Has anyone else pre-ordered Wegovy pills?

Got mine on preorder…. I’m excited and a little apprehensive… have two stone to lose.

Took my first one this morning. I'd read somewhere else that they taste horrible so took it with a sip of water and didn't taste anything so that's the way forward

Actually I didn't notice any taste , maybe I had too much water, but only a gulp as you would paracetamol etc ..

Another notification, they are coming today, so may start tomorrow despite the weekend away and long train journey as I can see how I react whilst WFH on Thursday.

I found the pill fine. Had with water, no taste noticed.

@snoopydoopydo i also have a weekend away but decided to start anyway. I know from experience it’s difficult to eat normally- snacks for the train, meals out, snacks for the hotel room etc…. My wegovy came with an anti diarrhoea and an anti sickness prescription which I wasn’t expecting but is good to have in case.

so far I’m not hungry but I’m a usual breakfast skipper so that may just be coincidence. I’m slightly nauseous but again I need to remember my iron, and I’ve not had much sleep so that would explain it.

I received my order from Simple Online Pharmacy yesterday. Took one this morning, just starting to feel some slight nausea

Took my first one this morning. It is a bitter pill to swallow (lol) so defo need a slug of water with it. I'm slightly nauseous already and no interest in food. Don't know if that is a placebo effect. If my appetite remains suppressed I still aim to make myself eat three reasonable meals a day. I want very slow weightloss that I can maintain when I come off.

My order from Voy has gone from saying it was dispatched to now saying it is being packed by pharmacy. Not happy!! 😡

I’m currently on 2.5mg of mounjaro and really considering switching to the wegovy pills so this thread is good to see ☺️ wishing everyone luck in their weight loss journeys and looking forward to seeing everyone’s results and feedback on the pills xx

@Florabella I've got exactly the same from Voy. I was expecting it 7/8 July now says being packed at pharmacy. Payment taken two days ago so I'm ridiculously annoyed!

Me too but it's going to be a long haul so I really need to find my patience which seems to have eloped with my self control! Sigh.

Same thing here with Voy, they must be inundated. Fingers crossed mine arrive before the weekend because I’m going away for several days.

I took my first one this morning, slight headache today but no real changes to hunger (although I haven't been tempted by the staff room biscuit tin as I usually am).
I am only expecting to notice a difference in week two or three as semaglutide has an accumulative effect and builds up in the system.
The bitterness everyone refers to reminds me of anti-malaria tablets I was given as a child growing up in Africa.

Keeping my chubby little fingers crossed that everyone else's arrive today and we can all get started together!

It does give me some comfort that I am not the only one missing mine, so I hope we all get them very soon. I am going away in 2 weeks so I really wanted to get started now so that the worst side effects might have calmed down by then

It's worth a shot. It's so frustrating when you plateau. I just want to lose enough that the fluctuating 4 lbs are all in the healthy weight BMI range and maybe drop 1/2-1 dress size because, ermm, I'm vain!

The very first day I also got a headache but that was mainly because, far from turning off food noise, it felt like my head spent the whole day yelling, "You're not hungry!" at me at full volume. I'm very glad that only lasted the first day.

I"m in! Started 160lbs on Thursday. Down to 156. No goal weight, just a goal feeling.

Mine didn’t (from Voy): it was a box / cube about 5”.

So Day 1 in the bag. I felt fine. Kefir (which I normally LOVE) turned my stomach so I didn’t have it but otherwise all completely normal. Ate what I had planned to (quite a lot) but not even slightly tempted to snack which is unheard of in recent months. Placebo effect or Wegovy? I don’t care. More of the same please. Slept less well than normal but hey, it was hot. 2lbs down this morning! 😮

I definitely ate less yesterday but hard to tell if it's due to the heat. I've also woken up with a banging headache but again could be the heat rather than the pill
