Video call was very straightforward and all complete. Waiting for the pills to be dispensed. I’m going to start on Monday 10th.

WildImaginings · 02/08/2026 14:20

Just had my approval through too from Med Express. I think I’m also going to start on Monday 10th.

Thank you to all posters on this thread- I’ve just taken the plunge and put in my first order on med express. Waiting for it to be approved. I’m significantly heavier than most of the posts I’ve seen (over 20 stone) and to be honest, this thread has given me the kick I needed. I’m in my mid 30’s and despite being very short I’m told I don’t ‘look’ as big as I am- but i think a lot of that is simply down to the clothes I wear. When I look at myself in the mirror with no clothes on, I can ABSOLUTELY see how big I am!

I don’t even want to be ‘skinny’- I just want to be able to fit back into my size 18-20 clothes as a starting point to be honest!!

I’ve thought about the jabs for over a year but have been too scared; god knows why, as I’m not afraid of injections? Maybe it’s the thought of them being so ‘visible’.

This thread has definitely given me the push I needed. This is the heaviest I’ve ever been. I’ve easily piled on at least 5 stone since the first lockdown- I used to do at least an hours walking a day with my commute, and I went to the gym around 3 times a week. I now WFH and have an extremely stressful job, so this has absolutely contributed. I cook healthy, well portioned meals but then I walk into the kitchen and eat a load of crap.

Apologies for the very long post! I have a referral code for med express for £65 credit if anyone wants to message me.

Hi @WildImaginings
Im about to put in a second order for MedExpress, I'd love your code please (if its not just for new customers).

Day 5 of my journey. Been eating loads of protein and gym or a long walk every day. Really hoping I’ve lost something by day 7 🤞

Lunarexplorer · 03/08/2026 11:02

I decided to go for it. Menopause means the weight just keeps creeping up, despite everything! I was approved yesterday, through Voy, so just waiting on despatch. A stone to lose - hopefully!

Lunarexplorer · 03/08/2026 11:06

Champagnecharleyismyname · 02/08/2026 13:23

I’ve provided my ID for Voy but waiting for an empty house before I do the video call as I’m not sure what to expect

The video call was really quick and straightforward. They wanted to know why I wanted to start the pills, any medical issues/ medication and then they wanted to see me on the scales - just had to flip the camera so they could see the weight display. Took about 5 minutes. The info was then sent to a clinician, and approved a few hours later.

Lovelivingbythebeach3 · 03/08/2026 20:06

I am on day 10 and although I am not feeling as nauseous I, like others, am not feeling as full either, so lots of will power needed not to snack. The fact that I am spending money to loose weight also motivates me to stick to a low calorie diet!

I think if only works for new customers, but I have sent you a PM

WildImaginings · 03/08/2026 23:48

Order arrived today, very quick dispatch from med express considering I only applied and got approved yesterday!

Champagnecharleyismyname · 04/08/2026 12:06

My pills arrived today so I’m taking the first one on Thursday I think as I have a busy day tomorrow.

Any hints for the first few days? I’m hoping it’s going to help with my snacking habits. I also want to focus on high protein and high fibre.

WiseMoose · 04/08/2026 18:31

I'm just about to sign up. My BMI is approx 27 - I need to weigh myself really to be accurate - but am so fed up and can not shift the weight.

The injections seemed a little scary - but I can do a pill.

Looking around for the best prices, and companies that will sell to me off licence..

LondonCheesecake · 04/08/2026 19:46

wise I can send you my referral code for Bolt if you want. It gives you £40 off. They do BMI of 25 and above

Sorethroatpain · 04/08/2026 20:07

I took my first Wegovy pill today not expecting any real change, and am surprised to have some appetite suppression this evening. Hoping that continues without any side effects!

LoopyGremlin · 05/08/2026 08:35

First week on 0.25 weegovy pen. Lost 4lbs. Have eaten lots of protein and been in gym doing weights 3 days and taking long walks the other days. Happy with that! 💪

WiseMoose · 05/08/2026 13:29

Which is the best value provider ? I see all have new customer offers .

it’s the subsequent months which are pricey - especially if necessary to increase dosage ? Does everyone need to increase dosage ?

I have just started with Bolt. First month was £59.99 but it does goes up. I think the maximum dose is £199 a month. Let me know if you would like a code.

SilenceInside · 05/08/2026 15:25

@WiseMoose There's a price comparison site for Wegovy tablets https://ogovy.co.uk/ which lists the discount price that you'd get for a first order, and then you can also look at the Retail price list which shows the prices for subsequent orders without any discounts. All the pharmacies listed are GPhC regulated.

Also, don't forget that you can change pharmacies at any point for your next order so you can take advantage of new customer discounts. You just need evidence of your previous prescription eg the prescription label on the box that the medication came in as it shows your name, the date, the medication and the dosage.

Imtoooldforallthis · 06/08/2026 08:58

Just thought I'd give an update , on day 15 only in the last 2 days has my appetite been suppressed, I've lost 4lbs. Compared to other people it feels like it took a while to take affect, but hopefully I continue with slow steady progress.

Lala105 · 06/08/2026 10:27

17 days of Wegovy and no weight change. NO LOSS AT SLK. Felt queasy for first week. Have upped protein, swim 3 times a week, walk around 8000 - 10000 steps a day. What am I doing wrong 😡

I don't think your doing anything wrong I just think everyone's different and takes longer for some people.

socks1107 · 06/08/2026 12:29

@Lala105 are you counting calories. So I’m on them because I can do cc and have lost 3.5 stone that way and then maintained it for six months despite counting, exercising etc etc but I’m starving so eat more towards maintenance and can’t get my bmi into healthy.
the tablets have allowed me to drop to 1300-1400 calories a day without any hunger and I’m loosing again for the first time in six month, but I have to calorie count and I have to be honest about what I’m eating

WiseMoose · 06/08/2026 13:52

Well I've been approved by Zava. I have paid £57 for the first month at 1.5mg tabs.

So lets see.

Def looked fat enough in my photos :( I wasn't asked to step on the scales.

Champagnecharleyismyname · 06/08/2026 18:23

I took my first tablet today and probably a bit of a placebo effect but don’t fancy dinner.

I had Greek yogurt and berries for breakfast and quiche and salad for lunch but I’m not feeling particularly hungry now.

Yellow2024 · Yesterday 08:41

I've been on them 2 weeks now and have lost 4lbs.
I've just ordered my next packet and have gone up to the 4mg.
I have to say ive not been watching what I eat to be honest im just eating less which it is helping with. I still get cravings though and think about food quite a lot.
Has anyone gone up to 4mg yet?

SssshButWeAllKnow · Yesterday 22:49

I’ve just reordered and gone up to 4mg. Hoping the increase will give the suppression I had with the injections. It’s not there yet but I am noticing a slight decrease in hunger.

i have a code for £60 off first order if anyone wants it with Bolt.
