@GiveMeWordGames @popdepop ,will the pen not just do 70 clicks,? I have messed around with doses but I think when I have injected more it's been the end of a pen and starting another so had to inject twice, if the pen will turn to 70 clicks you could do it in one injection.
This week boring, hungry and injected 2.5
SW 12.7
CW 8.5
bounced up and down 8.4 and 8.5 this week.

popdepop · 18/10/2025 13:44

GiveMeWordGames · 18/10/2025 12:58

I can't see why not if you're doing it straight away.

What you're going to have to do is keep a note of how many clicks you've done and what's left in the pen.

Yes. ive got some needles for the golden dose, so the 4th dose ill have to use somd of the golden dose to get the extra 10 clicks

TheBossOfMe · 18/10/2025 14:01

@Aboutmeabouttime - I ended up with about 3lb as a buffer before starting to titrate down, which means that even though the scales have bounced up and down a bit since reaching goal, I’ve never really gone above goal weight. And like you I’m planning to try and go into December/Christmas with those same 3 or 4 lb in the bank. I have zero intention of denying myself too much on holiday next week either, so am trying to hold a couple of pounds below goal before I go away next Sunday. Although @soupforbrainscautionary tale about too much alcohol might stick in my brain - I’ve definitely noticed I’m very acidy indeed after drinking wine.

GiveMeWordGames · 18/10/2025 14:14

@Fairfaxandflavor no, it won't let you go beyond 60 clicks for one jab unfortunately, even if it's not the 4th dose.

Puddingpiper · 18/10/2025 14:30

@popdepoponly downside of using the needle again is that is blunts after using once so can be a bit ouchy. I change my needle now after drawing the golden dose as even that seems to blunt them.

Flamethrowers · 18/10/2025 14:58

Hello all, hope you are all ok. , I seem to accidentally have started maintaining above goal (goal 60, cW 62.8). Started at 74kg and now up from 61.2 before holidays two months ago. I’ve never gone above 2.5 and on 2.5 I can now drink alcohol (though don’t really want it) and eat bread pastapotatoes chocolate and rice. I get hangry again. I excercise less and need to restart. At some point I’ll start stretching the MJ to 10 days, then two weeks but I am not ready to come off yet…

so i kept the needle in and did 10 extra clicks while it was in.. fingers crossed

I'm jealous of all of you still losing, reaching goal and doing really well. I'm still feeling like I'm on the road to nowhere, 18lb from goal, eating exactly the same as I have been doing, even exercising more and I've flat lined for 3 weeks nearly - ever since the curse of reaching the 4st milestone and my 6 month anniversary - I guess I'm not gaining that's a positive 🤣

Anyone else had this and how did it resolve? Someone on Reddit said that 6 months in, it's common but who knows.

Very frustrating!

Puddingpiper · 18/10/2025 17:27

@Yellowsubmarine55im in nearly the identical position 3st 14lbs down and no movement in just over 2 weeks with a minimum of 10lbs but probably 20lbs to go.

I recalculated my TDEE which is a depressingly low amount for cutting I’m struggling with 1400kcal per day.

probably no help other than a recommendation to try TDEE.co.uk

I'm similar, feel like I've injected water through last few weeks as portions have been creeping bigger and food noise has increased. Although today suppression is back weirdly as it's jab day so normally I'd be super hungry. Weight loss is also slowing. I'm almost 7 months in, just under 3 stone down with another 2-3 stone to go. I'm increasing to 10mg this evening.

Bipaloss · 19/10/2025 08:59

Hello all

lost 0.4 lb this week
CW 89.3 kg / 14.0 st
Total loss on MJ 25.7 kg / 4.1 st/ 57lb
Total loss 2025 32.7 kg/ 5.1 st / 72 lb

goal is to get to 88kg the coming week so that the scale start with a 13.

did 14mg (55 clicks) yesterday (up from 12.5) and will go down to 7mg (28 clicks) next Monday

Buscake · 19/10/2025 09:45

I also stalled for about 3 weeks which coincides with me starting doing weights consistently 2-3 times a week. I just kept doing what I’m doing and it finally dropped down another kg. I’m v nearly at goal (167cm, 67.1kg now with goal of 65kg). It worries me about how hard maintenance will be, but for now I’m choosing to trust the process that got me to this point - 30kg+ lost.

Erm… @Puddingpiper14lbs IS a stone… so 3st 14lb is 4 stone…??? Did you mean ounces? Or did you typo the number?

Puddingpiper · 19/10/2025 17:17

@soupforbrainsive been having this argument with Shotsy internally for a while I think it is because I weigh in kilos but still look at stones as well. I’m taking it as 4 stone.

Ingangoolie · 19/10/2025 20:57

Hi, good to catch up on how everyone is doing. @soupforbrains bravo.

