Still here! Sorry for responding to old messages....

Congratulations to all of you who are doing so, so well ❤️

@ShesRunningOutTheDoor you look freakin' amazing.

My tummy is sooooo much worse than yours.
Good for you.

My bmi currently 26.something.
A healthy bmi is literally waving at me!!!!

I work in schools, so the summer off. A job for myself is to sell some of the clothes i HATED on vinted (will keep some in case i fail. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 I don't).
Any tips?

Also, someone mentioned donating second hand pants.
Can someone remind me, please?

Hi all has anybody had to miss a week or 2 then restart if so how did you find it ? Having a procedure soon so was told I should stop week before and week after just curious if anyone has any experience of it. Not missed a dose in over a year. 🧐

Contact your provider, they’ll give you advice.

Crinklecat · 24/07/2026 10:01

@RussianDoll76 i did when I got food poisoning and put on half a stone, although I think MJ helps with my inflammation a lot so think most of that was the cause. Did make me nervous of coming off though

I’m still overweight although get comments from people that I’m “wasting away”, I just put this down to me being nearly 6 stone down from what they’re used to for me. They’ll get used to it

I’m so cross I let myself get so big. My crinkly skin in random places like my armpits, boobs, thighs, knees etc is really starting to annoy me

Sogfree · 28/07/2026 12:54

Anyone else struggling with the summer?

I've given up running and exercise in general as I'm too hot and too tired.

I'm currently on a holiday with my own chef, and he's cooking full meals 3 times a day (7 or 8 full bowls of great food 😳).

I've been on 7.5mg for 9 months now...I think I'm going up to 10 in September 🤣

Clothes are feeling tight. Belly is feeling big.

I never thought I'd say roll on the autumn!

FoxRedPuppy · 28/07/2026 16:44

I generally find summer easier as I get less hungry in hot weather and more likely to choose salad!

Running is harder, but I go early, but more often later when it’s cooler.

I’m finding summer harder too, for the same reasons - it’s too hot to exercise! Plus the kids are mainlining ice creams and I’m finding it REALLY hard not to join them. The jabs are helping but the cravings haven’t entirely gone away!!

Focusispower · 28/07/2026 19:28

I find summer harder for sure! Holidays and lots of treats, and more temptation to drink, but balanced by lower appetite. I’m still maintaining but I feel like I am fluctuating more and making less healthy choices. I probably need to step up the exercising but the heat has made it harder.

I took a load of larger size jeans and work clothes to the charity shop yesterday. That felt good!

FoxRedPuppy · 28/07/2026 21:20

I’ve been away in Yorkshire dales and it’s not got much above 18! I’ve walked 11 miles in two days, but that’s with many teens, otherwise would have probably been more. Maybe move north 😂. We also live in the north and it hasn’t been as hot for a week or so.

Weight lifting is easier to do in heat than cardio and better for weight loss/maintaining.

I’ve been away on holiday and didn’t jab while away. But it was wilderness holiday on Canada, so lots of drinking but also walking and outdoors and cooking ourselves (think noodles by a campfire!) I think maybe I have different summers to other people 😂.

Well done @Focusispower . I bet it felt great!

I didn't bring my weights away with me @FoxRedPuppy 🤣

Crinklecat · 29/07/2026 15:13

I’ve found a down side to the weight loss… I now post cringe hot dog leg photos on social media 😏

MsRinky · 30/07/2026 09:13

Ha! I don't but I do find myself looking down at my legs and thinking about it occasionally!

Crinklecat · 30/07/2026 15:39

@MsRinky do it, it’s liberating!

I definitely find running in the heat much much harder so I’ve switched from late afternoon to early mornings for my runs, when it’s much cooler. It’s still much harder to do the distances or the speeds but I still like to get those runs in!
@FoxRedPuppy we love walking in the dales too, especially Swaledale and Wensleydale. Amazing part of the country ❤️

HappyWineDay · 30/07/2026 23:01

Oh, and rather than eating ice cream, we actually find hot weather easier for watching what we eat. Rather than big dinners with starchy potato, we switch to delicious salads, so many different types. We’re not shy with amazing tasty dressings but it’s easy to stay low carb.
oh, we do like a glass of rosê though!

MsRinky · 04/08/2026 13:43

I just cried in front of the mirror. Am holiday packing and have been rummaging in the deepest recesses of my wardrobe. Found the army surplus combat trousers I lived in when I was 17. I really don't know why I have kept them through myriad house moves, I would find them every few years and marvel that I was ever young and slim enough to fit into them and then somehow not be able to throw them away. Look! Proof that I wasn't always fat!

They fit. I am 53. Fucking hell. It's been worth every 7am gym session, every glass of wine turned down, every time I've had chicken and vegetables when I would have liked to have had pizza. Just needed to tell someone...
