I’ve been MIA for a few weeks, busy with work and annual leave and honestly got a bit obsessed with my daily weigh ins so had a bit of a break from it all!!
Ive actually had two further jabs since I last posted, both 3.75mg but I moved up the second one by a few days. I told myself it was because I was going away for a few days but really I wasn’t happy with the number on the scale! No side effects from doing this, but won’t be doing that again! I’m focussing more on how I feel, energy levels etc and going to leave off logging my weight every day for a wee while.
So I jabbed Thursday 9th Oct and again Tuesday 14th. Been away for a few days, back last night.
Today I am 0.4kg away from the final goal I set myself (mid point of a healthy BMI that’s literally the only reason for that quite random figure of 67.4kg!)
SW 92.9kg BMI 30
CW 67.8kg BMI 21.9
Total loss 25.1kg or 55lbs nearly 4 stone!! 27% of myself gone. 23 jabs completed since I started in May.
Id convinced myself that the MJ wasn’t working and jabbed early but really should have just trusted the process and remembered that the scale will go up and down and there are other measures of success in this game!
I also read some great advice on other threads about the sheer volume of calories you’d need to consume in a few days for the fluctuations to be actual fat gained! Yeah I’ve been on holiday but no I didn’t have 10k cals at the breakfast buffet!!!
Maybe it’s jitters because I am so close to my goal and maintaining but been an interesting few weeks! It’s my birthday tomorrow and going to enjoy myself with the usual limitations that I have learned are actually ok! I can have some fizz, I can eat a bit of whatever I want and I will still get my steps in, go for a birthday run and be active while I celebrate!
As always so much good advice being shared here and I’m inspired having read through what I’ve missed, so much to celebrate and I love how we build each other up too!
