Welcome to thread 11 to fellow MN weight loss friends old and new!
Feel free to lurk or post, absolutely no judgement here, just support and encouragement as we throw away the tent dresses, have no chub rub and wear ALL the damn shorts as we head towards Summer Holiday Season. 🙌

Join us here to celebrate NSV’s, weight loss milestones and generally mutually admire our new svelte frames!

I’m on W29 D5 and on my third 7.5mg pen
F in my early 50’s
H 5’ 5.5”
SW 13st 11lb
CW 10st 1.8lbs
GW 9st 13.9 (maybe 9st 7lb if I can)
Total loss so far 51.2 lbs

We recommend the Shotsy app to monitor the amount of MJ in the system and pleasing graphs to look at…plus the MeThreeSixty body scan app to monitor inch loss for the weeks where weight loss is slow but you might have lost body fat etc. Both are free.

Feel free to swap recipes that might inspire anyone in a food rut, tips for managing side effects, exercise tips, tips for maintenance, titrating up or down and we love a wellness/supplements/beauty/ style chat too 🥰

Current focus is on upping my activity and dh is supporting (after my mini rant - his hobbies have really picked up and I’m stuck home in the evenings, but that’s going to change)

Sunday we went kayaking and tonight we booked a local tennis court and played for an hour. Dc want to join us next week (except eldest who appears to be allergic to exercise despite being a 5’9” size 6). Off to see Alanis Morissette tomorrow so I’ll be dancing for exercise.

Ooh have fun!

I’m going to see Duran Duran and chic at the weekend. I might wear my original 1987 Duran Duran tour t shirt that I still have 😂

Now I understand the username @LindtCurves 😂 I love Lidl’s 70% dark chocolate bars. I buy the raspberry and salted caramel ones. A square or 2 is a lovely sweet hit. 69 cals a square.

Hmmm yes on a busy day I could down a 150g bar in an afternoon with some espressos! But it does carry consequences 😉

Sounds lovely, I'll chech them out! I used to like milkier chocolates, but on MJ I'm finding everything darker more satisfying, low cocoa/high milk + sugar chocolates just don't taste very nice to my pallet anymore... Have you noticed that?

That will be amazing! Definitely wear the vintage t shirt!

See you on the next thread!

I’ve just been to have a bra fitting after losing 34 lbs and hitting my goal weight. I put it off for a while as I wanted to make sure I was happy at my new weight and could maintain it for a few weeks. I have been wearing my old comfortable but very baggy bras since I started on MJ but looked at myself in the mirror this morning and realised I badly needed some new underpinnings! The difference is amazing. I’ve gone down quite a few back sizes but still have a decent cup size and the fit is so much more comfortable. I ended up buying 3 bras as I was so impressed with the look of them.

Fab! Where did you go?

I went to Bravissimo. I always get fitted there.
