First I’ve heard of it! Will be interested to see what happens.
whats MMP? And why 9pm and midnight? Bizarre times aren’t they?!

WeAllHaveWings · Yesterday 21:20

Hope other pharmacies will follow quickly.

@TheChosenTwo MMP = Medicine market place; they just did a TikTok, I don’t use them just noticed on the Reddit someone said they were doing a live and joined it.

£158 is what I pay for 5 mg from my regular provider. I’m sure there is cheaper than £154 already out there.

raisemyheartrate · Yesterday 21:22

Wow! I’m guessing Eli Lilly have realised how disastrous the price rises were?

WeAllHaveWings · Yesterday 21:23

@Autumnleaveandthegrass i thought the same, as also on 5mg, but the others look lower.

I’m paying £269 for 10mg !

You should shop around. I’ve just checked and you can get it as low as £213. Which is much cheaper than the OP is promoting.

MMP are going to be selling 10mg for £198

WeAllHaveWings · Yesterday 21:29

I am not “promoting” @Autumnleaveandthegrass just sharing from the Reddit there could be price drops across the board. I don’t use MMP, they are just the first to say anything.

Wahey!!

seeing mixed things as to whether these prices are per pen or when ordering 2+ - hopefully it applies to single pens!!

Focalpoint · Yesterday 21:34

wasnt it 1 Sept the prices increased last year, so it might make sense that they changed again on 1 sept

WeAllHaveWings · Yesterday 21:35

The multiple pens thing might be via Lilly direct, makes sense customer gets a saving if pharmacy only prescribing once as the cost of consult/prescribing is a big part of the pharmacy costs.

Thanks, never heard of them! I basically live in a MJ bubble of my own, have only ever ordered from one place and only one pen at a time.

UnashamedLabelHo · Yesterday 21:52

I get 15mg for £264.99 - the Monj website does all this for you.

If you read the Reddit post you'll see it's Nik Johnson who has posted about the price drop. He's the founder of the price comparison website.

By the sounds of it, it is Eli Lilly wholesale prices that are dropping, so perhaps your providers price will drop further too. Time will tell. 🤞

Do you think it was a disaster for them? Seems like there are still loads and loads of people buying it.

Noshowlomo · Yesterday 22:00

Everyone on the Reta, so they’ve probably realised they’ve got loads of competition and out priced a load of people too!

LittleEsme · Yesterday 22:07

I’m paying a stupid amount with Bolt but I’m worried I won’t get a prescription as I’ve neared my goal weight and BMI so I’ve stuck with them.

I don’t think "everyone is on it" it only feels that way because of how loudly it is being hyped on TikTok, Reddit etc. Social media algorithms naturally create an "echo chamber" effect, if you look at a couple of posts about weightloss, your feed suddenly fills up with nothing else, making a small trend look like a national movement. It is a vocal, but small community.

Wegovy, wegovy pills, or people stopping as unaffordable will have taken more from them than reta.

Personally I do. I think most people switched to wegovy

Ah right. I don’t know anyone who did, and have noticed a lot of people going back to MJ on Facebook groups.

But there’s more and more competition looming so perhaps they had to do something? (Although this is all speculation at the moment anyway).