To all the stallers, I’ve been at same weight for about a month, had an up and down again and then a maintain, went out loads for meals and +++carbs for a week away, and then back to normal for a week. I have hope, will keep at it.

Still on 2.5mg but have some weeks where I take it after 5 or 6 days, when I’m going to be away or also if I want a bit of a boost.

SW 13st 3lb
CW 9st 12lb
GW 9st

soupforbrains · 19/10/2025 20:58

Oh and a thank you to everyone who wished me luck/commiserated with my horrendous hungover ness I staggered through the day yesterday and then slept until midday today and have had a lovely day.

GiveMeWordGames · 20/10/2025 08:02

Glad you are recovered @soupforbrains 😁.

Things have definitely slowed down for me since I hit 4st off. I remember my pharmacist saying that around 13st is where it can get harder to lose at the same rate.

BUT! Jab day today and weight starts with a twelve! 🎉Only just, but I'll take it. It makes a 1.25 loss this week.

At 30 weeks. Currently on 10mg.

SW 17st 4
CW 12st 13.75
GW 11-12st

Total loss 4st 4.25/60.25lbs/27.33kg.

TheBossOfMe · 20/10/2025 13:50

Glad you're feeling better @soupforbrains

And great to hear that there's a new number on the scales @GiveMeWordGames

I think the slowing down a lot as you get closer to goal is really, really common. As is the slow down as you hit significant weight loss of 4st+. That seems to be a really big milestone that maybe the body tries to hang on to?

Weigh day today - had a very, very busy work and social week, with lots of dinners out and lots of office catering, but am still holding at goal. I'm going to be more careful this week because I'm going away for a break with DD on Sunday, so want a couple of pounds in the bank. But sunshine holidays aren't usually a major issue for me because I usually swim a lot, walk a fair bit, and don't really have anything apart from fruit for lunch, so I don't worry too much about gaining loads. A couple of pounds is fine, it'll come off again when I'm back.

I really need this holiday after such a horrendous summer. Things aren't quite completely back to normal with my friend and her mental health problems, but other friends have stepped in to have the children whilst DD and I go away. We need some time together on our own.

Aboutmeabouttime · 20/10/2025 15:02

We are also hitting winter where it can be harder to lose… bodies want reserves to ride out the colder weather!

That’s encouraging as I’m going semi cold turkey in the next couple of weeks 🤣

hubby came back today after 13 days and commented that I looked a lot slimmer since he left , he said you barely eat food in the last 6-7 months did you not eat at all while I was gone. I did not eat much and scale continues downwards into 13’s this morning but having done my last high dose Saturday (14 mg) the loss is short term.

I feel so relaxed having him home , I was nervous and very emotional before greeting him at airport with a mini mental breakdown but as I hugged him I felt content, and even though it’s very hard supporting him I feel may be egoistic of me I can relax a bit after 2 weeks.

i feel confident , I feel good at this weight allow a couple of kg’s plus minus over winter as now , more then ever it’s well being health and self therapy that’s is key, I feel if I can maintainance the next 3-4 months that’s proving that I can do this long term.

northernlight20 · 22/10/2025 07:36

Morning, jab and weigh day for me and I’m beyond happy.
sw 114.4kg
cw 80kg
gw 68kg
loss of 2.3kg after no loss last week and I’ve done nothing different! The mind boggles sometimes but either way I’ve lost a total of 75.6lbs and only 1.4lbs off 5 and half stones. And if I had a penny for every time someone told me not to go for far and to stop now, I’d be very rich 🙈

Ingangoolie · 22/10/2025 13:50

@northernlight20 fantastic
a few Janice’s round my way lately too. Let them fear us.

GameOfJones · 22/10/2025 19:08

Hi all, just checking in as I weighed today and I'm sitting at half a pound above goal, which is nothing really. After having a really hard first week when I stopped the jabs this week has been easier and I've been able to keep my meals sensible.

I am still sticking with the intermittent fasting but would ideally like to drop a couple of pounds below my goal weight so I have something in the bank for Christmas. DDs are off for half term next week which is always more difficult in terms of losing weight (or not putting it on.)

I'm currently at 10st 8lbs (by a few oz). Ideally I'd like to be 10st 4 or 5lbs with a view of not going above 10st 7lbs. But realistically these are tiny amounts that make zero difference to how I look or the fit of my clothes. I just want that mental set point to keep me on track.

Compared to the fact that I'd been somewhere between 14 and 15st 7lbs for the past six years before starting Mounjaro this feels revolutionary.

museumum · 23/10/2025 09:19

I am very stuck. Went up to 7.5mg but still stalled. I’m not near goal nor have I lost loads (2 stone lost, 1 to 1.5 to go).
I’ve started monitoring my hydration as I know that’s poor. Not sure what else to try really 😢
