@BusyBeatle . I go up to 5mg tomorrow but like you said, I took the bonus dose with my last 2.5mg but for me it has had a strong effect on the appetite suppression which has lasted all week . If 5mg goes the same , while that’s what I want , I too do miss enjoying food . I’ve had / still have some lovely social event to look forward too since Xmas and it takes the edge of the fun . Sights are set on looking ok for my holiday in May so I’ll keep on it. I hope the 5mg works for you in time .

@JoanCollinsDiva . Yes to the tea coffee suppression too . I’m more comfortable with just water or herbal drinks . I also have found on WLI I fancy less wine , which is a good thing.

@hanr84 . How are you feeling after your first injection this week ?

End of week 3 for me. Will inject fourth 2.5 tonight, and will try to twist the pen for bonus dose next week.

SW: 13 st 7
CW: 12 st 9
GW: 10 st 3. I am 5ft 4 and have a disability which makes exercising very hard, so all my weight loss is focused on my eating.

Minimal side effects. Freezing cold fingers and toes. Occasional sour taste in mouth. Minor constipation fixed by senokot. Tiredness. All minor and bearable.

Took my bonus dose today (those pharmacy needles are quite daunting!).

I’ve lost 15.5lbs in 4 weeks which is amazing. I’m definitely ready to move up to 5mg next week.

Aside from 1 night of trapped wind, I’ve been fine and dandy and very happy.

Currently on W2 D3 here.

SW: 16st 6.7lb
CW: 15st 12.8lb
GW: So I don't have an overweight BMI 😅so anything around 11 ish st.

No real side effects, poops are starting to get a bit harder though so I need to maintain my fibre intake 😄

I'm shocked by how little I'm eating, usually around 12-1400 cals, which for me is super low. Before I did this I was on around 1750 to try and lose 1.5lb a week and it was hard. I find I need little and often, I can't eat big teas and nothing else all day which I used to. Need to have regular protein snacks but I get full quick.

No real side effects so far for me, all going well.

I just want to be careful I don't lose so quick I get lose skin. I managed nearly 4st on my own before this without lose skin by going slow and steady 🤔

Me too - and another big change - I've not been smoking since I started taking it. I've only ever been an occasional smoker but had got in the habit of having a couple a day with a cup of coffee to try and stop me snacking - but I'm finding I don't fancy it at all.

I read something the other day about MJ potentially being used for addictive behaviours like drugs/alcohol as well. It's no wonder it's being hailed as a wonder drug! I so hope this feeling of finding it easy to make healthy choices continues.

Hi, May I join pls? I’m due my 3rd injection tomorrow. I’ve started looking around for offers for my 5ml dose, has anyone found it easier/cheaper to move around. I’m currently using medexpress but don’t think they offer an existing customer offer at the mo.

Welcome aboard! I am with Farmeci and they have priced match my 5mg to MedExpress, i emailed and asked them if they could and they did! I was already a customer with them so I don't know if that made a difference.

If you use MedExpress don't forget your topcashback too!

Oh no, I've gone to reorder and they won't prescribe it because my ID is now out of date (I applied to update it a week ago but still has not arrived) so they won't fulfill my order until it arrives and I send them my new one. Nightmare!

@MathsMagpie order from somewhere else if you don't have time to wait. Are you renewing a driving license or passport? Driving license may come quickly.

There is a thread here about other suppliers who don't require photo ID and there are quite a lot. I am currently using The Family chemist and I don't recall submitting ID to them. Switching supplier is easy - you usually send them a screenshot of your previous order so they know they can prescribe you a higher dose instead of 2.5mg.

@MathsMagpie looking back I see you have just taken your 4th dose. If you use the bonus dose in the pen next week you won't need your new pen for two weeks so you have a bit of time.

I'm due to take my 4th 2.5mg dose today

Had a really good 3 weeks, was almost at 12lb loss on Monday 27th

Come today, says I've "put" on 6lb

I have been calorie counting and having appx 1500-1600k a day

I am due on, so just hoping this is water weight/ bloating and I'll have a big "loss" next week

Anyone experienced the same thing around the menstruation?

@sentfromiphoen I can honestly have that sort of fluctuation over a day or two anyway, but especially before menstruation.
That's why I weigh myself daily, so I can see the trends. Although I do keep to official weigh in day for actually recording losses.

I have lost 13 pounds since Jan 8. Doesn’t seem possible does it?

Took fourth dose Weds night and have ordered syringes so I can take a bridging dose next week before starting 5mg.

Minimal side effects. Cold, tired, funny taste in mouth, burly. Slightly constipated. Nothing unmanageable. I’m very happy.

@sentfromiphoen I did, I was deflated because I was bloated as and could see the weight loss. Took about a week and a bit to calm down.

I’ve just taken my 3rd 2.5mg dose on thur and last night I had bad cramps - is this related or could it be due to my cycle (I don’t normally suffer at the time of the month) or because I’ve got a rotten cold or because I was on a night shift so hadn’t eaten normally (I wasn’t hungry so didn’t have lunch and a very small tea before work)? So many variables I’m not entirely sure if it’s related or not. Eek - hoping I don’t have any side effects from it

Mega peckish at the end of this week again and not due my jab until Tuesday!

Managed to get my driving licence updated and got it back yesterday so now praying they accept it and prescribe / dispatch tomorrow. I'm moving up to 5mg with this one.

I tried a few of the companies on the thread about companies not needing ID but apparently the regulations have been tightened up in the last few weeks and in-date ID is now a must.

i took my first 5mg on Friday . No side effects . Very strong suppression regarding food and funnily enough alcohol. It was my birthday weekend so I’m glad I took the hirer dose as a lot of “damage control” has been made . 😆

@Souredgrapes Happy belated Birthday! My 5mg should arrive tomorrow, nervous because I've heard a few stories about side effects kicking in but I had non on 2.5 so fingers crossed!

@Souredgrapes im due to start my 5mg on Weds but am also a bit nervous about side effect. I’m also unusually in the office on Thurs and Fri so I’ve decided to just take 3.75 to be safe!

@MathsMagpie and @Pasttheline . Good luck on your step up . Mine went fine , no side effects . Medicine is doing just what it should but I know everyone is not so lucky. X
