Mounjaro side effects.

I took my first dose yesterday.

I have had severe effects from it all day today. I didn't realise that it would be this bad?

I have had severe nausea all day. I feel like I am going to throw up every ten minutes.

I have had really bad stomach pain.

I have had diarrohea.

I have had constant foul smelling sulphurus burps.

It's been awful.

Today's lesson: hyperbole, amateur dramatics and loaded statements such as 'what is this medication doing to our body?' will have people doubting your authenticity. Accusing people who challenge you of abuse will make it even worse.

Side effects threads are common and welcome here, I've never seen a single one go this way. The only differing factor - you and your language.

Bullshit.

If you've "never seen a single thread go this way"

How come a poster came on here, and wrote that she recognises names of posters on here, because they always abuse people who have a negative reaction to mounjato.

. She wrote that the posters who abused me are notorious for going on threads and arguing with anyone that experience side effects.

They are extremists who can't bare anything bad being said about mounjaro.

If you have a history of similiar behaviour , hopefully mumsnet bans you.

Because behaviour like that is extreme and utterly disturbed.

You've taken the poster's words of support about recognised names - changed and exaggerated them. Refer back to my previous post.

How are you feeling now OP? For someone who is more ill today than they have ever felt in their life, you sure are dedicating a lot of time to fighting online.

No I didn't change anything.

She wrote that the same posters go on every thread , and argue with people who suffer side effects from taking mounjaro.

She recognised the same names on my thread.

Those posters should be banned, as they are abusing people while they are sick

I just saw that there is another new thread where a poster has written that she is suffering severe nausea after taking mounjaro.

Do you know what i did? I went on her thread and sympathised with her. Because I am normal, and that is a normal reaction.

To the cruel, twisted people who abused me on this thread, i hope that some one is just as cruel to you when you are sick.

What goes around comes around

I think you should step away from the internet for a while. I tried to explain to you earlier but you just refused to listen or couldn’t understand. The other posters taking about side effects did not mention the jab not being safe. That is what got posters backs up on your thread. Prior to that comment nobody was doing anything but the same as on these other threads you keep mentioning.

BiscuitBotherer · 29/06/2025 21:52

@JustPinkFinch I concur. And the OP has misinterpreted (perhaps inadvertently?) the words of the PP. I’ve also never found the WLI threads cliquey. 🤷🏻‍♀️

it wasn’t really directed towards pink finch, but there’s a couple of other WL threads, the higher weight to lose ones where I can think of two or three users that are incredibly nasty. That’s obviously a small percentage of all the users here tho.

'Step away from the internet' what because you told me to?
You are such a controlling diva.

I see how your post conveniently ignores what I wrote about earlier.

A poster came on and wrote this: she said hat the people that abused me on here, go on every negative thread about mounjaro side effects and argue with the OP.

The abusers on here then got her post deleted, because she called out their behaviour across multiple threads.**

So I am not the only one it has happened to.

If this was me I was referring to posters on another thread. I haven’t bothered reading the whole one here. It’s probs best if you just stop replying to them if they’re pissing you off. Unwatch th thread is easy then you won’t get notified. Especially if you’re not feeling well

No not becsue I told you to, becsue it’s clearly stressing you out and you are already not well so probably don’t need it. I’m not trying to control you and I’m certainly no diva.

I haven’t ignored you deliberately, I have simply just tried to help you understand why the other threads re side effects have gone differently to yours; the other points you keep making about ‘she said’ don’t really matter to me. I only tried to help you see why the threads went differently

I mean all you had to do was report the posters who accused you of not being genuine and continue with the thread. Nobody was being cruel at all. I agree the posts questioning your motives were uncalled for, but certainly not cruel.

Mumsnet probs wouldn’t delete it. They’re lazy now about deleting a lot of stuff. I asked them to delete quite an identifying thread I stupidly wrote and they wouldn’t.

It is important that people talk about serious side effects that they are going through.

So other people can make an informed choice before they take it.

It's people like you that want to brush it under the carpet...

I am beginning to question your motives op. I think you are one of those weird people hell bent on scaremongering about WLJs. We have seen them from time to on mumsnet and in the media, resentful of people who use them.
If the post is genuine, your side effects are unpleasant but not 'serious'

friendlycat · 29/06/2025 23:30

The thing is some people will have side effects and some won’t. That’s actually true of most drugs.

I have some that include constipation and a strange unusual feeling in my lower stomach after eating. But they’re manageable and I accept them for the benefit of what this drug will do for me long term.

There will be others that this doesn’t work for them and they will experience things that are unpleasant and not worth the payback.

If someone is using this drug to lose say 2 stone then I’m not sure it’s worth it if experiencing bad symptoms. But for those of us who need to lose quite a lot of stone then there needs to be a balance of what works for the individual versus side effects.

But there will be some people who just can’t tolerate this drug. You may well be one of them and this isn’t the route for you.

This thread has gone really odd since I last posted but I just wanted to say I hope you’re starting to feel a bit better. As I said earlier, I was very unwell at the start with MJ (and felt quite panicky and as if I’d been ‘poisoned’ at the time so I can understand why your emotions might be heightened) but it did settle and I’m losing weight and actually not feeling too bad after each injection now.

OneGiddyRubyViewer · 30/06/2025 04:14

Urrrgh I’m so jealous of people with little to no side effects while I’ve been throwing up 14 times in the last 3 days since I started

Are you any better today OP? I think when I had them that they lasted three days and then got better. The medication has a really long half life so stays in your system for ages.

threeeggsontoast · 30/06/2025 11:58

Gosh, what a weird turn this thread took. 😂

I’m on W6 and only had minor side effects so far but I’ve noticed how high the suppression is on around day 2 or 3 and for the last 2 doses (on 5mg), that’s left me feeling quite bleurgh. It’s a very weird sensation to know you’ve not had many calories but still feel very, very full. I’m like that today (jabbed on Saturday) so in a way I can understand why people would be concerned as to how ‘artificial’ that feels. But I know that losing weight is going to be by far the best thing for me so I’m persevering through it.

Hope you’re feeling better OP. I find day 3/day 4 defo gets better.

I have been feeling better today thank you.

The first two days were the worse.

I haven't felt any appetite suppression yet at all. Maybe i will feel that tomorrow.

I am feeling better today, thank you for asking. I still have the sulphur burps, but my nausea is a lot less.
