Reddit is saying price reduction is coming and MMP just had a 9pm TikTok live to say new prices midnight tonight

I stopped due to price. Might take another look. Assume it’s because they’re being affected by Retratutide

SilenceInside · 09/09/2026 14:41

In a way I hope it's not to do with that. I do find it incredible that so many people in the UK are apparently very happy to acquire "retatrutide" and have no or little concern about the risks or possible issues around it. Disturbing and depressing, for me.

It’s a global brand and R is legal and available in other countries. And will be here soon.

MargoLivebetter · 09/09/2026 15:00

@LimeShade which countries is it legally available in? I thought it was still in Stage 3 trials.

SilenceInside · 09/09/2026 15:00

@LimeShade retatrutide isn't legally available, apart from if you're participating in the Lilly clinical trials, in any country at the moment. Lilly make Mounjaro and are developing retatrutide and currently doing Phase 3 clinical trials on it.

Nope. Still only legally available if you are part of a legitimate trial in which case you would not be paying for it. https://www.lilly.com/news/stories/what-to-know-about-retatrutide

  1. When will retatrutide be available to the public?
Retatrutide is currently in Phase 3 clinical trials and launch will depend on the completion of these trials and the regulatory approval process. Retatrutide has not been approved by any regulatory agency and is legally available only through Lilly's clinical trials. Anything sold to consumers outside of those trials is illegal, with no way to verify its safety, purity or dosing. Taking unregulated substances poses serious health risks and Lilly continues to work with law enforcement and regulatory authorities to combat black market drugs.

ok, so Oushk live with prices was a bit confusing for my slow brain with "possible" numbers being verbally shared for different bundles, but it doesn't look like any huge discounts either.

Lower doses the current maintenance code is mostly a better deal.

The one where they said there was the biggest discount "£80" was

New Price Bundle 10mg+12.5mg = £489

Previous price with the always available £15/pen discount = £539 (so not £80, actually a £50 or around £25/pen discount)

Previous price with maintain £25/pen discount = £519 (a £30 or £15/pen discount)

Maintenance and single pen discount codes cannot be stacked on top of bundles, it is one or the other. They may bring in discount codes for bundles (I suspect they will to track their tiktok affiliates).

Deliveries could be two pens per delivery or one pen per delivery (they might have said pay for delivery once so that could be an extra saving), but they might switch to signed for only as it is a big loss if a parcel with £500 worth of pens goes missing.

They will be looking in the coming weeks to do a subscribe and save option where you commit to two pens but only pay for one a month.

Reorder times 6 weeks per pen / 12 weeks per bundle.

They are also bringing in Amazon as a delivery service soon.

They said MMP (£410 for the same bundle above) is selling at a loss so don't know what their plans are...... possibly an advert to buy now from MMP if you can afford it !!!!!!! Guess you could always switch back later (but watch the small print)

So some savings for bigger doses, still far from the cheapest, but they never aimed to be. I'm on a lower dose so nothing there to entice me back, current provider is cheaper, more flexible and less complicated.

(if anyone else was on let me know if I got any of those prices wrong it was shouted out quick and I was scribbling!)

£158 is what I pay for 5 mg from my regular provider. I’m sure there is cheaper than £154 already out there.

From where please?

justasmalltownmum · 09/09/2026 21:23

justforthis · 01/09/2026 21:05

I've been paying £289 for 15mg. Just ordered one from a different company for £214 so am pleased with that. Thanks for this thread. They definitely weren't showing those prices yesterday. This was on the comparison site.

Can you share the comparison site please

I think MMP might’ve underestimated demand, because my order was approved yesterday and it’s still not even dispatched!

Puppylucky · 10/09/2026 14:24

They've stopped selling 12.5 😕

Lack of stock?

SilenceInside · 10/09/2026 14:49

@Puppylucky have they announced that somewhere?

Puppylucky · 10/09/2026 16:17

Just tried to buy it and got bounced @SilenceInside

SilenceInside · 10/09/2026 16:36

Ah ok, I can’t get to that point as I ordered last week so their website won’t let me reorder at all as it’s too soon. Thankfully they were quick to dispatch me a 12.5mg then. I guess they have had a lot of people switching. The 12.5mg in particular is a lot cheaper than other pharmacies at the moment. It was £50 odd cheaper than my usual supplier’s full price and they were doing an additional £15 off for a new customer.

Ketra · 10/09/2026 17:56

I ordered my 12.5 from MMP this morning (usual dose and usual provider) and I didn't get bounced, but it has been sat as information received all day whereas usually they process very quickly, so I'm guessing they have a lot of new people - not surprising when you compare their prices to others

Okay so they’ve not stopped selling it. They just don’t have stock at the moment.

Yes I’ve been with them for wegovy and just switched to MJ, ut took a couple of days!

I asked on Reddit if MMP had stock issues and one of the mods tried and got all the way through to paying. Said MMP usually have a counter when stock is low and there was nothing there.

Are you perhaps just ordering too early?

OP posts:
Puppylucky · 10/09/2026 19:16

Nope I'm a new customer so don't have an ordering history with them. I am abroad though so it might be a WiFi problem - will try again when I get home. I also got all the way through to paying and the pen suddenly disappeared out of my basket.

PuzzledObserver · 11/09/2026 11:42

I’m on the mailing list for Zava, although I didn’t actually order from them. It says their prices are about to drop, and also that they guarantee lowest prices for new patients.

Mind you, I think I first investigated them because they were all over adverts on here claiming to be the cheapest, and they weren’t

WeAllHaveWings · 12/09/2026 10:13

Cloud have bundles in now too. A little cheaper than Oushk for higher doses but nowhere near MMP prices.

Looks like monj.co.uk has a bundles section now. It’s not working on my iPad yet, but hopefully will for others.

Oushk have left everyone confused with another live with the bundles and how they fit with maintenance and their complicated pricing structures. I think (though I may be wrong) -

Single pens - prices, delivery, discount codes as usual.

Maintenance + Single pens - for lower doses maintenance might still be best price.

Bundles - New bundles prices, can choose from one delivery or pens in two deliveries. If you use not signed for you can get split delivery for £4.39 for each delivery. If you use a split delivery you can change the date and/or strength of second pen. Only special Bundles discount codes can be used with Bundles - there will be an extra £5 off code on Monday.

Maintenance + Bundles - Can't use maintenance £25/off for bundles, but if you buy a bundle you get free delivery as long as it is not signed for option (maybe not on lower doses, that wasn't clear)

They’ve offered refunds for their maintenance plans in Oushk points, if anyone has paid the £5 and would prefer to use bundles. Although, if you get free delivery over 12 months for £5, it’s probably better to keep the "plan" running. What I find odd is that they seem to have completely airbrushed out the importance they previously placed on everyone signing up to a maintenance plan. The way it was originally presented it was about prescriber approval, safety in maintenance and lower BMIs, ongoing support during maintenance, GPhC needed etc. which all comes at a cost 🤔, whereas now it seems to have been reduced to being all about the discount.

They are bringing in a Save and Subscribe option in a week or so. Where you commit to buying a bundle but pay per pen (still confirming details with bank as bank need to save details for the second pen payment).

Amazon deliveries from Monday. Amazon Prime members don't get free delivery as they still pick up from the pharmacy. Not sure how much this will be, but being sold as a more reliable delivery service.

MMP is still miles cheaper. But looking at what others are bringing out, which are not in MMP range, a bit lower than the Oushk offer, it still looks like MMP is just too good to be true long term.
