@JabbaJibba That is amazing progress! You must feel so proud!

@Bipaloss Glad to hear the weight is on the move again!

@northernlight20 I’ve also found holiday weight actually comes off quite quickly if you just focus when you’re back. I’m sure lots of it is water weight.

Still maintaining here although more towards the top end of my comfortable range. I’m going to try and get 4 or 5 pounds off now so that I’ve got some in the bank before I go on holiday. And I know September and October are going to be busy work months with lots of travel so again banking some pounds is sensible. I know what my lowest healthy weight is so as long as I don’t drop below that I won’t worry about being on the lighter end of normal for a bit. Janice might have to keep her gob shut though.

I had a Janice moment yesterday but of the male sex so we will call him Jeremy!

He told me I had gone too far and that I was looking ill and that I need to start lifting heavy weights oh Jeremy I am! And I need to stop injecting (not done that for months) he does not know I was in MJ.

I said OH Jeremy let me give you some words of advice you are obese weigh 19 stone can’t go up stairs without being out of breath and you need a new knee, come back to me with your own opinions when you are in a healthy BMI like I am.

I would have never said anything before and just smiled I am not sure if it’s perimenopause or my new found confidence but my goodness it liberating.

I can confirm that Jeremy is a cockwomble

Good for you @TheSpoonyNavyReader. I’m gobsmacked at how free people are with their negative comments on weight loss.

TheBossOfMe · 19/07/2026 19:35

The cockwombles are clearly out in force this weekend. I've just got back from an afternoon BBQ at my DD's godmother. The brother of her husband decided it was appropriate to berate me in front of all the guests for being too thin, looking old, and losing tit size. Fortunately DD's godmother takes no shit from anyone. I don't think he'll be commenting again.

@TheBossOfMe what a k*ob, glad you had some good back up there.

Had a size 8 Janice acquaintance this weekend ‘concerned’ for me. “You’re so TINY!!” she kept repeating. Yes, I’m the same size as you now Janice. Must be very difficult for you. (I said to myself later)

TheBossOfMe · Yesterday 20:23

@Ingangoolie I honestly don’t know what goes through people’s heads when they comment on someone’s appearance. It’s so rude. I couldn’t really give a crap if I look a bit older. TBH I don’t think I do, almost everyone says how well I look. I’ll take all the wonderful NSVs and knowing that I’m more likely to avoid getting T2 diabetes or any of the many other weight related diseases that have killed almost everyone in my parents generation over a few bits of saggy skin. And BTW cockwomble, my tits are still magnificent 😂
