Did you really do it on your wedding night?

I'm just so curious.. Is that weird 😂
I don't think I can look sexy under 2 layers of spanx, drinking since 12pm and a day of full on make up and hair lol

Yes, but in my haste to get on with it, I couldn't undo the clasp on my great granny's pearls, that all our family brides had worn for years, so I pulled them, and they broke, my new husband spent ages, on his hands and knees, picking up the loose pearls, from the ensuite floor!! Plus I had to pay to get them restrung after our honeymoon!!

Nope we were absolutely shattered and after spending ages getting me out of my dress and removing all my hair pins it would have killed the mood anyway lol

First wedding, drunk husband and no sex, should have seen the signs. Practically had to beg for sex thereafter with him.

Second wedding- amazing sex after our reception but before joining our good friends for a lovely post-wedding drink at their house. He’s a keeper!

First wedding, I'm sure we must have, though what I remember most is my mother inspecting my "wedding night" case the day before and being horrified that I hadn't packed a pretty little nightie to wear to delight my new husband.

Second wedding, I'd be guessing! We had a very full house with all our children and assorted relatives staying overnight and it's just as likely that we ended up sharing our bed with a displaced tweenager or two. Maybe I should ask DH and see if he remembers.

We did - quickly though as it took nearly half an hour to undo dress and hair pins and both were knackered 🤣

Yes we did. We were young though and did it at least once every day at that point regardless of what was going on.

We did, we hadn’t been guest free for three weeks, so our son has been sharing our bed (rather than sneaking in in the early hours) so things were fairly desperate, plus I had to forgo most of the food at the wedding, so it would have been a bit rubbish to miss it for no reason.

Yes! A few times... Before dancing started we both changed into different outfits, took out my hair grips etc. We didn't drink much and had a couple of rest breaks throughout the day. So when we went to our room we had nothing stopping us!

Had a stress headache
Ate lots of Kinder Eggs and a bag of cheesy doritos
Fell asleep in my pants and DH's t shirt while watching Die Hard.

I remember that night fondly. We were just "us" but married. Mega content chillaxing.

Got up in the morning and went to Wetherspoons with my friends for breakfast.

Not seen that film but fairly certain I wouldn't describe it as sweet. Just two people incredibly turned on by their respective appearances but not having enough time to take it off and get dressed again.

Nope! We were both exhausted. He took my hair down which was about as romantic and intimate as we were going to get (it was in quite a complex up-do with a lot of pins/ clips!) and then we collapsed! 😂

Not at night but in the afternoon between the reception and evening do, him getting me back in my dress was interesting! Had to call in the DM & DMIL and tell them I wanted it loser then id had it for the ceremony hence taking the corset ribbon out 😅

Bet that was mortifying!

Nope, got to our hotel room at 04:45. DH immediately dashed to the loo to be sick then fell asleep in the bathroom. I shoved him into some semblance of the recovery position, covered him with a towel then fell over the end of the bed into my own drunken stupor.

Yes, we had a rather drunken giggly go after taking out billions of hairpins and realising my parents were in the room underneath ours. No corsets or lacing though so at least the dress came off quickly!

No - we were both shattered! Had our honeymoon about 3 weeks after the wedding & were at it like rabbits all week!

1st Marriage, no, nearly fell asleep in the hot tub and drowned.

2nd Marriage, yes! I was sober, he was merry, it was fantastic and we high fived. 😂

Our legal wedding had a very small group of friends and family over for meal and celebration so we very much did. I did my own hair and make up, my dress was fairly simple and I did have some bridal lingerie :)

Our wedding party happened a year later (different country), was big and exhausting - we got back to our suite and ordered Chinese because we were starving. Fell asleep watching Forensic Files. Made up for lack of sex on our honeymoon which started a day later.

First one, yes, he insisted but couldn't perform well due to drink!
Second, we didn't get to bed til 2am and just about got undressed before falling into bed asleep!
