Hopefully @Flapearedknave isn't in a really grumpy mood and just bit the head off a newbie asking what the 5th dose is 🤣

Hahaha no, it was a med express code with no previous posting history 😂

I did think I was maybe a bit aggressive 😂

RagzRebooted · 30/01/2025 09:04

Hi everyone, long time no posting but I have read all the last thread, was just waiting for this milestone before I post. The last few months have been incredibly slow and felt like I'd never get here. But reading this thread and knowing you're all plodding along too, has helped keep me going.

I started in March last year and today I hit BMI 24.9 and a 5 stone loss.

I'd still like to lose a stone as I'm a size 14 and would like to be a 12, I started at size 18-20. I'm 5'10" and currently 12 stone 6lbs. But I still have most of my bum and boobs and don't want to lose them, so not going to go too low!

CiderJabs · 30/01/2025 11:59

Glad you have clarified what happened with the first post so as we can move on 🤣

KrankyKumquat · 30/01/2025 12:09

@RagzRebooted
Congratulations on getting into the healthy range! It's such a massive boost when that finally happens isn't it? And well done for maintaining yer bum 😁

PissedOffNeighbour22 · 30/01/2025 12:25

@CiderJabs its 24.5 today but varies between that and 24.8 constantly.

PissedOffNeighbour22 · 30/01/2025 12:29

@Flapearedknave haha well said

Didn't see the post but I've seen a few new threads on active over last few days with medexpress codes and TopCashback links too. Even asking if anyone has tried MJ - no, haven't heard of it despite a whole new section on MN being created for weight loss injections 🙄

FlappyFish · 30/01/2025 13:21

I sincerely hope all the referral code gumpf is banned with the pharmacy crackdowns. Even discount. Have an RRP and let a company set their price and try and justify more for a service. No other medication would have this madness where you allow a patient to shop round for a cheaper price based on offers and referrals. It’s insidious.

CiderJabs · 30/01/2025 13:53

@PissedOffNeighbour22 I guess it depends on the style of your dress and how you feel in it? My wedding is in the summer and I've also bought my dress. It's A line and it will need taking in on the waist. I'm hovering between 9-6 and 9-10 at the moment, with a bmi of 23ish. I decided not to try and lose anymore because I have no boobs left!

PissedOffNeighbour22 · 30/01/2025 14:12

@CiderJabs it's a vintage style, similar to 1920s. It has lace sleeves and I really wish I'd worked on my arms 😣. It's very baggy around the chest area now and if I lose more weight it will probably come off there and make me even flatter. At my first wedding my boobs looked enormous so this dress will look very different 😂

CiderJabs · 30/01/2025 14:22

I feel your pain. I'm currently looking at sticky bra solutions to fill up the dress 😩

PissedOffNeighbour22 · 30/01/2025 15:04

@CiderJabs I'm too saggy for stick on bras. Might have to stuff my bras like teenagers did back in the day 😂

I'm a FF cup but they look so tiny compared to what they used to be like. No volume at all, and so many stretch marks. I'm glad the dress has lace over the chest to cover all that up.

Good luck trying to find something. I'm struggling to find a strapless bra that fits properly.

FlappyFish · 30/01/2025 15:07

Whilst I don’t have a wedding dress to wear I just want to share the boob pain. I’m still settling but I need a D for bottom cup volume but I have nothing at the top.

CiderJabs · 30/01/2025 15:24

FF???? Jealousy is real 🤣
I am currently wearing 32C mainly out of stubbornness as it should be 32B really. And saggy. Ffs. The dress actually has a fitted bra but it's currently half empty. It's embarrassing!!

PissedOffNeighbour22 · 30/01/2025 16:55

@CiderJabs do you think it can be altered to remove some of the cup space? My first wedding dress 15yrs ago had to have the cups reduced and I was a 14/16 with 34GG boobs - how big do they think most people's boobs are? A lot of wedding dresses seem to be tiny on the waist/hips and massive on the chest.

My current dress is flapping round the chest and creates a noticeable fold 😣. I think loss of boob volume is the main issue. My boobs and stomach look like they've melted.
It's the worse part of the weight loss I think @FlappyFish.

CiderJabs · 30/01/2025 17:18

@PissedOffNeighbour22 @FlappyFish I agree. I'm really not keen on having surgery as I've had my fair share of those over the last few years but I can see why that's an attractive option. They look ok in a bikini as I always get halter neck or push up but when I'm naked I'm amazed they don't touch my toes 😩

TryingToHelpBut · 30/01/2025 17:42

Oh don't with the boob talk. I've bought a couple of cheap bras from primark in a cup size down because mine were too big and I hadn't had a chance to measure and took a chance. It's still too big- why would our bodies take it from there in particular. Very annoying
Hey ho. Just had an experience that's happened a few times since this journey. With some people who impromptu wanted food out. If I know this is happening I can not eat for a while before so I can join in but this was a last min thing and I'd had a decent breakfast. Honestly ordered the smallest thing and picked at it feeling really queasy all the way through. Was thinking about trying to sneak some into a napkin but thought it would be too obvious. Mostly cut it up and moved it around the plate. Horrible feeling and had to go to the loos just to take a minute halfway through. My own fault really for not wanting to share this information with people. Hope I'm not the only one.

Femeia · 30/01/2025 20:31

Thanks to the posters on here who recommended Boob or Bust and Brastop. I now have 4 pretty bras and a swimsuit in a 34FF, having hidden myself in some monstrous 40G bras for years. I've been shopping and bought size 12 jeans and had a splurge on Vinted last night too. I have gone through my cupboards and got rid of all too-big underwear, trousers and shorts - 3 bin bags for charity. That feels really good and I'm NOT keeping anything that is currently too big "just in case".
The weight loss has really slowed down but as I'm at a BMI of 22.3 that's to be expected. I do still have a sizeable tummy and plenty of coverage on my ribs so am still keen to reduce these.
Hope everyone is doing well.

FlappyFish · 30/01/2025 22:57

I am waiting until the summer before I decide on surgery. The challenge with surgery is I remember Pamela Anderson in the 90’s or even Posh Spice’s “just a good bra.” It would look like two bolt on boobs on me at the moment.

I’m kind of used to not having boobs. It does make exercise so much easier.

I guess it takes from our chest as they’re just fat stores really.

@CiderJabs and @PissedOffNeighbour22 i hope you get dress resolution.

@TryingToHelpBut Yes, I do the same. I will eat out, but I have to be prepared. It’s tough isn’t it?

@Femeia It is a wonderful feeling. I have just donated loads. The charity shops are going to make good money from these clear outs I hope.

PissedOffNeighbour22 · 31/01/2025 00:47

@Femeia well done on clearing out! I just can't bring myself to do it in case I put weight on again. I've managed to clear out almost all my size 18 and 20 stuff and make a dent on my 16s. But I'm keeping more back than I really need and can't seem to make myself let go of it all. Must feel good to get 3 bin bags of stuff out.

@FlappyFish I remember the posh spice bolt on boob look. Definitely best to avoid that!
