. and nice NZ wine from Marlborough (where Dsis lives) Fab night. (Sadly followed by crappy bollocky NYEXmas Sad)

am also looking forward to reigning in the eating tomorrow. Am going to try to cut out the booze til Valentines Day (not sure how that will go, but I will try). Have made 2 SW lasagnes today, and have a rough meal plan for the week.

Good luck!

happynewRia · 03/01/2011 11:02

good morningSmile feeling positive and motivated today, despite the scales!

WynkenBlynkenandNod · 04/01/2011 06:51

Dontcallme, you're not selling the whole skiing thing to me, DH is desperate to go. I did say I would consider landlaufen as don't like hills much. Still am not going to try the Shred, I'm quite sure I will collapse.

Kungfu, am having similar chocolate issues and going to have to be very careful the next two days as only have 3 weekly points left and have DD's birthday today. Then tomorrow have yo take her to Orthodontist for impressions and to GP to have her finger dresssed where she cut it chopping parsnip on Sunday.

Ria, send your children to me, that sounds delicious !

happynewRia · 04/01/2011 11:05

shall they bring their suitacases?wink]

am a bit Sad as new scales read 10lb heavier than the old ones, and with xmas gain that puts me right back where I started at my heaviest. My clothes do not feel like I have regained over a stone and a half though, so there must have been something amiss, and I will have to take it on the chin and get on with it, and concentrate on the fact I am a dress size maller (and not consider maybe I was over a stone heavier than I am nowShock.

Had a very weird night last night. i ate too much tea and was exhausted, so I went to bed early, and I had "pizza delirium"! (wanted one, could't have one as none in freezer, cue dreams and sweating etcBlush) Then I was awake from 3am til about 6 going over and over my menu plan for the week in my mind! Bonkers!

Have DS1 back at school today, the others are at home, and I have to collect my friends DS from his CM in an hour, so best get a move on...
