Ooh can I join this thread please, was feeling awful about myself on Sunday evening and ordered through Juniper (has anyone else?), don't need to lose that much weight but I have been really trying on my own and nothing is happening. Hoping the pills give me the boost I need.

dolphin17 · 07/07/2026 14:59

Just received mine, tomorrow morning !!

Florabella · 07/07/2026 16:01

Disappointed mine didn’t arrive today. Just want to get started

Do you mean you’ve actually ordered or added yourself to a mailing list to get a notification when they’re in stock?

postie has just been! I’ve also been prescribed some anti nausea and anti diarrhoea tabs which I wasn’t expecting but seems a good idea.

i am actually a bit emotional now at the thought of getting off this food treadmill.

I’ve had a dispatch notification and they’re coming tomorrow. I assumed once they were available I would have to submit something or speak to someone but I feel quite uneasy that no one has done any checks at all.

Sparklybat · 07/07/2026 16:23

SilenceInside · 07/07/2026 13:16

@Sparklybat Do you mean a check before you could be added to the waiting list? Or do you mean checks before whichever pharmacy this is actually prescribed the tablets to you?

I thought I would need to send photos or have a video consultation but nothing.

SilenceInside · 07/07/2026 16:25

@Sparklybat but surely you did that in order to pay? Just being on the mailing list wouldn’t be enough to send you out the tablets. Which pharmacy was this?

I paid but it said something along the lines of ‘if not approved you will be refunded’. So I assumed someone as some point would want visual or scale based evidence. I have Royal Mail tracking details so it is real.

SilenceInside · 07/07/2026 17:14

Which pharmacy is it @Sparklybat ? Pharmacies should have some method of independently checking the information that you enter into the online form, whether that's accessing your NHS summary care record, uploading photos, uploading videos, live video consultation or whatever. So it would make me concerned about whether you're using a legitimate pharmacy given that they haven't.

chalkyc2 · 07/07/2026 17:31

Mine are coming tomorrow! I hope they will post them as no one will be in…..

I’m reluctant to share given the apparent lack of regulation and the posts on here where people who are not overweight are seeking to access them. They are a genuine online pharmacy who I have used for prescriptions before. I think I gave them my GP details but I don’t think my GP has my weight.

My BMI is 28. I am undecided about using them and wavering so assumed I’d just be able to decline at the check that never happened.

SilenceInside · 07/07/2026 17:50

I would communicate the lack of checks to them directly, @Sparklybat, as a complaint and mention them not being compliant with the GPhC guidelines. It may be that there is some kind of issue with their system and it should have been checked but wasn’t.

@maybethisway i signed up with Voy; had a video call where clinician looked at me to check I was overweight and I stood on scales for her to see. Quick chat about medical conditions (I am not bmi 30+ but am 27+ with other conditions). With Voy you can choose whether they tell your GP or not. They ask about other medications you are taking and talk through side effects. Other providers may do differently.

Dr Khaan on Instagram said that this company used his image to promote their products without his permission. I don't trust them. Be careful.

Just had notification that mine are due tomorrow via Royal Mail (says signature not required).

chalkyc2 · 07/07/2026 22:26

Oh good! My teens are home but they are not reliable door answerers!

snoopydoopydo · 07/07/2026 23:03

I've just been notified that mine will arrive on Thursday. I'd like to start ASAP, but I'm going away for the weekend and have a 3hr train journey there and back. I'm wondering if it would be better to wait until Monday, in case I suffer with any side effects?

AndCallMeNancy · 07/07/2026 23:54

I’ve ordered from Bolt. Submitted my photos etc today and was approved within a few hours and then had a further email saying meds were being dispatched. I did MJ for 6 months last year, loved the lack of food noise but didn’t calorie count etc. I did lose weight, just shy of 2 stones I think, felt great but came off MJ and have regained most of that weight sadly. So, am giving weight loss meds another go and this time plan to do it differently in the hope I can sustain it long term. BMI is 29. This time I will track cals and exercise, no more dicking around!

I hope the suppression is as good as MJ, or at least close enough. Interested to hear everyone’s experiences x

PillPoppin · 08/07/2026 00:38

Changed my name for this thread. I'm on day 5 at .25. Have had zero side effects and lost 4lbs....the same 4lbs I've been yoyo-ing on for ages so let's hope this time it stays off. Am now looking forward to losing the next 14. My BMII is 25.5 so not hugely overweight but wanted a kickstart to help finish the weight loss journey I've been on just by food and exercise.

PillPoppin · 08/07/2026 02:27

1.5 not .25! For some reason my brain is struggling to compute that as I told DH 0.25 too!

Laska2Meryls · 08/07/2026 08:16

I have taken my first tablet this morning despite hlfamily meal this evening, its Thai ,so I can make good choices and ill be driving..
Start weight 12.7.5 ... I want to lose at least 2.5 stone so 🤞.
Ive done it before on fast diet (about 12 years ago , but regained after a couple of years and have never managed to get back to it properly ) so hoping I can do it again with wegovy help.. Excited!

Might be best to wait - or take some Imodium with you just in case.

I was exactly the same, and totally agree with the new approach, I took my first one at 5.45 this morning, everyone take note they has a really horrid and strong taste, tomorrow I’m going to have a sip of water in my mouth before the pill, it really was horrible

Me too this morning, what did you think about the taste? I thought it was awful

socks1107 · 08/07/2026 08:42

@PillPoppin. I’m exactly where you are. Lost 3.5 stone diet and exercise and my BMI is now 25.4 but has been there since the end of March despite a 1400 calorie diet and exercise. If I try to eat less I’m starving and miserable so I’m contemplating the pills to help me on the final bit
