Has anyone taken the step to order the tablets and wish to share their journey?

@Namechangewegovyjune26 i don’t eat until much later but I make a big bowl of chia seed pudding, every few days, which is what I start with - cacao powder, chia seeds, some kind of cold pressed ground seed, plain greek yogurt and honey. Kids and I eat from that through the week. I usually add fresh or frozen raspberries to mine. Great on its own or with any fruit. Decent protein from the chia/yoghurt/ground seeds plus fibre and minerals from the raspberries/cacao/ground seeds (I’ve seen older family members go in to nasty surgeries because of their lack-of-fibre diets catching up to them, so trying to up my game on that front). Tastes like chocolate pudding which is why I do it! Overnight oats with yoghurt and chia (grated apple if I can be bothered) is also an easy option. Otherwise I grab half a slice of cheese or a small handful of cashews/almonds if I need a quick protein ‘boost’.

Thank you! ☺️

Day 3 done ✔️

Yesterday I shared a bottle of wine at a friend’s and was really worried it would affect me today. Touch wood ok so far.

I’ve been tracking calories and today was the first day in forever that I managed to stick to around 1300 calories! Usually I struggle to stick to 2000 😆 Feeling excited now.

Namechangewegovyjune26 · 12/07/2026 22:43

Also, in case helpful. ChatGPT has been critiquing my food choices every day. Today it said:

Tiny goals for tomorrow
If you can tick these off, it would be great:

  • ✅ Add a proper serving of 0% Greek yogurt to breakfast.
  • ✅ Eat at least 2 handfuls of vegetables.
  • ✅ Drink 2 litres of water.
  • ✅ Aim for 90 g+ protein.
  • ✅ Keep doing what you're doing with fruit.
One final thought: because you've just started Wegovy, don't be surprised if your appetite changes over the next few weeks. Rather than forcing yourself to eat very little, use the reduced hunger to make each meal count. If you can consistently build meals around protein, fruit or vegetables, and whole grains, you'll be in a strong position to lose weight while maintaining your energy and muscle.

Day 1 for me today, feeling a bit nauseous and headachy but not too bad. I’ve got 4 stone to lose so hoping it works ok for me. 🤞

MeowBerry · 13/07/2026 14:46

How's everyone doing? This is day 5 for me. I'm really hoping it works. I'm feeling okay, not as hungry and trying to eat well. Fingers crossed!

I have also signed up with Voy. I have signed up for 6 months. I have already lost 5 stone with slimming world but have put a stone back on and I am really struggling with it. I have a lot to loose according to the NHS. I would like to loose 3 stone and then see how I feel. The most important thing is not gaining weight lost. I just want to feel good and be healthy. Will be really good to support each other on here.

How is it going? Have you had tablets yet?

Hey all, I’m the evening of day 1 and my goodness do I feel nauseous. I guess I might be panicking and that’s making it worse. 😢

Hiya, how are you feeling now? Hope it's better! I am on day 5. It's not been too bad so far , just feeling bloated mostly.

Hi ya, been at work all day and very worried about needing a toilet run 😂 have eaten 200 calories and I dnt feel hungry at all it’s actually odd. Need to make sure I force myself to eat. Hope the bloating subsides quickly for you. It’s so uncomfortable x

This is the thing that worries me the most as I work in a small office.
Im worried about needing the loo urgently or vomiting at work.
I haven't started taking the pills yet. Im going to collect them from the post office tonight

Wonderknicks · 13/07/2026 17:14

I'm thinking of signing up. Are all the companies pretty much the same pricing? It's hard to find out the information. I was thinking of Boots, simply because I feel I trust them, which is silly.

I’m with boots for the same reason. Wanted to make sure it was the company with good support.

StonwEd · 13/07/2026 18:14

Hi. Started today, I'm 12st 5 and wanting to get to 9at 7. Hell of a way to go, I'm only 5ft 3 and have never thought I was 3 stone overweight. But here we are.
Felt sick and head achey all day. Have eaten but def not as much or bothered about it.

24HoursFromTulseHill · 13/07/2026 19:24

Day 6 for me.
Still no side effects. Feeling like I can go for longer in between meals and avoid snacking and I'm finding I can get by with smaller portions.
Nothing dramatic but I was hoping for a slow & steady approach so it suits me.
If this continues throughout month 1 I'll see what my loss is and decide if I need to go up a dose or stay on the lowest.
My plan was to loose 500g a week / 2kg a month for a steady decline.

Bolt was very easy. £49 starting offer - I can send you a referral if you like

Namechangewegovyjune26 · 13/07/2026 20:56

Day 4 for me. I’m definitely not snacking as much. I’ve realised that my protein and fibre have been low so I’m trying to improve my diet.

Joining as I’ve just had my prescription for the pills approved through Voy today - eek! Feeling so nervous about starting and I’m so worried about side effects. I do struggle with gastro symptoms day to day anyway (IBS and GERD), and I’m so scared about feeling nauseous after two pregnancies where I felt constantly, horrendously sick for the first trimester. But fingers crossed it won’t be as bad as I think! I’ve lost a stone on my own over the last 18 months but it’s been so slow going and I’ve just been losing and regaining the same 2kg for the last six months. I’ve also been strength training, so will keep that up. I’ve realised that it’s not lack of knowledge that’s the problem with my eating. It’s all so much more complicated and tied up with my mental health, and I’m just exhausted from trying for so long. I’m hoping the tablets will help to quiet my brain and give me some respite from the constant thoughts and pressure about food and my weight. I’m 5ft 3 and 74kg - hoping to get to 57kg. But really I just want to get to a place where I’m happy to have my photo taken with my children. Wishing everyone the best of luck - looking forward to hearing about how it goes for you all

Im almost exactly the same as you minus the children.
Im so nervous about starting the pills, mainly because of how my tummy will react ( especially being in a small office all day) but I know that i can't keep yoyo-ing with my weight.
Good Luck 👍🏻

3smallpups · 13/07/2026 22:44

Mine arrive tomorrow! Excited and a bit scared. Since menopause I’ve n really struggled to shift. Weights permanently, it just bounces around. My stomach is really bloated at the moment , so hoping to shift that.

Henowner · 13/07/2026 22:47

I've tried WLI before but didn't get on with them. I have ordered the pills as I feel like I will have more control over them. I'm hoping to start this Thursday. I have 2 and a half stone to lose, BMI 27.

Pinkclarko · 14/07/2026 14:21

I’ll be honest. Day 3 for me and it might be unrelated but I feel very spaced out. I had to stop working because I wasn’t getting anywhere. It might be poor sleep or something else though. I’ve been eating; I just haven’t really snacked. Or done any fridge raids in the evening.

Mine have also arrived today, starting them tomorrow 😁

nearlyemptynes · 14/07/2026 16:33

So day 6 for me. My appetite has definitely reduced. I am really enjoying the food I eat but finding it much easier not to snack, I feel like for the first time in my life i understand what feeling satisfied is. Not full but satisfied which is a different thing. My first weigh in at sw today since i started taking them. I have already lost 5 stone with sw (gained 1 stone back) and I would like to loose at least 4 more. I will not be telling my sw consultant or friends as otherwise the world would know. Right lets see.

Webb27 · 14/07/2026 18:13

Day one for me. Have felt fine all day. The only difference is I have got home from work and I’m normally starving but don’t really have the desire to eat dinner but I will. I have a BMI of 27 but managed high blood pressure. I mainly want to reduce waist size as it is very unhealthy. I’ve gone with Voy and I’m liking the app.
