Or whatever the measurement is not sure it’s ml either way a half dose is 30

This is an interesting comment from family chemist. I placed an order for 3 pens. Waiting pharmacist approval. This is part of the generic email they sent out about price hikes

Please be aware that Eli Lilly has introduced a cap on our Mounjaro supply for the next two weeks. Once our current stock is sold, we will not be able to restock until the cap is lifted. For this reason, we advise against panic buying.

Getting emails about it now being oos and no new orders allowed by the pharmacies for two weeks. And therefore no orders for customers.

Guess I'll have to hope that prices don't increase too much in sept when I'll likely be able to order.

Can your DH just order from another pharmacy in the meantime? Hopefully he still has proof of the prescription from the box or an email, so it should be fairly easy if his last order was within the last month or so.

The GP is unlikely to repeat their "diabetes" error, but if they do, the pen should already have been dispensed before the GP is notified.

@CatsorDogsrule that's what I would suggest also for @Everdecreasingcircumferences DH, try to order elsewhere.

@BlackFriYay you need 0.3ml or 30 units on the unit measured syringe you posted.

I messaged my sister yesterday as soon as the news broke to encourage her to order but she hasn't replied so I've no idea if she will be able to get her next pen or not, she was struggling to afford it as it is and only on month 3.
Edit: DSis replied as I wrote this! She only started 7.5mg this week so can't order yet.

I'm getting a bit worried about not hearing from the pharmacies I have ordered from.

On holiday next week from Thursday so now panicking about my orders getting delivered in time.

Anyone heard on their orders yet? If they have been dispatched etc?

I think if I hear nothing by Tuesday I may need to call them up and ask for refunds.

@CatsorDogsrule am trying to move him to Oushk, his BMI is 26 but I know Oushl accepts transferees below bmi27. Just hope I can get an initial call set up for him next week to verify weight etc so we can order before they run out of 10mg. Last order was at the end of June so more than 6 weeks (I know oushk wont have an issue with that as I was in similar position when I moved across to them) he only has one dose left plus bonus dose.

Oushk accepted my order immediately but I need a video weight check as it’s been however long since my last one so they won’t prescribe until that happens on Tuesday. I hope my order is earmarked for me though, and my delivery date is the day before I go on holiday - eek.

An Oushk message this morning said, nicely, please leave them alone as they are super-busy. I WhatsApp’ed them yesterday for new discount codes (I am on maintenance) and they sent them through in a couple of hours. I ordered 3 - 7.5 pens, & order was approved last night also. I am up to date with photos,height confirmation, etc. Due for delivery 27 Aug.
I then heard EL was going to restrict supply for the rest of the month, so I hope this doesn’t affect my order.
I really cannot change to Wegovy, because when I tried it pre-MJ, I got desperately depressed.
This has at least concentrated my mind - lose that pesky three pounds, stabilise, then figure out maintenance by Christmas!

Has anyone used the Internet to buy Mounjaro? My pharmacy has put up the price regularly since I first purchased last year, so I'm looking for another supplier but need to know they're legit.

Pharmulous have stopped orders for a while. Have tried Oushk but no video appointments for ages, so won't get done in time. Grrr.

Is there any other maintenance providers that aren't too much faff and just accept photos of yourself and prescription box?

I don't want to move to Wegovy and start on a lower dose as air would be more effective.

Family chemist has approved my order but only for one one and not the three I had requested

I put in an order with Tribelle. Need video consultation yet, but Pharmulous has stopped orders for a few days and think they will likely be out of stock when up and running. I will let everyone know if they are any good. I only really wanted a spare pen as I've just got an order,but I don't feel like coming off yet and would like to have an emergency pen. My recent order had November 2026 on, so a good one to have later on. Not impressed with having to spend what I have so far this month. I don't feel desperate to stock pile loads as I do want to manage without it, but just wanted a pen in case I needed it after next winter.

Also happy to try Wegovy eventually if desperate, but I don't want to waste money on a low dose that won't do anything initially.

I have been with Family Chemist for about 9 months but by mid morning today they were not taking orders and I am due to order a new pen.

Someone on the price increase thread said they had ordered last night from Pillsorted and it had already been dispatched. So I put an order in for a 12.5mg - bit of pfaff doing two videos - but it was approved within 10 minutes of submitting it! It then said the delivery date was tomorrow which I can’t be home for so I called them up and they pushed my despatch date to Monday which is now showing online on my order as Tuesday being the delivery date. It was more expensive than the Family Chemist but cheaper than September prices will be and the service was really good. Hope this helps someone!

I’ve had an email from MedExpress 8hours after ordering to say they are experiencing high demand and a 7-10 day delay.

I’m with Lotus, moved to them last month as they allow you to order 2 pens at a time with minimal faff (no video call) but my BMI is still over 25 so may be different for maintenance. As soon as I heard about the price rises I ordered another 2x15mg pens from them, they did send an email querying it but when I replied to say it was due to price rises and other pharmacies had contacted me to advise advance ordering they approved and I’ve had a delivery confirmation now with a Royal Mail tracking number so hopefully they’ll arrive. They’re a small pharmacy but not very well known (rarely see them mentioned on here) so might be worth a try as with a smaller customer base they might not be inundated/in panic mode.

Yes it is @Choux sorry looks like they’re having the same issues as everyone else now 😟 guess I was lucky to already be an existing customer and got my order in quickly (saw the hoo haha kicking off on the oushk Facebook group)

as long as my pens turn up that should see me to goal and a bit beyond, I’m not a super responder to MJ (very much a slow plodder) so hoping I can maintain on my own and if not then there’ll be other options available when the time comes.

like others here have said I feel so bad for those just starting out/half way through who still have a lot left to lose this must be devastating

I have had a pen approved today so am ok. Plus I am at goal so need to keep trying to taper down. Well I need to try a bit harder. A bit more exercise and a bit stricter on the food intake - I realise I have been letting my Mounjaro do most of the heavy lifting on my maintenance phase and my carb and chocolate intake is drifting upwards. Today I have been really good so hopefully I can taper down to a lower cheaper dose over the rest of the year.

I've reduced dose from 10mg to 2mg really slowly (like 1mg a month) and honestly, it's been fine. You might surprise yourself - i never expected to but I still get appetite suppression and satiety. Less severe but definitely enough to control diet and not regain weight. You might find a microdose is enough to take the edge off.

I've ordered 3 on maintenance and paid, delivery date approved. Just waiting to see what actually gets dispatched next week. I'm away early in the week so had to pick Fri delivery. Hope that does not scupper things.

I’ve ordered a bundle from chemist 4 u. I’ve sent everything the need so fingers crossed. Not expecting to hear anything until after the weekend though.
