Our house buyers have just pulled out after 4 months. And I’m having SE for the first time. And it’s absolutely pouring and I’m soaked from chasing stupid horses round the field trying to get them out of the bad weather (and then the stupid cat round the garden! Still haven’t got her to come in). Fed up.com!

Oh my god @Gingercar I'm so sorry. That's really shit :(. I wish the sale/purchase process didn't take so long here, I think it leaves more time for people to get cold feet (I nearly said wet feet, must be the weather). I'm so sorry.

@MyScaredCat oh no, it is ponably very hard to wait for the results… not knowing is the worst. I hope you find out early tomorrow, to put your mind at ease. Whether it is gallstones (and you can be directed to the right treatment) or something else (and need further investigation) at least things will be on their way to get better. Dont make yourself sock with worry.
@Gingercarhow frustrating! Buying/selling houses can be such an emotional rollercoaster. When we sold our flat, the sale broke out FOUR times. We did manage to get a slightly higher price each time but it did put all on plans on hold for an extra year… i hope that things on the home front will imrpove soon. I think a cup of tea and a shortbread are in order!

@MyScaredCat semdimg hugs & hope results come quick & mean you get some answers & hopefully reassurance and/ or a plan. Either way stopping MJ sounds sensible & well done on shedding 3st!!! What an achievement!!!

we had a family birthday at the weekend and I over indulged & didn’t half feel bloated & sluggish today!!!

I knew I would be but it didn’t stop me - I still need to figure out how to manage these moments as mj helps but I override it on occasions quite mindfully then get cross at myself

I think because I think of if I do that now how will I be without MJ at the other side of all this .

I need to learn to trust myself at some point as logically I know life has these moments and it’s what we do most of the time that counts but it’s hard to change long held thought patterns!

I’m so sorry @Gingercar that’s a sucker punch. Hope you have at least warmed up since you posted and the animals are behaving.

Oh @Gingercar - house purchases, SEs, wet horses and cats - that's just too much! Tomorrow will be drier and other buyers will appear soon.

@MyScaredCat ir sounds as if you're being very sensible. Hopefully it will turn out to be one if those twinges we all get from time to time and just disappear of its own accord. But you're so close to the weight you want to be - congratulations.
@Seahorsesplendour the bumps in the road are opportunities to practise. We'll all get there in the end but you're right - it is hard. Can you invoke the Dowager duchess looking down her nose at you and saying 'oh no, you don't want that' in a disapproving tone?

@Gingercar so sorry to hear about your sale falling through. Our last move went like that and I can still remember the absolute stress ! Finally it did happen, the same buyer came back a couple of months later but then chiselled us on the price by a few grand because he knew by that time we were desperate! Moving can be so bad for the mental health and people are so not honest or honerable in all cases ☹️. Chin up it all will work out in the end sending you calming fluffy thoughts and vibes x

On a good note, my BMI is 30!! Which means if i lose even 1lbs, i will be overweight!!!! “Makes a little dance”
The last time i was 83kg was in 2018! And suddenly it feels like being under 80kg is a possible thing!!! I have lost 15kg so far… 10-12kg to go!!! So happy! 😀

Another lb off for me. It’s slow this month, but still moving!

I went bra shopping today. Expensive, but I feel I deserved it.

Had a bit of a shock to the system last night and have got far too blasé about my eating habits.

Was a bit peckish during the day and ended up having quite a sizeable jacket potato last night with tuna and some avocado that needed eating.

Felt a bit uncomfortable when I went to bed and woke up at 1an in quite serious pain across my stomach and lower back. Felt quite sick too.

I think this was my digestive system reminding me to be more mindful at my food choices.

Feel better today but tummy is still a bit tender.

It's been raining constantly here for days and it isn't due to stop until the 26th. It's gross! I feel mildly damp and frizzy all day from the school run. It's making me want to book a last minute holiday for half term so we can leave the soggy UK behind for a bit.

@Gingercar sorry to hear about your house sale falling through. I’m going through similar and just took a call from our estate agent- thought he was going to tell me the whole chain had collapsed but thank god it hasn’t but our purchasers are being very diligent in their dealings and it’s nail biting!l so I really feel for you.

on the weight front I’m now finally into the 10’s hurrah. 6lbs to go to get to goal but it’s taking a very very looong time.

Morning. Wanted to post an update in case anyone comes across my post and worries about gallbladder.
GP just phoned to say my bloods came back normal. No sign of infection and pancreas, gallbladder and liver all working as they should. Doesn’t solve the mystery of this pain, so I’m now being referred for an ultrasound. But just wanted to reassure anyone who is like me and thinks they’re dying because they dared to use WLI.

And it’s definitely not morning 🤦🏼‍♀️

Thanks Lizzie. Got my fingers crossed for you. We are more and more leaning towards keeping it and doing holiday lets. We are very rural and it has fabulous views. (We have moved into my late father’s house next door).

Glad to hear that your tests have been clear so far, MyScared Cat. Hope you get to the bottom of the pain though.
