Starting mounjaro 15th July, anyone else?

It's in the fridge and I'm going to take the plunge on Monday!
Feeling really nervous about it all. Anyone due to start next week too?

I have just moved onto 5mg. 2nd month, no weightless yet so feeling a bit down. Feel a bit travel sicky and got mild headache but otherwise OK. Have underactive thyroid so the weightloss may be slow to move..I have a lot to lose. 🙄

Total loss = 13.75lbs very very nearly a stone 😀

2.5mg working well for me so not moving up to 5mg. Anyone else planning to stay on 2.5?

I'm with you - not quite 0 weight loss but 4lbs in 4 weeks was not what I was hoping for 🫤

5mg pen has just arrived so hoping for some action this week 💪

I started on week 5 with my first jab of 5mg on Sat. I felt fine on Sat, exhausted on Sun (yet couldn't sleep grr) but yesterday (Mon - so Day 2/3) I feel really queasy all day and had a splitting headache that even my migraine meds didn't touch. But today the headache is gone and I feel much more human. So hopefully that's most of the side-effects over.

Stepping up from 2.5 to 5 is supposed to be the worst jump as it's the only time you double the dosage so I was apprehensive about how bad the side effects might be. Yesterday I was regretting it but knew I had to just push through and it would improve. And it has! So hoping this helps some of you who are also nervous about stepping up to 5.

I didn't get much appetite suppression on 2.5 but there is a distinct difference on 5.

I started at 108kg and I'm now 102.5kg.

I r lost a pound this week so a massive slow down from the previous 3 but on period so maybe that.

I slept terribly last night and today have been wiped out. 2nd day jab for me so maybe that or maybe heat.

I'm looking ahead to next month and wondering about stopping. I feel this will have kick started me but the side effects (fairly mild) won't be missed .

I guess it depends if I lose much this month

I just took my 5th ‘bonus’ dose. Hoping it was all done ok as I didn’t find it hard to twist the pen at all! Anyway, was wondering what we do with the empty pen- assuming it can go in the bin as it’s not sharps and has no medication in it?

Yes I must admit I'll be pleased to stop, not because the side effects have been terrible but because of the fear that they have potential to be. My bowels feel like an unknown risk at present

Yes, in the normal bin is fine.
I think I shall do my bonus dose tomorrow. Hope I can twist it easy too, that would be great!

This is the way I have felt some days it's total wipe out and the dodgy stomach is awful and that's me only at 2.5!

Maybe a big loss next week I was only 1lb down too on same week I suppose this is why people go up to 5mg also

Fab well done 🤗 this gives me slight hope really dubious about buying another pen and the step up!

Thanks. Honestly it was so easy! The first 2 clicks for priming went as normal, then clicked about 10 or 15 before I felt resistance but just kept going. Let me know if yours is the same!

Thought I'd escaped any 5mg side effects but was sick this morning. Just so queasy in the mornings 😔
