Aw thank you everyone. I’m just beginning to not hate the way I look in things and this dress does certainly make the most of my er… assets. So I’m very happy with it.

I forgot to do my jab day check in!

1.75lbs off this week. Just over half a stone to go before I'm into my goal range. So all good, really.

Started March 24th. Currently on second 10mg pen.

Size 14 jeans that I bought "ahead" are starting to fit now while the 16s are getting a bit loose.

you must be very nearly not obese now? You’re only about half a stone away from being in the healthy bracket for my height so you must be nearly ‘just’ overweight?

I've noticed since stopping MJ that mid morning is the hardest time for me re hunger - I do IF so lunch is the first meal of the day for me. Around 10.30/11am I get really hungry, but am resisting the urge to eat, and just drinking water or tea instead, which seems to calm the rumbles down until lunch. I definitely can't maintain on 3 meals a day, my TDEE is too low, and even with a lot of exercise, my maintain calories are really only enough to do two meals a day unless I radically change what I eat. Which I don't want to because I like my food and I like cooking. I think I'll be doing IF for the rest of my life.

I'm struggling. I got to 161lbs and was happy but then went on holiday and it's now crept up to 164-6. Im taking 2.5mg every week but my food noise (i hate that term) has come back. If I'm in of an evening, I feel like I'm constantly wondering what I can eat next. It's not great.

I know what I need to do. So I'm back on the tracking train to get these rogue lbs off. Going to increase back to 5mg next pen and try to drop a bit lower I think. Ideal weight is 146-151lbs so I'm going to aim for 150.

Feeling a bit meh but still inspired by you all.

PS. Summer dieting is soooo much easier! I just want mash and gravy in this weather.

@MJ122025 its harder when it’s crappy weather for sure, harder to get out there for exercise and I’m eating more UPF non food and this makes more food noise.

I’m stuck at 9lb off target.

Like you I’m going to focus more on what food I’m eating and maybe find a fun indoor activity/exercise to keep up momentum over the winter.

An update from my titrating down (week 5):
highest: .8mg Wegovy -> .7mg x2 -> .65mg -> .5mg x2

I’m the same weight as I was when starting titrating down 4 weeks ago, but there’s more hunger and more food noise. On Wegovy (more “working” doses) I used to be able to eat breakfast + lunch + a small meal/snack in the evening, now I have days when I’m hungry for a large meal+dessert in the evening.

Something I’ve always struggled with was not feeling full until I’ve had a sweet treat after a proper meal, it was amazing to not have that need on Wegovy, but sadly it’s back. I’m a bit better at recognising how much sweet stuff I’ve had during the day than before WLIs, a bit better at the mindset “I really don’t NEED a third treat in a day for Christ sake!”, but the noise is back and I’m not happy.

My plan is to start having a late-afternoon, protein-heavy small meal to hopefully not let me go all the way to “starving, need snacks now now NOW”. But I’m a bit worried to be honest, I was hoping that with slow dose decreases (what I’m doing is slow, right? RIGHT?) I was hoping the hunger will not be that strong so soon 😔

@LilyLondon The return of wanting to snack has definitely been talked about a lot on some of the other maintenance threads I'm reading on here and on Reddit. I think it's probably the area that people are most having to rely on willpower to push through - although your protein heavy small meal is probably a good solution. I have been known to snack on a boiled egg if I'm really hungry - it's only 70 calories, really filling, and on days when I have one in the afternoon, it actually seems to help me keep to a smaller portion size at dinner.

Hi all, it’s been a while since I posted! This week my weight has finally shifted after taking 10mg for the first time. This was from my 7.5pen. I was stuck for around 6 weeks or so..I’m now 4 & half stone down and bmi has reduced 10 points. I have 1 stone 5 to go to get into healthy bmi range.
I’ll catch up properly in the thread later

It’s been now 16 days since my last dose and 34 days since my highest dose

I now feel MJ is out of system completely

the water retention is back, I’m puffy in all the wrong places (Tummy)) and I find myself snacking again

I agree , it’s not the food portion or what I eat that I’m less able to control I noticed back to very bad old habit of snacking as food noise /cravings is back with a vengeance

back to self control now as this is going to be harder then I thought (still bouncing but now up 2 lb since lowest weight) 🫩

pretty happy with this. My organisation and planning in life as a whole but especially around food has been very poor recently. I’ve adjusted my expectations to just aim for continuous losses week in week no matter how small so a mini whoosh of 3lb in a week is great.

I’ve got 1 month almost exactly left until I go on my cruise for Xmas so the goal is to be at 15st or below for then. I’ve found myself being excited about clothes for the first time in years.

I’ve used some of the money I’ve saved by the stockpiling and not jabbing every week to buy 6 sessions of CACI.
Just had number 2 and quite pleased.

(and it’s distracting me from the appallingly saggy version of me round my middle area!)

anyone else got any experience / words of wisdom about CACI?

@LilyLondon @Bipaloss I am sooo struggling with “maintenance” too (like, I’m not maintaining, I’m gaining). Even though I’ve only gained 5lbs while titrating down to 2.5mg (from 7.5mg) I look like I’ve gained so much more and you’re right it’s the puffiness in the tummy and the face. But it’s my attitude / behaviour around food that’s most unsettling me. I’m eating so much shit, I think about food all the time. Sweets, crisps, chocolates, wine. I have difficult guests staying at the minute and tonight I have literally sneaked two twixes out of the kitchen past them to eat in bed because my perception is that brings me joy / is a treat / I deserve it. I’ve just scoffed them! I’m still on 2.5mg!!! I’m going back up to 5mg tomorrow until I work out a strategy to live life how I loved living it while on MJ properly. It made me feel like a normal person

peeps I have given in only 18 days after last dose 😭😢🥺😔☹️

I have order a other 2.5 dose and restarting (pen approved and on the way)

the munching , the craving the non ending , if i don’t stop it now i am gonna regain it all in a few weeks

i rather loose 2 st now and then regain another 2 st if you all get what , all I want is to stay under 30 bmi (which I’m am currently hover around despite being 27 a month ago)

when I start, I then decide once I see how it works, if same then I rather go down another 4 to go to lowest bmi to leave room for gain if not then goal is another 2st then stop

omg can’t believe this is how much it was addictive necessary and neeeded going semi cold turkey is working at all! Take it slow down the doses !

I'm not near maintenance yet I'm still obese but it's definitely playing on my mind.

@Outsidebeanshop I definitely agree with what you say that on MJ you feel like a normal person. For me it's an absolute miracle drug my head just feels so calm and organised, I can't believe the difference. I never want to stop MJ if I can help it as the non weight loss benefits are so amazing. And the weight loss if course. I'm the woman who would sometimes eat crisps for breakfast and now I'm having greek yogurt and chia seeds who even am I 😂

Would staying on 7.5mg be an option for you if it was working?
