I'm pleased in finally at goal and starting to titrate down because the pen I received today is the new type with no extra dose. 😢
I'm sticking with the higher dose pen though, so should still get 5 doses from it.

Crinklecat · 23/08/2026 08:01

My initial goal was a 5 1/2 stone loss, then upped to 6 stone loss, which I’m less than a lb from achieving! This leaves me still overweight and now I’m tempted to get another stone off that will make me average weight. I know I’ll gain at least half a stone of water/ inflammation when I stop MJ from experience anyway. How did you all know when to stop? It’s so expensive 😬 although I’m probably going to stay on a smaller dose forever

and also I’m 10 stone something for the first time in as long as I can remember Yeay!

Well done Crinklecat

Im similarly close to healthy BMI and have lost a lot, my start weight was 17st 12, current 10st 8 and healthy BMI 10st 4.

Personally, im aiming for 8st 12 to 9st 7, which is BMI 21.5 to 22.5. The idea of being 9st something, let alone 8 st something, blows my mind! But this gives me wriggle room to allow for some weight gain holidays, Christmas etc but while staying in healthy range. I'd like to start titrating down, im going to once im below 10st 4.

Crinklecat · 23/08/2026 10:20

Well done @AmberLime that’s amazing! My last stone has been slow and I’m already a bit saggy. The bits that bother me most are my boobs and strangely my wrinkly armpits! My tummy and upper thighs are quite saggy but not awful.

I’ve had to order some 30 band bras so my back is already pretty slim but my tummy still has an overhang. I’m sure that’ll never go due to C-section and saggy/ stretch marked skin but it’s better than it was

Right now I'm on holiday and looking at all this amazing food I have no room in my belly to eat and thinking FU MJ.

I miss eating excessive amounts of food. I miss enjoying a lot of food. The tasters I've had tonight are great, but I've spent a lot of money (again) on my dinner to only have a few bites.

I know. I know I can't have it both ways but right now I miss the old me that would eat excessively and enjoy.

Crinklecat · 23/08/2026 16:51

@Sogfree i totally get that. I tend to order smaller portions/ starters so I can enjoy the whole thing. I have found my ability to push past that feeling is improving though … not a good thing and hence the slow progress the last couple of months

ihavetocookagain · 23/08/2026 18:41

@Sogfreei learnt from one holiday when I injected 7.5mg instead of 6.25mg and couldn’t eat a thing for a couple of days, ruined my food experience. This last holiday I took a smaller dose before I went so I could eat some nice food - and yes it took me a few weeks to recover my weight!! That said, it still suppressed my appetite somewhat but I didn’t gorge like I used to!

Nomorechocs · 23/08/2026 19:54

@Crinklecat amd @AmberLime I have very similar weight milestones to you both - have lost 6.5stone and today am 10st13lb! Have one 10mg pen left, will be 5 doses, then I’m going down to 7.5mg. I never thought I would be this successful! Well done to us!

Sogfree · 24/08/2026 07:13

Thanks @Crinklecat and @ihavetocookagain .

I love food. I love being so thin too. I used to love gorging at occasions, as some food is so tasty. Last night was one of those!

But like you, I'm loving the numbers on the scales and recognise that I can only eat a few mouthfuls now for that very reason.

I'll be watching your titration journeys with interest, as I'm interested to know how this all levels out. Like you @AmberLime , I'm close to the 8st something and can't quite believe it!

Bloozie · 24/08/2026 22:10

I've had a tough few weeks - son's 18th, outstanding college results, best friend's 50th, husband's birthday, three day-long gigs... I'm titrating down and so my appetite is normal. I've eaten a LOT of celebration food and festival food, and drunk even more drinks.

But - and I'm really hoping this is a whole new me forever - on the days where nothing's been going on, I've been able to go back to my usual calorie-restricted diet, without feeling like I've failed so there's no point and I may as well carry on eating shit, and I actually look forward to getting back to my usual diet. I enjoy chicken salads with fruit or greek yoghurt for pudding, and snacking on boiled eggs. I'm not finding food hard.

So I've put weight on, but not too much - 1.5kg. And I've been able to stick to my exercise - I missed one yoga session to a party, one pilates class to the heat and one gym session to a hangover. That's it - and given I commit to at least 30 minutes every day, with some days having more (Thursdays are peak 2.25 hours of exercise), I'm quite proud of myself.

My loose skin is getting looser, my thighs are SO wobbly now there's less fat, more muscle and then loose skin... Imagine a balloon with a teacup of water in - nice... I'm a 12 on top and waist, and I was a 14 on my bottom, but it's gone up to a 16. I'm like a melted candle. I don't care.

I'm really enjoying buying new clothes. Only from Vinted and charity shops/car boots. I'm broke. But i'm getting some great stuff and I am THRILLED that I fit into teenage sizes - an age 14 boy's t-shirt is a loose skinny fit on me, I have some amazing vintage Nike t-shirts that I bought for buttons.

Doing OK. Just need to keep it up forever. No biggie. I'm thinking of framing it like an alcoholic would. My name's Bloozie and I've been a healthier weight for 3 months now... 4 months now... 5 years now. Avoid complacency. I am in recovery from obesity and food addiction and I will be for life.

RussianDoll76 · 25/08/2026 08:00

@Blooziei love this ! It is so good to see you embracing the changes . You should be proud and you should hold on to your achievement I too am a recovering food addict and always will be . I bought myself a white gold diamond band it wasn’t mega expensive it’s tiny and I know if I gain weight it won’t fit me anymore so it’s my reminder that I have to work at being smaller fitter and healthier to be happier . I totally understand your joy of smaller clothes I’m wearing teenagers clothes too and my OH calls me the vinted slut 😂 there is always a parcel to be collected! 🥴.

Sogfree · 25/08/2026 11:58

@Bloozie that's amazing.

Keep it up girl!
