D: peppered hot smoked salmon fillet, salad, cowboy caviar, a nectarine
S: double gold caramel billionaire magnum! It was AMAZING!!

@FoxRedPuppy I'm definitely not. I struggle to drink anything, always have, I am drinking a 1l bottle of clear protein water and a glass of squash a day. This is a great improvement on the coffee and fizzy drinks I was only drinking before!

I might try movicol, I'll ask my GP. Thanks

You can buy movicol from pharmacies as well. It does require you to drink more. Essentially it helps you absorb more water into your stool, which then softens it. Sorry if that’s TMI!

Yesterday: week 53, (yep, a whole year now!!), day 1, 10mg, dose 2 (again)
B: scrambled egg, feta, asparagus, smoked salmon
D: chicken shawarma, salad, yogurt flatbread
S: apple, honey roasted cashews
Usual supplements, green tea, 3 litres of water, yogi tea, CBD drink, 2 glasses of cava

Today: week 53, day 2, 10mg, dose 2 (again)
Pre-gym clear whey
B: scrambled egg, feta, asparagus, smoked salmon
D: 2 chicken thighs (left over shawarma!), cowboy caviar
S: apple, nectarine, honey roast cashews, small square of spinach, feta and bacon pizza in the pub!
Usual supplements, green tea, 3 litres of water, electrolytes, yogi tea, glass of prosecco, gin cocktail, Diet Coke

Wk 6, 5mg.

Today I had…

B: 3 scrambled eggs with a little bit of butter

L: Leon katsu curry beans (got it in a pouch from the supermarket on special offer - but it wasn’t that nice so won’t be having it again.

D: 2 x Sainsbury’s skinny burgers, a small flatbread, mushrooms cooked in teriyaki (yum!) and some cherry tomatoes.

My dinner was especially delicious and I didn’t think I’d be able to eat two burgers but they were quite thin and went down nicely!

3ls of water with collagen protein powder, vitamin gummies and no other snacks.

breakfast: tinned peaches and Greek yogurt

lunch: feta, beetroot and walnut salad (with rocket and leaves and home made dressing)

Tea: chickpea and sweet potato curry probs a little bit of rice.

Feeling it this morning and have a very unhappy stomach 🤦🏼‍♀️

Snack - soreen thing with butter

Drinks - only 2 coffees. No wonder I'm so constipated! I never seem to remember to drink anything til the evening and then I'm so full I can't get it down me.

Sorry @PearlsPearl I've been on a work thing and away from the thread! I felt absolutely fine, tbf what I ate was 600 calories and about half of what I'd have previously had. Swapping out fries for nuggets is fewer calories and way more protein too. It's not something I'd do regularly but as an occasional treat I now have a go to order that is still within my calorie goal.

How are people managing to eat 3 meals a day? Looking at these posts I’m really worried I’m not eating enough. But I feel so full that I feel sick everytime I eat and have to lie down after! I’m in wk 2 on 2.5. This is what I ate today:
B - two boiled eggs & half an avocado
L - small greek salad with half an avocado & half a pack of smoked salmon
D - nothing
Two cups of tea with full fat milk, lots of water.
I’m not counting calories but wondering if this is enough? Does anyone know if Huel is any good for getting nutrients & extra calories in?

@purpledaze24 welcome! Don’t panic, the suppression will ease over time. Little and often is probably a good way to do things. If you feel fine and have plenty of energy, low calories won’t do you any harm short term. You may want to invest in a good multi vit and watch your fibre intake to prevent any toilet issues. What you may find is that suppression eases as the week goes on which case you could eat more.

What you have listed sounds healthy and filling with plenty of good fats. I personally wouldn’t drink Huel as I aim to avoid upfs as far as I can and I also hate the texture of shakes!

@purpledaze24 it's because you're still very new to taking Mounjaro.... I was exactly the same in the first few weeks. I remember not being able to finish a bowl of yoghurt and berries or only having half a tin of soup and feeling full.

As @IReallyNeedThisToWork says....just concentrate on getting something into your system and what you have eaten seems nutritious. You'll gradually find suppression changes a bit. I'm starting my 17th week tomorrow and am still on 5mg so I can eat a meal no problem.

Week 6, Day 6, 5mg. Starting weight: 14 stones 1lb. Current weight 12 stones 13lbs.

Meal 1: 1 can of Lewis Hamilton Monster diluted with half a litre of water
Meal 2: same as Meal 1
Meal 3: tub of mini Fuet salamis and Iberico cheese (M&S special)
Meal 4: whole pack of M& S Thai fish cakes and half a tub (225g) of Isey baked apple flavoured Skyr
Meal 5: 180g M& S mini roasted ham and 3 large eggs scrambled
Meal 6: 225g baked apple skyr

Added 67kcals from walking. Consumed 1445 kcals, 62 remaining. Don’t need any more food so ending it for today.

Macros: 45 carbs, 80 fat, 142 protein

B: 2x sourdough toast, goats cheese, one with smoked salmon and one with prosciutto

L: raspberries with protein yogurt (didn’t want much as breakfast was late)

D: chicken, Greek salad, potato salad, mixed leaves, square of dark choc.

S: going out for drinks later so I am predicting 2x G+T and maybe some nuts. I think others might be eating so I might have a starter or something if peckish. I had dinner early to let it go down a bit before cycling to the drinks so might be ravenous by 8pm.
